The square was ablaze with fire.
A group of newcomers huddled together, terrified of being caught in the chaos.
The battle had already raged for about a day.
Da Qiang had gone from shock, to anger, to irritation.
Now, he was filled with fear and panic, completely helpless.
He had lost all will to fight and only wanted to run.
He was exhausted—utterly exhausted.
Anyone who had watched boxing matches would understand.
By the third round, it was no longer about skill, but endurance, stamina, and sheer willpower.
In all three of these aspects, Da Qiang was far inferior to Yujin.
Though both had a first-tier gene lock, Yujin also had the second stage of the Cursed Seal of Heaven, continuously restoring his stamina and chakra.
The bracelet on his wrist, given by Zang Ting, also played a significant role.
The painful experience of becoming a human pig had made Yujin's willpower stronger than ever.
Now, looking at Da Qiang, it was a different story.
The clothes on his body had long since turned to ashes under the scorching fireball.
He was completely naked, not a single hair left.
Even the simple act of lifting his arm was torture.
He had long since reached his physical limit.
If it weren't for the occasional aid from the Lord God, he would probably have been worn down to death by Yujin.
Injuries could heal, but his stamina could not.
His mental state had collapsed entirely.
Since joining the breeding team and being chosen by Meng Yao, Da Qiang had hardly ever faced real danger.
He was a seasoned product of careful cultivation.
Even a first-tier gene lock had been activated using the T-virus from Resident Evil.
Although the shadows brought by Grudge were many, Meng Yao's support at the time had kept him from being truly afraid.
Now, facing a real life-or-death crisis, he felt fear for the first time.
"You… you… you…"
Da Qiang limped forward, unable to finish a single curse properly.
Behind him, Yujin was also in rough shape, but the sheer determination in Yujin's eyes made Da Qiang dare not stop.
Da Qiang had tried opening his room door before, but in his current state, even a slight movement toward the handle—his most vulnerable point—would trigger a kunai stuck there.
If he tried to force it open, ignoring the defenses…
Then a kunai would pierce his heart without question.
Da Qiang had tried fighting with all his strength before.
But under those Sharingan eyes, even hitting Yujin was almost impossible.
Not to mention Yujin had substitution techniques, water walls, iron blocks, and other defensive skills.
"W-wait!" Da Qiang shouted hoarsely, smoke practically coming from his throat. "Y-you… can't kill me… and I… can't kill you either… so… maybe… we should just… stop."
"Stop?"
Yujin glared at him with unblinking eyes. "Even if we fight for ten days! Until the next horror movie starts! I… will not stop!!"
A dangerous smile curved Yujin's lips. His chest rose and fell rapidly, and the cursed flesh mark on his back trembled along with him.
"I can't wait to enter the next horror movie."
"No more repairs from the Lord God."
"You will die in my hands sooner or later!!!"
Hearing this, Da Qiang's legs went weak, and he almost fell flat on his face.
The onlookers all shrank back in fear.
Too terrifying!
Too insane!
Was this kid a lunatic?
The cat-and-mouse game continued for another fifteen hours.
Da Qiang's condition was extremely worrying.
He drooped his eyes and dragged his exhausted body step by step toward his room.
Behind him, six kunai and three shurikens were embedded in his back. From each wound, a faint white glow spread.
That was the effect of the Lord God repairing his injuries.
But Daqiang no longer had the strength to pull out his ninja tools.
Yujin wasn't in much better shape.
Blood-stained tears hung at the corners of his eyes.
His arm was dislocated, he limped painfully, and his face was a patchwork of blue and purple bruises.
Finally, Daqiang staggered to the door of his room.
It was an elaborately decorated Chinese-style door, with a majestic stone lion standing on each side.
His hand trembled as he rested it on the cold doorknob, a complex wave of emotions rising in his heart.
Who would have thought that one day he would be chased and beaten like a sick dog?
Thankfully, he thought, he could finally take a rest.
However, just as he was about to push the door open, a sharp pain shot through his lower back!
He struggled to turn his head and saw Yujin holding a kunai, his eyes blazing with unyielding determination.
Unfortunately, Yujin was nearly exhausted, and his kunai could not pierce the flesh strengthened by Daqiang's Toguro enhancement.
It could only inflict pain.
A faint smile appeared on Daqiang's face.
He thought he could finally escape this endless chase.
He turned the doorknob, and the door slowly opened, revealing a warm light beyond.
But at that moment, a sudden, sharp pain struck his ear!
Yujin, from somewhere, had found the strength to leap at him and sank his teeth violently into his ear!
This bite carried all of Yujin's anger and unwillingness.
His teeth sank deeply into Daqiang's ear.
Daqiang cried out in pain, instinctively reaching for his ear, trying to push Yujin away.
But Yujin was like a crazed beast, holding on with unrelenting ferocity, no matter how Daqiang struggled.
The newcomers watching the scene shuddered.
They had never imagined a battle could be so cruel and enduring.
Yujin's madness was fully revealed at that moment.
Daqiang's strength was already at its limit, and his struggles grew weaker, while Yujin's bite sank even deeper.
With no choice left, Daqiang painfully crawled into the room.
"Ah!"
With a roar, Daqiang collapsed inside!
Clutching his ear, he panicked and shouted, "Master! Master! No one… no one is allowed in my room!"
Da Qiang gave the order, and Yujin felt an irresistible force push him far away.
With a "thud," Yujin fell headfirst to the ground.
Blood covered his body, yet a smile lingered on his face.
In his eyes, however, shone the light of victory.
Summoning the last of his strength, he spat out toward Da Qiang's ear, "Terrifying!"
Xiao Yehui instinctively covered her mouth. Only Zhang Jie understood why all of this had happened.
Although the battle hadn't truly reached a conclusion, everyone knew this was just the beginning.
Zhang Jie and Nova lifted Yujin to the door of his own room.
After Yujin gave instructions on creating the artificial humans, selecting rooms, and enhancing them, he crawled into his room.
He collapsed onto the bed and slept—three full days.
Voices of discussion buzzed around him.
The Lord God Yujin groggily opened his eyes.
The moment he did, his heart skipped a beat!
"Swish!"
He raised his hand and threw a kunai, stabbing into the chest of the woman before him!
But the imagined scolding and attacks never came. The figure simply stood there, motionless.
"Phew."
Seeing that the figure before him was merely an artificial human he had created, Yujin exhaled in relief.
After a three-day nightmare, he could hardly tell reality from dreams.
"Repair."
Spending five points to repair the artificial human, Yujin continued, "From now on, you stay in that room. If I don't let you out, you will remain there forever."
"Yes." The Meng Yao artificial human nodded and walked toward the depths of the room.
