"Alice got taken!" Momo wails.
"Calm down, it's the plan," Midori says.
"Hold on, Alice, we'll save you!" Yuzu adds.
"One hit… but the first trap worked," Hare notes.
The plan: Alice and Veritas distract while Mash's team storms Seminar for Mirror.
"So far, so good. Sensei, ready?" Momo asks.
"Bring it," Mash says, juggling his iron staff.
"Good," Momo nods.
"For Alice's sacrifice!" Midori says.
"No one's dead, sis!" Momo snaps.
"Mash's party… to Seminar dungeon!" Mash raises his staff.
"Go!!" they shout.
"More tension, please!" Midori groans.
Momo and Mash's nonchalance eases Midori's nerves.
They charge into Seminar.
Seminar Interior
Minutes in, Hare contacts Midori's device.
"Sensei, sis, Hare-senpai says they trapped Akane!" Midori reports.
"Fingerprint system hacked," Hare confirms.
Maki from Veritas and Kotori from Engineer Club baited Akane into a trap. Veritas hacked the fingerprint system during Alice's initial assault, letting Mash's team move freely.
"Student council's stuck. We're the only ones mobile!" Momo says.
"Engineer Club's security, slightly weaker than usual, worked perfectly," Hare adds.
"They didn't suspect it was Engineer Club. Nice touch!" Midori grins.
"Let's go in bold," Mash says.
They advance, but robots—flying and walking—swarm to stop them.
"More robots!" Momo shouts.
"I'll clear a path," Mash says.
"Okay!" Yuzu nods.
Mash dashes forward.
Zwoosh!
He slides, scattering robots.
Grab! He snatches a flying bot, hurling it at others. Seminar's robots are nothing to him.
"Done!" Mash calls.
"Thank you, Sensei! We can fight now!" Momo cheers.
"I'll carry you. Save ammo unless I'm in trouble," Mash says.
"Got it!" Midori nods.
"Unlikely, but okay," Momo adds.
Mash tucks them under his arms, speeding toward the goal—faster and stamina-saving.
"Where's the other maids if Akane's trapped?" Midori wonders.
"No clue… rather not meet them," Momo says.
"Stairs ahead. Zip lips," Mash warns.
"Roger!" they whisper.
As Mash climbs, a figure watches.
"That's Schale's Sensei? That mushroom-haired guy catches bullets? Let's test him," Karin, a dark-skinned maid, muses, sniper rifle ready.
"We'll walk from here. Don't want to burden you," Midori says.
"No biggie," Mash replies.
"Here, sis. Open the shutter," Midori points.
"On it!" Momo sings, scanning her fingerprint.
Click! The shutter opens, but—
Grab! "Mgya!?" "Whoa!?" Momo and Midori yelp.
BOOM!
A bullet shatters a window, embedding in the wall—not anti-personnel, but anti-material.
"What was that!?" Momo shrieks.
"Sniper bullets that strong?" Midori asks.
"Anti-material round," Yuzu says.
"How bad?" Momo asks.
"Without a halo, it'd crush bones and mince flesh," Yuzu explains.
"Yikes!" Momo gasps.
"But Sensei can catch bullets, right? We're safe—" Momo starts.
BOOM!
"Eek!?" Momo squeaks.
"Think, sis! Robots used anti-personnel rounds. These are way stronger!" Midori says.
"We can't stay like this," Mash says.
"Don't stand!" Yuzu warns.
"Hide. I'll draw fire," Mash orders.
Mash conceals them and steps out.
Anti-material rounds would pulverize a normal human, shattering bones and flesh, as Midori said.
Is he taking it head-on? I missed on purpose as a warning… Karin, the sniper maid, thinks, baffled by Mash's boldness.
Akane's tales sounded like lies, so Karin tests him, aiming at his leg. She hesitates, fearing she'll kill him if wrong.
"Leg shot," Karin decides, counting. Three, two, one!
BANG!
The bullet rockets toward Mash's leg. Karin's heart pounds, dreading she's gone too far.
What…!? She peers through her scope.
"Leg's targeted," Mash mutters, tensing his leg, timing it.
"Hup!" He kicks the bullet back.
Whoosh!
Kicked it back!? That speed… impossible! Kicking it at all is absurd! Karin gapes.
Mash's shoe is shredded, but his leg's barely scratched—no broken bones or torn flesh.
"Hm, stings more than deflecting a shell with my fist," Mash muses.
"That's not normal!" Midori shouts.
"Did you say shell with your fist!?" Momo gasps.
"It came from that way," Mash says, eyeing the direction.
He ditches his ruined shoes, thinking.
"Kicking's slower than catching, but it'll punch holes in walls… Tool time," Mash decides.
He's reaching… that staff? Iron? Karin wonders.
Mash pulls out Proteus. Throwing it?
Creak! Mash stretches it.
Iron… stretched? Karin blinks.
Crack! He bends it.
No way… Karin gasps.
Thud! "A glove!?" Karin exclaims, stunned.
Iron reshaped into a glove—Engineer Club's terrifying work. Its mass somehow increased.
"Why a glove!?" Karin mutters, shaken.
Mash's pace rattles her, but she refocuses, aiming at his arm, now unafraid since he survived.
Arm shot—
Catch!
Chest!BANG!Catch!
Stomach!BANG!Catch!
Face!BANG!Catch!
Thigh!BANG!Catch!
"Why can he catch them!?" Karin yells.
Mash grabs every bullet with the glove, effortlessly blocking tough shots.
"He's catching bullets too fast to track, without breaking a sweat—Midori, record this!" Momo urges.
"Now!?" Midori snaps.
"Game material!" Momo sparkles.
"Not the time!" Midori retorts.
"Straight shots are easy," Mash says.
I can't hurt him… Target the twins! Karin shifts aim.
Mash pinches a caught bullet.
"Shoulder Magic," he says.
Throwing it!? Karin panics.
"Missile Throwing!" WHOOSH!
Mash hurls the bullet like a fastball, smashing Karin's rifle, Hawkeye.
"Akane was right… that's impossible. What's that weapon?" Karin mutters.
"Our invention, Iron Staff: Proteus," Utaha says, appearing with her invention, Thunder-chan, aimed at Karin.
"You waited for the fight to end, didn't you?" Karin accuses.
"Guilty. Got great Proteus data," Utaha grins.
"Annoying," Karin grumbles.
Mash's team learns via comms that Karin's down.
"It was Karin-senpai… With Sensei, no one can beat us!" Momo cheers.
"Let's move. Sensei, again!" Midori says.
"Sure," Mash replies, carrying them forward.
Thoughts
Tough to write!! Why the staff over bare hands? Seemed fun! No regrets!

Mashle x Blue Archive Pairings
Mashle and Blue Archive characters are quirky, making pairings tricky but fun. Lance seeing the Saiba sisters as his sister, becoming a siscon? Spot-on.
Mash x Alice: Both pure-hearted weirdos. Mash's musclehead logic and Alice's RPG obsession would vibe, creating chaos with Supernova and Proteus.
Lance x Momo/Midori: Lance's siscon nature fits the Saiba twins' dynamic. He'd dote on Midori, clash with Momo's antics, but bond over loyalty.
Finn x Yuzu: Quiet, anxious types. Finn's kindness would ease Yuzu's nerves, and they'd hide in clubrooms together, avoiding chaos.
Dot x Hina: Dot's loud bravado meets Hina's stoic discipline. She'd scare him, but he'd admire her strength, sparking funny banter.
Rayne x Neru: Both are battle maniacs. Rayne's calm strategy and Neru's aggression would make a terrifying duo, wrecking everything.
Quirks make them click or clash hilariously. Who'd you pair?
