Chapter 242: Can the Main Universe Justice League Shake the Multiverse? They Don't Have That Kind of Strength.

In the various worlds of the Domain of the Gods, a commotion even greater than the one during Du Wa's ascension to godhood erupted. They simply couldn't accept the fact that the Multiverse might be destroyed by the battle between two powerful deities.

Everyone was concentrating their power to probe the mysteries of the Source Wall, hoping to break free from this damned cage as soon as possible. And now, two multiversal gods who had never even been to the Domain of the Gods were about to smash the core region of the world within the Wall—the Multiverse?

This was truly unfortunate.

"The Domain of the Gods is so vast, let them fight there! It's not just them; even during wars between worlds, whether it was the war between Heaven and Hell or the battle between Apokolips and New Genesis, we never saw the Domain of the Gods get shattered!"

A deity immediately sent a divine message toward the Heavenly Host.

Zeus received all sorts of divine messages, his expression turning ugly. "I don't know that unclothed fellow at all, nor have I ever analyzed any information about him!"

If such a powerful deity existed, he would have made a move to pull him into the Heavenly Host long ago. How could he have allowed such a character to come to blows with Du Wa?

But then again, this blue being was truly peculiar. He appeared out of thin air. Could he also be an outside god? To be this strong right after arriving, yet clearly not a Concept God, and the power he wielded was quantum?

A strange fellow, even stranger than Du Wa. At least Du Wa's path to ascension was relatively clear and partially visible, but this blue being had truly materialized from nothing.

Zeus, like the other deities, could at best capture Doctor Manhattan's shadow in the history of the Multiverse and know that this fellow was investigating the secrets of history, but they couldn't find any useful information regarding his birth or origin.

This was bizarre.

"This guy also has the ability to create clones. What's truly tricky is that I can't currently see any difference in strength between his clones and his main body. Is this a unique cloaking ability of a quantum deity?"

"It's likely a method developed using the inherent characteristics of the quantum realm itself. Du Wa can do the same. He is constantly copying and superimposing his concept. As a Concept God system different from The Endless, this performance is stunning enough."

To be honest, the gods in the Domain of the Gods all acknowledged Du Wa's uniqueness. They were amazed that Du Wa could become a Concept God relying on a single race and even step into the multiversal level. However, they also had doubts about Du Wa's upper limit, believing it was nearly impossible for him to become a truly powerful multiversal god.

In the multiversal hierarchy, he was third-rate at best.

But the moment Du Wa and Doctor Manhattan started fighting, they were still able to exert terrifying pressure on the Multiverse.

A continuous stream of divine messages entered the Multiverse, attempting to persuade Du Wa and Doctor Manhattan to stop. If they really had to fight, they should come to the Domain of the Gods to do it.

However, the few beings who had truly transcended the Multiverse and stood at a higher position seemed unconcerned about Du Wa and Doctor Manhattan. With a single glance, they could see the entire process of Doctor Manhattan entering the DC Comics Universe.

After one look, they immediately lost interest.

Michael, Lucifer, Eye of God... these beings of mysterious origin, who transcended all space-time, dimensions, concepts, energy, and rules, their perspective had long since spanned countless multiverses.

Main Universe, Gotham City.

As Du Wa and Doctor Manhattan fought, a terrifying, annihilating power erupted, which was monitored all across Earth.

"Another world-destroying disaster, but strangely, the populace isn't panicking like last time. They are evacuating in an orderly fashion."

A strange smile appeared on Adrian's face. Those who knew him knew this meant he had made a good discovery. "Why is that, Batman? Doctor Manhattan is clearly so much more powerful than the likes of the Third Army or Volthoom. The fact that he can make *That One* take him so seriously already says it all. So why are the people so at ease?"

"Because many people have become Xenomorphs, voluntarily accepting Du Wa's control. If Du Wa doesn't let them panic, they won't feel panic. When the ordinary people who haven't been implanted see that no one around them is panicking, they calm down as well." Main Universe Batman, holding an empty plate, lifted his head and looked indifferently at Adrian, who was eating and drinking.

This guy from an unfamiliar universe had infiltrated his manor and eaten his breakfast. How outrageous.

"Tell me your purpose. I don't have time to waste on you." Batman had made up his mind to send this guy to Arkham Asylum for some... re-education. Everyone who entered Arkham would undergo a heartfelt spiritual cleansing and would show a noticeable change.

"I am not your enemy, at least not right now. I have no designs on this ridiculously large and unbelievably powerful world. I'm an ordinary person, just like you. I don't have the immense power of Superman, otherwise, I would be the one fighting Doctor Manhattan right now. Don't you agree, Rorschach?"

Adrian quickly finished the food.

The Second Generation Rorschach whispered helplessly, "If you're really that hungry, I can take you to a restaurant. Besides, I was the one who had my eye on that breakfast. I should have been the one to greet Batman, not you."

"This is why I needed to bring you along, instead of us acting separately as originally planned. Facing Batman, we have a numerical advantage—two mortals against one mortal," Adrian said.

"If that's what you think, you are gravely mistaken. It's two mortals against one mortal and one superhuman."

DCEU Batman walked out from the shadows. He looked at the grim-faced Main Universe Batman and added specifically, "I also have a manor in my world. Cracking the various puzzles and passwords you've set up, while a bit difficult, is not impossible."

Adrian acted decisively, immediately throwing a bomb from his belt and detonating the lavish hall. In the chaos, he escaped with the Second Generation Rorschach.

"Negotiations failed. An unexpected situation arose. I didn't expect the Batmen of two different universes to actually team up, and one of them is even a Xenomorph Batman... This is terrible. It means we have inevitably fallen into *That One's* field of vision." Adrian's face was exceptionally grim.

The Second Generation Rorschach smiled wryly. "Is it too late to be avoiding Du Wa's name now? His eyes and ears are in every corner. And now that he's clashed with Jon, I don't believe for a second he doesn't know about the two of us."

Jon was Doctor Manhattan's human name. Besides the few of them, no one else would call Doctor Manhattan by that name anymore.

Adrian's plan had been a fine one: he would seize the opportunity to escape, then hide and carefully examine this world for vulnerabilities. So far, he hadn't found anything he could exploit. Inciting a civil war among the heroes was completely out of the question.

"This is just terrible. I had originally planned to unite organizations like the Secret Society and the Legion of Doom. I thought I could accomplish something with these villains, but such methods are utterly meaningless before the God of Xenomorphs." A deep sense of powerlessness welled up in Adrian's heart.

If it weren't for Du Wa, if this world were still the world protected by the Justice League, there would have been so many angles to exploit. At the very least, those villains who opposed the superheroes would have been excellent targets for unity. He would only have needed to spread the nascent Superhero Theory to create global chaos.

He could have used the immense and uncontrollable power of superheroes to provoke opposition and suspicion among the world's governments, igniting global conflict and chaos.

Unfortunately, after the God of Xenomorphs descended upon this world and ultimately won the war, the entire Earth, the entire universe, was sliding at an incredible speed toward a predictable future.

"Yes, everything is visible, all within the sight of the God of Xenomorphs... If even the most intelligent person, Batman, isn't on my side, I have no other choice."

Adrian was extremely uneasy.

He quickly stopped in his tracks.

The Second Generation Rorschach also looked warily at the figure blocking their path.

An Iron Man bathed in green light.

"Stay. The two of you are, at best, slightly more capable than ordinary people. With no prior preparation, it's impossible for you to defeat me."

Steel Lantern stared coldly at the two visitors from the otherworld. "You don't even have the opportunity to build a state-of-the-art laboratory to create high-tech equipment for yourselves. That makes your brains useless as well. Resistance is death."

"Damn it, the minions of the God of Xenomorphs are already onto us," the Second Generation Rorschach muttered, realizing their team was about to be wiped out.

Their strongest member, Doctor Manhattan, was being forcefully intercepted by Du Wa. There was no telling how the battle was progressing. The fact that he could force Doctor Manhattan into a full-blown fight was already a testament to Du Wa's terrifying strength.

Now, the two of them, lacking any deity-level power, had been forced to expose themselves and were being hunted by these Xenomorphs.

There was no escape. No escape at all.

"I shouldn't have listened to you. Maybe we should have tried to recruit those villains in hiding, like this world's Lex Luthor, or the Joker," the Second Generation Rorschach grumbled as he charged toward Steel Lantern.

The result was obvious. Steel Lantern casually created a giant, green mechanical arm and blasted him into a bloody pulp with a single shot.

"Hey, that was too rough!"

Frank arrived late, looking at the Second Generation Rorschach, who was missing half his body, and yelled, "Maybe they had some value! At the very least, they could have given us the coordinates to their universe! What if Du Wa could have used it?"

Steel Lantern sized up the Power Ring on Frank's hand. "You were the last to join, yet you possess an extraordinary loyalty to Du Wa. It's incredible. However, you only wield a Power Ring. You are not qualified to speak to me with that commanding tone."

What a joke. After arriving in the DC Universe, Steel Lantern was already capable of fully unleashing his power, connecting to the emotional spectrum, and wielding the green power of will. His strength was increasing daily; he just needed a little more time to develop.

"As for the universe of these outsiders you mentioned... Du Wa is currently dealing with their deity. If he wins, he gets everything he wants, including their universe's coordinates. If he loses, we'll all die. There's no escape," Steel Lantern said coldly.

Frank was still too naive. No matter how great his potential was or how strong his adaptability to the emotional spectrum, he was still just a beginner.

Adrian stood alone, surrounded by more Xenomorphs. "This is truly terrible. You don't intend to leave me alive?"

"Give up on your plans. There are many who've wanted to rebel against Du Wa, both intelligent men and gods alike, but in the end, not a single one succeeded. They could only offer up all their abilities to serve Du Wa. For an ambitious fellow like you, death is your best destination."

DCEU Batman caught up. He shot out a Batarang, and in the instant Main Universe Batman moved to block it, he immediately threw more Batarangs, sealing off all of Adrian's movements and blowing him to pieces.

"Listen to me, there's no use in keeping a guy like this alive. Besides, you can't stop me. I am far stronger than you," DCEU Batman said coldly.

"That doesn't mean you should have killed him!"

"So what if I kill? I'm not like you. Look at the Gotham City you govern—it's a complete mess! When we entered this world, I even saw online reports of Gotham citizens holding protest after protest against you. They wish you were dead!" DCEU Batman scolded.

Just as the world fell into chaos after the "Superhero Registration Act" was introduced in the Marvel Multiverse, leading to frequent civil wars among heroes, DC Comics had a similar "Superhero Theory." If things had gone as expected, it should have created a massive schism on Earth.

The citizens of Gotham who vehemently opposed Batman were believers in this "Superhero Theory." They loathed and deeply hated the Batman who desperately protected them, yet whose protection only made the situation in Gotham City worse.

Even Main Universe Batman couldn't find a good way to respond to the public's angry curses and accusations, let alone completely end the chaos in Gotham City.

DCEU Batman had never seen such a chaotic Gotham City.

"I don't know why Du Wa hasn't implanted you and turned you into one of us. Perhaps he has a more important target. But I don't want us to be on opposing sides before Du Wa makes his move. I don't want to kill you," DCEU Batman said coldly.

More Xenomorphs gathered around them. One figure after another entered Main Universe Batman's line of sight. Even when Main Universe Superman subsequently arrived, the Xenomorph members paid no mind to the heroes of the main universe. The Main Universe Justice League and other hero teams were nothing in their eyes. So what if they were a little stronger than their parallel universe counterparts? What use was that?

Before the Xenomorphs, they were nothing but meek and submissive. What's more, the Xenomorphs had their own deity, a multiverse-level God of Xenomorphs!

Does the Main Universe Justice League have a god? A God of the Justice League? Do they have the strength to shake the Multiverse? Impossible. They completely lack that kind of strength.

Even Main Universe Superman himself only believed that he would fight to his last breath and never retreat, but he wasn't certain he could defeat such a large number of powerful enemies. Before him alone, there were numerous Superman-like Xenomorphs!
