…Wait.
Did she seriously just introduce herself as Levi-tan?
That name… why does it tickle something in the back of my mind?
It's too familiar to ignore.
Oh, that's right!
There used to be this one guy—an absolute pain in my ass—who spent every waking moment worshipping the so-called "magical girl community."
A full-blown zealot.
His online handle?
Levia-tan.
Now that I think about it…
Isn't it a little too strange?
Both of them share the same obsession with magical girls?
No, no, of course it has to be a coincidence.
There's no way reality is trolling me that hard.
…Except… didn't that guy also use a profile picture of a ridiculously cute anime girl?
One who looked uncannily similar to her?
Same hair, same innocent smile…
Okay, now I'm officially creeped out.
I seriously hope… she's not that same guy.
The one who practically terrorized my beloved Magical Girl Raising Project with hundreds of thousands of hate comments—each one painfully unique in its own special way.
If she is… then what the hell am I supposed to do now?
Panic?
Confront her?
Run screaming in the opposite direction?
Ugh… I can already feel my brain short-circuiting just thinking about it.
…Nah, forget it.
Even if she is that guy, she has no idea who the real writer is—that's me.
As long as I keep my identity hidden, there's really nothing to worry about.
No drama, no confrontation, nothing.
Easy. Simple. Problem solved.
…Wait!
My laptop is still on the table, open to the draft I was working on before Sona showed up…
Oh no.
She's going to see it!
I have to think fast.
I need a distraction, anything to keep her eyes off the screen!
Meanwhile, this sis-con idiot was hugging Sona with a ridiculous, toothy grin.
Sona, as always, remained completely unfazed and pushed her away without a hint of emotion.
Rias finally spoke up.
"Lady Serafall. It's good to see you again."
"Oh, little Rias? Howdy there! How are you?!"
Serafall's voice was bright and cheerful—so adorably casual that even the usually unshakable president of the Occult Research Club looked a little taken aback.
"I-I'm well—thank you for asking. Are you here to visit Sona today?"
Rias stammered, trying to regain her composure.
"Yep!"
Serafall replied with a playful wink.
"You're so mean, Sona! You didn't tell me about the human you're having an affair with! As your big sister, I was shocked! I almost went and attacked the Heavenly Realm!"
Sona suddenly turned bright red.
"Big sis! Our relationship hasn't reached that far yet!"
Hearing her protest… I felt a weird, almost second-hand shyness creeping over me.
Seriously, even though we're all practically family at this point, the idea of anyone talking about Sona like that made me flustered.
After all, we're not in a romantic relationship—at least, not yet.
For now, I'm officially just with Rias.
Serafall's expression went from playful to utter shock, like the sky itself had been ripped apart.
"What!? So… you mean you're not going to marry your sis-sis, but this human?!"
Serafall wobbled back and forth, as if her legs had completely lost the strength to hold her up.
"I… I just thought it was some rumor! Or maybe a misunderstanding… but… You already love him?!"
Sona's cheeks burned an even deeper shade of red.
"What?! I never said I love him!! …I'll propose… at the right time and in the right mood first…"
She murmured the last part almost to herself.
And hearing that… well, it made me blush even more.
Clearly, I'm not some dense rom-com protagonist—her whisper was unmistakable.
I heard it.
Every word.
Yet… somehow, that didn't help my embarrassment one bit.
I stepped forward, my hand hesitantly reaching out.
"Umm… future sister-in-law," I said, my voice a little shaky, "I hope we can get along… and, well… I hope you'll give us your blessing in the future, too."
Even as I spoke, my cheeks burned with embarrassment.
And yet… somehow, I was enjoying it.
Every awkward, heart-thumping second.
Suddenly, she jerked upright and stumbled back—ten steps in total—as if I had somehow stepped on her tail or invaded some sacred personal space.
Rude.
"No! Don't come any closer to me!!!"
Even ruder this time.
I swear… the way she was looking at me made it feel like I'd turned into some kind of criminal or—worse—a total lifetime enemy.
Ah! Shit!
My laptop… It's right there!
Perfectly visible from where she is!
No, no, no!
Serafall's sharp eyes caught sight of it in her peripheral vision, and with that unnervingly good eyesight of hers, she immediately picked up on a few key words: "magical girl."
Before I could even react, she appeared right in front of my laptop, practically beaming with excitement.
"Oh! You write stories about magical girls? Yay!"
She said it cheerfully… and immediately started reading my draft.
…Oh, fuck.
She read it.
All of it.
And with every line, I could feel her excitement slowly drain away, replaced by a cold, furious glare that could probably freeze hell over.
…Yep.
I'm so screwed.
Suddenly, with a furious grip, she crushed my laptop in an instant.
"So… you're the author of this novel? You are so dead now!"
The moment the words left her mouth, the temperature in the room seemed to plummet below freezing.
She lunged at me like a living hurricane.
Just as she was about to reach me… Sona stepped in between us, blocking her path with calm precision.
Sona looked at Serafall with a deadpan expression and said,
"Big sis… if you hurt him, I will hate you."
The effect was instantaneous.
It was like a bolt of lightning struck Serafall right on the spot.
Her legs wobbled uncontrollably, and before she could even react, she collapsed to the floor—completely powerless.
Instant K.O.
It was quiet… too quiet.
But I could still make out the words trembling from her mouth.
"Sniff… sniff… sob… sob… So-tan… So-tan… my precious So-tan… who promised she'd marry me… and now she's in love with the guy I hate the most… sob… sob…"
Wait—she's actually crying?!
What the hell?!
Has she been real?
Sigh… anyway, she's still my future sister-in-law.
I couldn't just leave her like this.
"Sona… please… because of me, don't hate her, okay?"
I said, stepping forward and extending my hand to Serafall.
"Look, sis—I mean, Levi-tan," I continued, trying to steady my voice, "I know I'm not the one you… like. But we have a lot in common. We both care about Sona, right? She's one of the most important people in our lives. Can't we at least try to get along, for her sake? I don't want to be the one who destroys your pure relationship with her. You don't have to accept me right away… but please… just give me a chance."
