Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 : Land of Rice Fields!!

Marvel Yujin looked at the "gold medal lecturer" in front of him, rolling on the floor, throwing a tantrum, and clinging to Iron Man's legs as if his life depended on it. All he could think was one sentence to describe him:

"You really are something else."

"Compensation! You must pay! Don't you dare leave! Are you broke or something!?"

If these words were directed at any other superhero, he wouldn't have gotten a dime.

But he was questioning Tony Stark.

Tony couldn't stand being thought of as broke—nothing else in the world bothered him more.

Come on, he was flying in his suit in the sky, and you really think I'd be short a few thousand dollars for you?

Tony grit his teeth. "Card number!"

"No bank card." The gold medal lecturer spread his hands.

Not just a bank card—his ID was practically canceled. A legit missing person. Where would a bank card even come from?

"Cash only!"

Tony snapped. "Where am I supposed to get cash? It's been ages since I've even seen paper money!"

It wasn't that he was out of touch with the world.

It was just that he dealt with digital currency every single day.

Paper money could hardly cover any real transactions these days.

It was hard to imagine him, an arms dealer, running around like some smuggler carrying a backpack to make a deal.

"I don't care! Fine, then just strip off your clothes—I'll sell them for a few thousand dollars!"

Tony Stark was completely stunned.

He had never encountered such a stubborn, unyielding pain in the neck in his entire life.

What terrible luck.

"I'll fly and get the money for you!"

"That won't do!" The top instructor gripped tighter. "What if you don't come back?"

"I—"

"No excuses. If you don't bring the money, you're not leaving."

Iron Man's temper flared. "Fine! If you've got the guts, hold onto my foot! I'll take you to get the money!"

"Let's go then!"

The instructor had finally found a chance to make a big profit and was willing to die for it.

Just as Iron Man was about to take off, Marvel Yujin, who had been watching the whole scene quietly, spoke weakly, "Uh… this car's partially mine too. Can I come along?"

Half an hour later, teeth chattering from the cold, Marvel Yujin finally landed.

What?

The gold medal lecturer?

That guy's arm strength was too weak to hold onto Iron Man's foot, so the money-making job was handed over to Yujin.

Before leaving, the instructor reminded him: it had to be at least five thousand dollars, split three-to-seven between them.

Money wasn't the main point.

Yujin mainly wanted to get in on Iron Man's network.

Tony Stark pointed at the house ahead.

"I'll go get the money. Don't move."

"No problem, Mr. Stark. I trust you. Go ahead."

Tony Stark placed both hands on the ground, ready to take off, but suddenly froze.

He turned his head and removed his helmet as if he'd seen a ghost. "How did you know it was me?!"

Yujin shrugged. "Have you heard of 'fortune-telling'?"

"Fortune? What?"

"Divination," Yujin said with a mysterious smile. "Actually, I predicted early on that you'd end up in that alley, so I waited there in advance."

Tony Stark raised an eyebrow suspiciously. "Oh… is that so, Mr. Wizard? So what do you want from me? I mean, after all this, how much money are you expecting?"

"Very simple." Yujin said boldly. "A place to live, a legal identity, no need to cook for myself, a chance to shower every day, and… I want to play on a computer."

Seeing the almost-crying "Mr. Wizard," Tony Stark twitched the corner of his mouth. "Fine."

That evening.

Yujin finally took a long-overdue shower.

Lying on the clean, soft bed, he felt for the first time how comfortable being alive could be.

"Brothers! Brothers!"

He was the first to share the good news with everyone.

Pirate Yujin asked, "What's up?"

"I have a place to live now!"

Uchiha Yujin just stared.

"Uh… congratulations, I guess," Pirate Yujin replied.

At this moment, Pirate Yujin was practicing the iron block.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Yujin was out of the village on a mission with Kakashi Hatake.

And Lord God Yujin was literally dancing on the tip of a blade.

But over in the Marvel world…

It was a place where the poor relied on mutations, and the rich relied on technology.

The cost and conditions to become stronger were extremely high.

Even if Yujin wanted to help boost everyone's abilities, he felt limited.

"Hmm," Yujin took a deep breath. "It's not like there's no progress. I've got a connection with Iron Man. Once we're close, who knows what I might be able to get."

Pirate Yujin asked, "But you can't share tech gear, right?"

"Gear, no. But if I enhance someone's body, that should be transferable!" Yujin said with hope. "If I can get the super-soldier serum that Captain America received…"

Uchiha Yujin's eyes lit up. "That would help a lot! The Naruto world has high offense but low defense. One kunai could take down a jonin. What I'm missing is physical strength."

Before Yujin could reply, Pirate Yujin responded instantly:

"Iron Block is even harder than I thought. Once I master it, you won't have to worry about physical damage anymore."

Uchiha Yujin thought, Iron Block… I learned about the Iron Block. Hard not to think about the time I thought I activated Iron Block, but it was actually Itachi's genjutsu, and I got a shuriken to the head.

Pirate Yujin said, "Can't help it. Unless I eat a devil fruit that counters Itachi."

Uchiha Yujin replied, "We'll talk about that later."

After muting the microphone, Uchiha Yujin finished the bowl of noodle soup in one gulp.

"Don't zone out! This is the border between the Land of Fields and the Land of Lightning. It's easy to run into enemy ninjas. Stay alert!"

Uchiha Yujin put down the bowl and gave Kakashi a speechless glare. "Teacher, even on a secret infiltration mission, you don't forget to wear that mask and flaunt your Copy Ninja title. Who wouldn't know who you are?"

Kakashi stroked his chin. "Then I'll take it off."

Seeing Kakashi's face beneath the mask, Uchiha Yujin froze for a moment.

After struggling to hold back a laugh, he finally said, "Forget it. Keep it on."

Kakashi finished paying, and the two pulled up their hoods and left the noodle shop.

The mission sounded difficult, but it was actually simple.

Simple because the task was just delivering a package.

Difficult because of where the recipient was located.

Since the founding of their nations, the Land of Lightning and the Land of Fire had been in constant conflict.

Then, the Land of Fire produced a ridiculously skilled ninja who could make anything appear with a stomp and hands pressed together.

Relations between the Land of Lightning and the Land of Fire eased a bit.

After Hashirama Senju passed away, tensions between the villages tightened again.

With great love in his heart, Uchiha Yujin's jutsu "Idol"—the second Hokage, Tobirama Senju—personally went to the Hidden Cloud Village to sign an alliance contract.

During the meeting, a coup led by Gold and Silver Brothers occurred, and both the Second Raikage and the revered Tobirama died.

Since then, relations between the two countries became irreconcilable, turning the Land of Fields into a constant battleground, sparking the Third Great Ninja War.

Then came the whole Kakashi and Obito situation.

Kakashi returned to a place of sorrow, carrying a heavy heart.

Uchiha Yujin, however, felt completely relaxed.

As long as he stayed away from Uchiha territory, he could do whatever he wanted.

Of course, this only worked if he followed someone with Kakashi's top-tier combat skills.

Otherwise, his Sharingan would make him a prime target.

For example, that Snake-Eye lady staring intently from afar.
