Synopsis
In the magical and fragmented world of Evanhëar, where kingdoms vie for power through magic, forbidden relics, and rival guilds, there exists a place that holds more secrets than spells: the legendary Guild of Mirrors. Specialized in hunting creatures born from Darkness - horrors formed by human fear, guilt, or denied love - this guild not only combats evil... it faces it within the soul. It is in this scenario of arcane conflict and emotional shadows that two young magicians cross paths: Cael, a rebellious and sarcastic sorcerer, with a dark aura and a tarnished past. Ezren, a prodigy of light, serious and disciplined, marked by losses and expectations. Forced to work together, they discover that their powers - opposite in essence - form a rare and dangerously compatible union. What begins as rivalry slowly transforms into connection... but the world around them does not forgive forbidden feelings. As the bond between them strengthens, a hidden entity awakens in the shadows of reality, corrupting dreams and breaking ancient seals. Creatures created by trauma and unspoken desires emerge to destroy not only the kingdoms - but the love that could save them. Magic can heal. Magic can kill. But only love can liberate... or condemn. Get ready for an intense journey, where every spell carries an emotional price, and every choice can be the last. Where the greatest battle will not be between light and darkness... but between denying love or facing the world for it.

"It's curious how fate brings together precisely those who would do anything to stay apart."

High in the mist-shrouded mountains lies the city of Kar'Nath, a place breathing magic and mystery. It is there that the Guild of Mirrors, the most enigmatic in all Evanhëar, holds its annual recruitment.

Hundreds of young mages arrive, carrying hopes, ambitions… and deep scars they'd rather hide.

Among them is Cael, cloaked in a black overcoat, eyes fixed on the ground — as if he didn't belong anywhere.

Then there's Ezren, who arrives on a white wyvern, laughing with his companions and radiating confidence — or arrogance.

Their eyes meet for the first time, and something in the air silently cracks.

Ezren (thinking):

"Great. Another brooding goth with a cursed vibe."

Cael (thinking):

"So full of light... and hollow inside."

During the entrance exam, the candidates are thrown into an illusory forest crafted by arcane mirrors. Their task: to capture the feared Memory Eater, a specter that feeds on painful memories and corrupts the minds of those who face it.

By a cruel twist of fate, Cael and Ezren are paired together.

Ezren (coldly):

"I refuse to fight beside a shadow mage."

Cael (shrugging):

"Then die alone."

The encounter with the specter nearly kills them.

The Memory Eater pierces their minds, forcing them to relive their deepest traumas.

Cael sees his father swallowed by shadows before his very eyes.

Ezren watches the temple burn, hears the screams of light-worshipping fanatics who imprisoned him for "not being pure."

The pain is nearly unbearable.

But at the height of despair, without knowing why, one reaches out.

And the other... accepts.

For a brief moment, their hands touch.

A bond forms — not of empathy, but of raw survival instinct.

🧩 CLIMAX

Combining their spells — runes of light and emotional shadowfire —

they forge a new form of magic: a spiral that pulls the Memory Eater inward, sealing it inside a shattered mirror.

It's something no one has ever seen.

The Guild's examiners fall completely silent.

But as they leave the illusionary forest, the contempt remains:

Ezren:

"Stay away from me."

Cael:

"Gladly."

Both are accepted.

But high in the tower of dark crystal, the Guildmaster of Mirrors watches them with a gaze full of foreboding:

"Those two... will either destroy each other.

Or save one another."
