After the ninjas left, Kagami immediately decided to find a place far from Konoha to subdue the rest of his shikigami. With his current strength, he could tame them all at once; there was no need to waste time. He also wanted to see just how powerful the Ten Shadows' ultimate shikigami, Mahoraga, would be after a tenfold amplification.
First, however, he needed to speak with Suzune and the others. After a brief explanation, he expanded his senses, planning to use the Flying Thunder God to teleport far away. To his surprise, he found that his sensory range had increased by more than ten times. After a moment of daze, he realized it must have been a result of his brain's development during the "Overclocking Mode."
Without further delay, Kagami teleported to a vast, open plain far from the village. The taming ritual required a neutral, open space, and this was perfect. As he made the taming gesture and chanted the incantation for Rabbit Escape, a huge summoning circle appeared at his feet. With a series of roaring sounds, a colossal rabbit materialized—one of the shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique.
The rabbit immediately charged, its huge body carving massive craters in the ground. Kagami simply flashed onto its head and delivered a single punch. The shikigami vanished before it could even scream. Without stopping, Kagami continued to tame the other shikigami: Nue, Max Elephant, Great Serpent... one by one, they were summoned and then swiftly subdued. Even with their power amplified tenfold, they couldn't last long against him.
Soon, he had tamed all the shikigami except for Mahoraga. He felt no fatigue, only a growing excitement. Now came the last, and most powerful, of the Ten Shadows. Without hesitation, he recited the final taming incantation.
"With this treasure, I summon..."
As he moved, the summoning circle under his feet lit up again, followed by a deafening roar. In the sky, dark clouds gathered at an unimaginable speed, forming a massive black vortex that threatened to pull everything in. At its core, a bottomless rift slowly opened, and a dark aura powerful enough to crush stars erupted like a tsunami. This aura was like a materialized natural disaster, twisting and deforming the very space it touched.
The figure of Mahoraga slowly emerged from the dark crack. Its body was like a colossal pillar supporting the sky, so towering and majestic it seemed to pierce the heavens. Its entire form was covered in scales as hard as diamonds, each one glinting with a bone-chilling light. It looked as if it were formed from eons of condensed darkness and pure evil, indestructible and containing a power sufficient to destroy the world.
Its eyes were like two burning green will-o'-wisps, deep and icy cold—a cold that could freeze the soul and extinguish all life. To be glanced at by those eyes was to be instantly dragged into an endless hell. Its limbs were as thick as the pillars of ancient gods, each claw like a giant sickle forged from dark divine iron, capable of tearing through the barriers of space itself.
Mahoraga slowly stepped out of the rift. With every step, the earth shook violently, crying out as if it could not bear the weight. The oppressive feeling it emanated was like a tangible ocean of darkness, sweeping out with unstoppable momentum.
"So this is the Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General, Mahoraga, after a tenfold amplification? This power is truly... incredible." Looking at the demonic figure, a hint of excitement flashed in Kagami's eyes. He had known it would be powerful, but he hadn't expected it to be able to influence the heavens themselves. The stronger Mahoraga was, the better. No matter how powerful it was, it could never be a match for him, who had already integrated five powerful templates.
As Kagami was marveling at its power, Mahoraga spotted him. Without the slightest hesitation, it raised its right arm, brandishing a massive Sword of Extermination, and slashed toward Kagami with blinding speed.
Kagami simply smiled, flashed to Mahoraga's side, and delivered a powerful kick to its body. With a deafening roar, Mahoraga's huge form was sent flying like a ball, smashing into the ground and creating a massive crater.
"Interesting, but still not good enough," Kagami said with a faint smile, looking at the creature in the pit. He didn't pursue, wanting to test Mahoraga's true strength. With a quick series of hand seals, he prepared to use the Ten Shadows Technique to fuse his other shikigami into a new, powerful beast to test the Divine General. After the tenfold amplification, not only could he merge two shikigami, but he could also combine all of them into one, their powers superimposing on each other.
