Chapter 246 - The cost of a blabbering mouth.

There was a bit of silence, both from Isak and his sister, as they wanted to be sure they heard Dorian right.

Blinking continuously like children trying to understand a new word, Isak spoke, his eyebrow twitching in shock.

"Did you just say… you worked for three days straight? Each day twenty-four hours?"

"Did I stutter?" Dorian slightly tilted his head to the side, looking at them as though what he said was the most normal thing in the entire world.

"Don't look at me like I have gone mad! Are you using some kind of spell or what? How is it possible for people to work three days straight without getting even a wink of sleep?" Isak yelled, now once again pointing directly at Dorian.

"I don't know. You tell me." Dorian shrugged his shoulders.

This made Isak fume even more. It made no sense. That was the first time he was hearing of anyone being capable of working three days straight. Humans, no less.

Then Maria chimed in.
