Chapter 76 - Chapter 66: Stealth Mission – The Soft Voice That Kills

Part 1

Han Yue reported to the admin building at 5:40 p.m. Shadow 2 and Assistant Chen were already there, along with the rest of the mission team. At 6 p.m. sharp, everyone was geared up with equipment and weapons. Shadow 2 instructed them to board two cars designated for the mission. Han Yue sat in his car, taking the back seat.

As they drove, Shadow 2 used the comms to give a concise mission briefing. He explained the terrain: a mountain-side resort hotel near the coastal border. He then introduced the team:

Han Yue: Primary reconnaissance.

Liang: Technician, hacker, surveillance disablement.

Bo: Support and recovery.

Zhou: Mutant, demolition expert.

Wen: Mutant, stealth infiltration.

Shen: Medic.

Shadow 2: Team Leader.

It took 3 hours to reach the mountain terrain. They set up a temporary base at an abandoned factory near the target location. Liang booted up his laptop to hack into the hotel's surveillance and alarm systems. Meanwhile, Han Yue observed the surroundings, reporting any armed movements. Shadow 2 mapped her findings and assigned Zhou, Wen, and Bo to quietly subdue the identified guards. Five suspicious individuals were captured and interrogated. They were revealed to be guards and gang members from the Coastal Resort Base.

Liang successfully extracted CCTV footage and disabled all security systems. Han Yue confirmed that most people inside the base were asleep. With this, Shadow 2 led Han Yue, Zhou, and Wen to infiltrate. Bo, Liang, and Shen stayed behind to hold the temporary base.

Part 2

All four infiltrators wore night vision goggles, bulletproof vests, and black tactical gear. Shadow 2 boldly entered through the front gate. Han Yue reported two patrolling guards; Zhou and Wen swiftly knocked them out and restrained them. Shadow 2 ordered Bo and Shen to retrieve and secure the subdued men.

Inside the hotel, the team found empty rooms, others with women and children tied to beds, and some locked up in cramped rooms reeking of decay. Some were dead, others bleeding or gagged. Han Yue reported everything with a cold, steady expression—she'd seen worse in her past life.

They also discovered armed gang members asleep with victims in degrading conditions. Shadow 2 gave clear orders for the team to subdue everyone—criminals and victims alike—silently. Han Yue and Shadow 2 advanced to the top floor where the base leader was staying. Han Yue used her power to freeze four armed guards at the door in place, leaving only their eyes moving in terror.

Inside, they found the gang leader—naked and sleeping with two women. Zhou and Wen subdued all three. Han Yue then used her spiritual powers to detect a hidden compartment, which Bo was assigned to investigate. Meanwhile, Shadow 2 summoned Liang, Bo, and Shen back and notified backup forces.

Han Yue's final report revealed:

32 criminals.

98+ victims.

5 gang-affiliated prostitutes (identified by victims), raising the criminal count to 37.

Bo uncovered critical evidence in the hidden compartment: records of human trafficking, border deals, and detailed logs. Supplies and weapons were found in a room adjacent to the leader's.

Many victims shared tragic stories—betrayed, kidnapped, sold. The team showed little emotion but recorded their statements and gave food, water, and clothing. Han Yue gave candy to children. When some pointed out their abusers, she smiled coldly: "Don't worry, I'll take note and cut their third leg in the interrogation room, okay?" Shen shivered hearing her words. Even Shadow 2, listening quietly, decided to assign her to interrogation duty.

While waiting for backup, Han Yue collected all supplies from the resort. Meanwhile, the rest of the team drove through the area, broadcasting an announcement to remaining citizens: "Transport to Base J available at the nearby police station on Lantern Avenue within 3 hours."

The convoy from Dragon Peak Military Base arrived with three buses and several jeeps. The military would handle cleanup and victim transport. A military leader, Colonel Zhuang Wei, greeted Shadow 2, saluted, and accepted the mission report: "All subdued, no fatalities. Supplies and evidence collected. 230 civilians reported for transport."

Victims were organized by bus: one for criminals (restrained and gagged), one for victims, and one for Civilians. Children ran up to Han Yue saying, "Don't forget your promise to cut their third leg!" Soldiers overhearing this winced. Colonel Zhuang intervened: "Photos are fine, but don't share them online. Panic will spread." Han Yue agreed.

Colonel Zhuang introduced himself: " Earth-type. Han Yue only replied with her ability "Space-type." He nodded approvingly: "Good, saves time transporting supplies."

With the buses filled, Shadow 2's team departed for Dragon Peak Military Base to submit evidence and complete the mission.

Three hours later, at the base, the team submitted:

Digital files.

Name lists.

CCTV footage.

Witness testimonies.

Complete mapping of the resort.

Han Yue was escorted to logistics. With a wave of her hand, she emptied her space: Food, canned goods, guns, knives, bullets, clothes, beds, condoms, wine, beer, drugs, sheets, curtains, bed frames, chairs, tables, shampoo, cabinets, the front gate, reception desk—even a beach umbrella.

The logistics officer twitched: "She literally took the entire resort?!"

Back in the admin hall, the secretary—Liang Meiyu—asked how much Han Yue had brought. The logistics escort replied shakily: "The entire resort. It filled the whole hall." Then ran.

Liang Meiyu gave Han Yue a long look, then told Shadow 2, "Please rest in the lounge. Refreshments will be brought."

While waiting, Liang asked, "How much did you bring back? Just food and weapons, right?" Han Yue, sipping her drink, answered casually: "The mission said resources and supplies, so I took everything. Down to the last nail." Then bit a cookie.

Everyone fell silent. No wonder she was the last to return.

An hour later, logistics submitted four full pages of itemized inventory. Liang Meiyu, eye twitching, reviewed them, then finally nodded.

Mission Status: COMPLETED.

Part 3 – Vengeance Delivered

While waiting for the convoy, Shadow 2 informed Secretary Liang, "We'll be joining the interrogation of the key criminals—just keeping a promise to a few victims."

Liang nodded without hesitation. "No problem. I've received word they'll arrive in about 20 minutes."

Soon after, the convoy of three buses rolled in. Victims and civilians were registered. Civilians were sent to Base J, while victims—especially women and children—were taken to the hospital. The restrained criminals were transported to the jail sector for interrogation.

Inside the interrogation room, Han Yue walked in calmly, eyeing the strapped men. These were the ones the children had pointed out. On the other side of the two-way mirror, Shadow 2, his team, Colonel Zhuang, and even Commander Long observed silently, a recorder capturing everything.

Han Yue, sitting lazily in front of them, asked casually, "So, who wants to talk first?"

The men laughed cruelly, emboldened by her appearance. One sneered, "Let us out, and you'll be just like those sluts. Maybe we'll even sell you—"

Before he finished, Han Yue calmly pulled out a nail gun from her space and ran her fingers along it. Then, without warning, she shot all ten toes of every restrained man—one by one.

Screams echoed down the hallway like animals being butchered. Some begged for mercy. Some passed out from the pain—only to be jolted awake by the agony again. Others wept, cursed, or called for their mothers.

Behind the mirror, some soldiers gulped. "Cool," one whispered. "Wow… merciless," said another.

Commander Long, watching with mild amusement, thought, "My daughter-in-law is really something… Father will be proud."

Shadow 2 remained unreadable, but one eyebrow lifted slightly.

Han Yue leaned back and said coldly, "Shut up. Or else—"

Before she could finish, they all went silent, trembling, eyes wide with fear.

Then she questioned them, one by one. They answered immediately, no nonsense, no begging.

Some admitted to abusing children and women.

Others confessed to kidnapping, selling victims across borders.

One said they'd killed a police officer.

Another revealed arms deals at the coastal border—guns traded for women and children.

One stated clearly: "Fifty victims for twenty guns and ammo. Next deal's in a month."

Some described how they disposed of bodies—burned and dumped into the sea as fish food.

After collecting confessions, Han Yue silently drew a machete and pulled out her phone. She hit record. Smiling gently—though her eyes stayed cold—she spoke sweetly:

"I made a promise to the children you abused. Don't worry—you won't die."

Then she calmly sliced off their third legs.

Screams erupted again. Cries of agony filled the jail, echoing into the holding cells. Criminals elsewhere shook in terror, unsure of what inhuman punishment was happening behind the locked door.

Behind the mirror, Shadow 2's team froze. Someone crossed their legs and muttered, "Never piss off that woman…"

Even Colonel Zhuang was speechless, though impressed. "Ruthless. Efficient. Ten minutes, and we've got it all. Let's bring her back for interrogations more often."

The guards nearby twitched at his casual tone.

Han Yue finished the recording, calmly wiped her hands with a wet towel, and exited.

Outside, Shadow 2 and the others met up with her. They headed to the hospital first. It was nearly dawn—time for rest after a long mission.

At the hospital, Han Yue asked for the children's ward. When she arrived, some kids were getting blood drawn while others waited.

The moment they saw her, their eyes lit up."Sister! Did you cut their third legs off!?"

Gasps erupted from nearby nurses and doctors. Han Yue smiled.

"Yes. I even used a nail gun on their toes."

The kids cheered, clapping. "Wooo! Sister's amazing!"

She chuckled and pulled out her phone. "Want to see it?"

The kids rushed over. The two-minute clip showed everything—screams, blood, slicing steel. The children didn't flinch. Some teared up—not from fear, but relief."Thank you for getting revenge," one whispered.

Han Yue gently patted their heads. "Get stronger. So no one can ever bully you again."

They nodded, eyes still red but now filled with something new—determination.

Shadow 2, standing nearby, observed in silence. Not even a flicker of fear? he thought. They've seen horror—and still want strength.

He stepped forward and said simply, "Those with nowhere to go… and who want to get strong—come with me."

Silence. Then, twenty children stepped forward, eyes unwavering. These were kids who'd been betrayed, sold, orphaned—but now, they wanted a future.

Han Yue raised an eyebrow, amused. So he's recruiting them? Not bad. Strong batch.

Shadow 2 nodded. "We leave now. You'll be treated at the base."

He showed the doctor and guards his black government ID. No one questioned it.

They returned to their cars. Han Yue summoned a mini-bus from her space for the children. An hour later, they arrived at Commander Long's private train station. It was faster to travel directly to the training site this way.

Once the train arrived, the kids stared in awe. "COOL!!"

After reaching the Training Site, Shadow 2 informed Assistant Chen about the new recruits and left the rest to him.

Everyone returned to their dorms.

Han Yue, too tired to head home, went straight to her room, showered, and flopped onto the bed.
