"That's the spirit. That's some progress right there. Hah, well done, me."
Heney was grinning from ear to ear. Joy spread all across his face. It seemed that the goal which once seemed unfathomable wasn't too difficult. Still though, he would continue finding newer ways to improve his awakening efficiency.
It was already lunchtime and Henry was feeling especially hungry. The awakening had left him exhausted. Not to mention the meditation which he started simulateously.
His stomach was growling.
"Quite an appetite I have. Let's see how luxurious the meal I've missed for so long tastes like."
He got up and looked at himself in the mirror. There was swest dripping down his body. The awakening was quite heavy on the body it seemed.
"I'll need to rest myself well. I can't overexert myself and ruin the second chance which I've been given."
Henry slowly changed into proper clothing and being satisfied with his appearance, he left the room quietly.
Going down the familiar stairs, he reached the dining hall. Sitting on one of the chairs waiting for his parents.
In the dining hall, Henry cut the tender meat that lay on his plate. His parents had already arrived, sitting for lunch with him.
Henry really cherished this moment. It had been quite long since he had such a nice and cozy lunch, after all. Glazed with honey, the meat's reddish sight filled his eyes with a gourmet anticipation.
His mouth became watery and his growl was becoming louder. He slowly brought the meat to his mouth.
The taste was heavenly making him shut his eyes to savour the delicacy. A smile involuntarily appeared in his face.
Looking at this sight, the beautiful blonde woman sitting across Henry chuckled. Her light blue eyes shimmered with joy as she saw her son eating.
She couldn't help but remind him of basic etiquette. Just for the sake of teasing him, ofcourse.
"Manners Henry," she smiled.
"Cut him some slack. Edmund told me he worked especially hard today. Is that right, Henry?"
Henry had already become alert by now. He was even a bit embarassed. Wiping his mouth, he replied, "Yes, father. I tried the natural awakening method. I found exercising my muscles more useful though."
Cascius lightly nodded. The man's entire demeanor being no less than a decoration to the magnificent dining table.
He said, "Good. But don't think that exercising is just good for your muscles. When our ancestors awakened their cores, exercise was often what constituted the most of their day."
Henry blinked his eyes. Suprise apparent in his face.
"Does that mean I can accumulate Spirit Energy while I'm working out as well? Oh wait, I did get some Spirit Energy when I was running. I thought that was just due to awakening."
He smiled, and thanked his father. His lips moving to bite on another piece of meat.
Inwardly though, he was somewhere else.
"Father, oh father. If you tell me everything I need, you'll only rekindle the familial love in me. Is that what you want? Your enemies are alive and breathing father. I'll be a true good son after I'm done with them. Stay well until then."
Henry smiled, which prompted his mother to say, "I hope you haven't forgotten already. You're departing tomorrow morning. The Academy is quite far. The sooner you leave the more you're likely to arrive on time. Keep that in mind."
"Don't worry, mother. I'll make your proud."

"Another piece of information, heh. The sun is still up, I should take a nap. Might as well see if sleeping gives Spirit Energy too."
Henry took out the luxurious clothing he was wearing, becoming naked yet again.
He would take a small nap. He had to continue accumulating after all. There was still a lot of Spirit Energy left to accumulate.
He threw the clothes on his bed, jumping upon the comfortable bearing. The 40 years of his past life has already washed away all signs of royal etiquette which his family instilled in him.
He did not ever time to care about such things. He was too busy surviving. Changing from one place to another. Hiding his identity and hoping not to get caught.
This was why the comfort of his bed made him wistful right now. He gave a sigh and cleared his mind.
"So Spirit Breathing again, huh?"
He sat up straight, legs crossed and started meditating. As his focus intensified, he turned to accumulating. That was much easier after all. Maintaining this state, he slowly leaned on his bed, making sure that his focus did not waver.
He felt the soft fabric caress his skin. The soft mattress enveloping him a soft embrace afterwards. He let his thoughts drift.
Different scenes entered his minds. Pulling him into dreams slowly and steadily. He maintained his state of accumulation through it all though.
A smile appeared on his lips, a consequence of a sweet dream he was pulled into. Perhaps he had been looking at a pretty woman right now.
His breathing had become calm, a further indication of the peaceful sleep the boy was in.
Time passed and more and more dreams lulled him. The sounds of the guards training outside, the birds chirping, the smell of grass, the freshness of air. All entered his room, shaping his dreams one after another.
Henry turned his head, his eyes switched. His neck was a bit stiff and so, he stretched it from side to side.
Yawning, he stretched his whole body, sitting up soon after. He felt refreshed. Even though he was awake, the scenes from his dreams still persisted in his mind.
Be took a deep breath through his nose. Pushing it out swiftly through his mouth. His mind cleared up.
"Now that was a good sleep. Well let's get to work then shall we. But first, let's see."
Ding!
The now familiar screen popped up. It's blue color only washing away the drowsiness Henry carried.
