"Where is the f--king bag?!" Eric yelled out even louder.
"I'm not telling you, asshole. F--king wimp!"
"Alright. You already wasted two rounds of mercy from me. I can just make it quick then. Whatever reason you have for not wanting to let the bag go, I'm not interested. I can't handle it anymore. You're making me want to burn everyone here to death, including Phil.
Nothing is more valuable to me than that bag and its contents. If I won't find it because of some amateur kidnappers, I might as well burn the whole slum down."
Eric bent slightly with his chin buried deep in his chest as if he was in great pain. His two hands were outstretched in front of him. Moments later, a large ball of fire blazed up on his left hand and later in his right too.
To tap from the core of my belly, huh? How much must I tap for me to conjure such fire that's enough to burn this whole neighborhood down?
They said every man has a monster in him. These b---hes have just unleashed one hell of a monster in me. Burn. Burn. Burn!
'Wait...'
Good grief, I'm such a dumbass, man. Why didn't I remember there's a better and faster way to search for the bag?
[Took host long enough to remember that there's an easier way to find the bag]
That's right. Why was I sweating it out when I have the clairvoyance ability?
I must have grown accustomed to a hard way of living.
[I would have reminded you but like I said, host don't need the system's permission to use abilities. It's all up to you to remember what ability to use and at what time.]
"Ha... Hehehe! Silly me. I could have burnt these worthless freaks when I have the easier way. Not like their deaths won't be worth it after all. I'm not holding grudges but, ya kidnapped and sold me, yet you won't give me my damn bag. Pathetic, you lot."
Eric continued addressing the men but in a way that seemed he was talking to himself.
"Now, where do I throw these fireballs in my hands?"
Well... let me test the range and attack speed of this fireball attack form.
He stepped over 24-Savage while moving toward the door. It had started raining and the wind was blowing in fiercely through the damaged doorway. Yet the fireballs continued with their consistent blow pattern, unaffected by the cold, fierce wind.
"Hiyaa!" Eric threw the fireball on his left hand first, then jumped a little before releasing the second one into the street. The two blazing fires lighted up the street as they flew with blinding speed. The first one thrown with his left dropped after a while, going a little past ten metres. The second, however, continued on into the dark street, until a far-off building stopped it. A loud explosive sound echoed in the street as the fire died down.
Uuh... My left-hand attack is so weak both in speed and range. I need to train myself, first on the range. But whoa, these fireballs sure deal a lot of damage, and a lot of noise also.
"Alright, now to find what's hidden from the eyes..."
Eric turned swiftly back into the room. All four men jumped in fright. Three of them were still trying to hide in the corners.
Gently sitting on the table, Eric closed his eyes and concentrated the image of the black backpack in his mind. A while after, a vision of 24-Savage hiding the bag in a space under the floorboards flashed in his memory. Eric opened his eyes instantly and, with a grin, jumped down from the table and bounded to the corner where he saw the backpack being hidden. With a yank, he separated a flat plank from the rest, and there it was — the bag.
Hehe! At this rate, there's nothing that can stay hidden from me. I have the eyes of a God. Not that I know what a God means... But yeah, I have the eyes of one.
[Warning: The danger of the clairvoyance ability increases with each usage.]
Don't be worried for me. I won't use it, as long as I don't get to search for something as important as Void's backpack anymore. But I don't mind if I have to go blind by using the clairvoyance ability a hundred times to find Void's bag of weapons.
"Alright, kidnappers. It's been a rough night for me. I have to get back to the facility where you sold me to. See, I'm actually grateful that you sold me there."
Stevo gasped slightly. G-Lock snickered. Phil sobbed. 24 was whimpering over his wound.
"For that reason, I have a gift for you two."
He brought two more plasma guns from his pockets and threw them to Stevo and G-Lock.
"Here, take. I don't wish you continue kidnapping special beings, but if you will, at least have something that can be threatening enough aside your fake mean looks."
"Sorry for frightening you two with my weak fireballs. You should blame 24-Savage for giving us all a hard time."
"And you, 24. I'll repeat what I said to you at the airfield. Get help, dammit!"
"Phil, bye. Be a good beast, boy."
All of them were left speechless as Eric said his goodbyes and walked out the door quietly.
"I'm also sorry about the door, but I overheard 24 say you'll be getting out of this shithole by morning, so I guess you won't be needing it after tonight."
Use Killer Dash
Just like that, Eric vanished before their eyes, and they were able to breathe fine again.
"24, after we've shared the money and we're out of here come morning, I don't want to see your bitch-ass face ever again, you dig?" Stevo said, grabbing his chest, which was beating fast.
"I second that, Stevo," said G-Lock. "Don't know why his grim ass done try to kill us many times and more. We gon' forget all these ever happened. I'm done, for real."
24-Savage grunted. Phil continued sobbing quietly.
