Who is the most overrated ninja in Naruto?
I dare not say, afraid of getting roasted online.
But the most underrated ninja? That has to be Orochimaru.
During the Chunin Exams, Sasuke fought Orochimaru in the Forest of Death, and it seemed like neither gained the upper hand.
In fact, Sasuke even managed to make a meme-worthy expression out of Orochimaru.
Sasuke tormented him.
Itachi defeated him instantly.
Compared to the other two Legendary Sannin, Jiraiya and Tsunade, Orochimaru's performance almost didn't even feel worthy of the Sannin title.
But if you only judge him by the anime, thinking Orochimaru is just for show… that would be a grave mistake.
Uchiha Yujin was clever.

A hint of surprise flickered in his eyes.
Without hesitation, he lightly leaped, landing behind Uchiha Yujin.
Orochimaru's head moved forward as his neck stretched, his gaze locked firmly on Uchiha Yujin.
His mouth opened, revealing sharp teeth, and he lunged forward to bite.
But the sensation he imagined wasn't there.
A look of admiration flashed across Orochimaru's eyes.
"Bang!"
The attack missed again, his long neck swinging through the air, clearly biting only at the clone Uchiha Yujin had left behind.
As the smoke cleared, Uchiha Yujin's clone vanished.
He had already used the opportunity to leap onto a nearby rooftop.
Orochimaru retracted his long neck, flicking his tongue twice in the air with a low, raspy hiss.

He quickly pulled a wire, and a hidden third, enormous shuriken shot toward Orochimaru from another direction at astonishing speed!

However, Uchiha Yujin's Sharingan had already predicted his movements. He adjusted the wire, and the trajectory of the giant shuriken followed Orochimaru's every move!
Finally! The giant shuriken grazed Orochimaru's shoulder. It wasn't fatal, but it left a deep cut!
Surprise flashed across Orochimaru's face, quickly turning into frenzy.
"It's you! It's you!" Orochimaru hissed, twisting his body as his snake-like skin began to peel away.
As the new skin revealed itself, the wound caused moments ago by Uchiha Yujin's Windmill Slash on the third blade vanished as if it had never existed.
Orochimaru's eyes glimmered with the fanatic intensity of a twisted zealot, locking onto Uchiha Yujin with a chilling focus.
"I've changed my mind, brat!" Orochimaru's voice carried an unsettling excitement. "You need to grow. You're not ready yet! I can't take you as a vessel so soon—not yet, not yet!"
Uchiha Yujin stared at the perverted figure before him, a deep wave of dread rising in his chest.
He drew in a steadying breath, his voice tinged with both despair and anger. "Kakashi-sensei! If you don't show up now, I'm done for!"
The battle just now had been so intense that Uchiha Yujin couldn't believe Kakashi hadn't noticed what was happening here.
As soon as the words left his mouth, his gaze drifted to the distance.
There, on the horizon, a shocking scene unfolded.
Countless sharp bone spikes erupted from the ground, piercing through the rooftops and forming a massive lotus-shaped flower made entirely of bones.
The bloom of this bone flower destroyed half a street's buildings and left a horrifying scar against the night sky.
Amid this sudden disaster, a lone figure danced across the tips of the countless bone spikes, moving as if he were performing on a blade's edge.
His movements were both swift and graceful. Every leap avoided the deadly spikes, displaying extraordinary skill and a keen awareness of danger.
Uchiha Yujin's pupils contracted. He immediately recognized the figure.
Who else could it be, under attack in this place, if not Hatake Kakashi?
Kakashi weaved through the bone spikes, his ever-present book, Intimate Paradise, set aside. His usual lazy gaze was gone, replaced with sharp focus and vigilance.
Meanwhile, five figures closed in, attacking Kakashi from all directions.
Their movements were swift and deadly, each strike carrying the power to destroy everything.
Among these attackers, the most agile was a figure covered in white bones.
Kimimaro!
These were the five Sound Ninja! Their silhouettes crossed through the night sky, and together, the five of them caught Kakashi completely off guard.
This was bad.
