Jin grabs onto the ledge of the balcony. His fingers were numb and cold.
Jin pulls himself over and stands up, his clothes were all mangled with tears throughout them. His hair was a mess, falling into his eyes. His shoes are missing.
Jin walks forward, seeing two figures standing and pacing around each other in the room ahead.
Jin notices Sylph sitting on a couch, her head hung low.
"I… Will save her," Jin screams out, slamming into the glass door, shattering it into a million pieces.
Jin stumbles forward; his balance is slightly off.
"I don't need a blade to protect the light that saved me."
Two men stand in front of him. Both are wearing crowns and white robes. One of them looks like an older version of Jin. The other is an elf with long red hair, his eyes a light blue.
The man who looks like Jin steps forward, "I am King Moritan. I was wondering how long it would be before you made it."
The other man steps aside and sits next to Sylph.
"So, Mr. Jin, why don't you take a seat with King Earl?"
Jin grabs King Moritan, a scream leaving Jin as his hair rises with a surge of power through Jin.
King Moritan's face is struck with fear.
Jin slams his head into King Moritan's face, blood spewing out of their noses.
"You dare lock me away then mock me!"
"I had no choice but to lock you up, Kuroryu Jin!"
Jin throws King Moritan across the room. Moritan slowly rises, his body healing as he does so.
"DAMMIT, BOY! Didn't Sanzou teach you anything?"
Jin steps in front of King Moritan, and a determined and angry demeanor washes over Jin.
"How do you know my father's name?" Jin says in a demanding tone.
"Isn't it obvious? You're father is my son, and you're my grandson!"
Jin kicks Moritan.
"LIAR!"
"How could I lie? I will put my words on the entire kingdom."
"Doesn't sound like a good move for a King."
"Well, I need my grandson to understand who I am."
"So Mori and I are heirs to a throne we never knew?"
"Who's Mori?"
"Your other grandson, my father's second son."
Jin looks over to Sylph.
King Earl and Sylph stare at him in disbelief.
"Look, Jin, I have three grandkids. I have you, a granddaughter named Elisa, and a grandson named Charles."
"You also have a dead grandson named Kuroryu Mori!" Jin screams at him.
"If I have a grandson named Mori, I never met him, and he would be a filthy human half-breed!"
Anger boils through Jin.
"He wasn't filthy, you damn fool."
Moritan's face twitched not with shame, but with disgust.
Jin grabs Moritan, lifting him.
Moritan's robes drape just enough for Jin to see the same symbol he made for the Black Dragon Gang, which was later seen on the ruins.
Jin drops Moritan and collapses to the ground alongside him.
"How I made that symbol! I made it in prison!"
"This symbol is the Royal symbol, Jin."
Jin's body tremors slightly.
"Look, Jin, you are the product of your father and your aunt having an affair together."
Why?
"Your aunt was ashamed of it all, and I banished you and your father in anger for his actions."
How could a father do that?
"You were barely even a few months old when you two got banished."
Does that mean…
"That would mean this Mori you speak of would be a half-brother to you."
No, that can't be!
Jin places a hand on the ground.
"Do you know what I've all done, King?"
"I do not."
"I've killed thousands. I ruled the entirety of Shibuya's criminal underground like a king."
"Sounds fitting for your father."
"He never made it there. But my story doesn't end there! I killed Sanzou, Mori, and even my best friend. I killed them in cold blood in anger, greed, and thirst."
"What are you trying to say?"
Jin begins to cry.
"I killed so many because I thought that if I did, I would fit in and even find happiness."
Jin looks over to Sylph.
"I arrived in this world, and found a total stranger who watched me kill to survive and not see me as a monster."
King Earl stands and slaps Jin across the face.
"Do not say something so preposterous about my daughter, Princess Sylvara!" King Earl yells.
"Princess… a wonderful title for someone so passionate and caring."
The King looks confused at Jin before turning to King Moritan.
"Moritan, you said this boy was vicious, powerful, and wouldn't hesitate to kill."
"I honestly believed he would be that way. He must not retain the inherent feelings of hate."
"You wrong, King, I do have a burning flame of hate. It isn't towards anyone but myself."
"So you do hold the power of the Black Dragon? But your past reversed the hate? How interesting."
"I don't know what you're talking about, but the only Black Dragon I know is the gang I used to become a king."
King Moritan bends down in front of Jin, taking off his crown and placing it on Jin's head.
"You were just a puppet, weren't you?"
Jin looks down, eyes hollow. "That's exactly right. I was."
