"Sign a contract?" Isak seemed afraid just having to ask that question.
"Yes, just a simple contract to make sure he doesn't go haywire and attack me when I least expect it."
Dorian moved the Prince closer.
"I already have the contract down if that is what you're worried about. All it contains is that your father will not raise a single finger against me; that is all. Sounds reasonable enough, doesn't it?"
"I-I guess so."
"I mean, you already know my secret. You know I am the Dragon Monarch. So it's really either I kill you and your entire family, or you do this so it can be legal."
With his face pale with fear, Isak nodded several times, hinting that he was willing to do everything Dorian had just told him.
"Very good. You're actually pretty reasonable."
Dorian then reached into his pockets and pulled out the contract.
He had already planned to visit the King anyway and have him sign it; this was just a good, less stressful way for him.
