Rael stood in front of a rusted warehouse near Dockside District. Armed guards stood at the entrance. Fancy cars rolled in. Everyone wore black suits or expensive dresses, hiding knives and secrets under their smiles.
Next to him, Ash adjusted her mask. "You ready?"
Rael nodded. He wore a sleek black blazer, bought just hours ago from the Shadow Shop. With the Disguise Mod (Lv. 1), his face now looked sharper, more mature—unrecognizable from before.

They walked toward the guards.
Ash showed a black card. The guard scanned it, paused, then nodded. "Welcome to the Ember Auction."
They stepped inside.
The air was thick with cigar smoke, perfume, and tension.On stage, a woman in a red dress smiled at a crowd of criminals, brokers, and rich thugs.
"Next item!" she called. "A pureblood tiger fang. Starting bid—30,000 credits!"
Rael followed Ash through the crowd. No one noticed them. Everyone was focused on the auction, shouting bids, raising glasses, laughing.

Rael glanced up. A glass room above the floor. A man in a silver suit leaned on the rail, drink in hand. Cold smile. Slick hair.
"That's our guy," Rael whispered.
Ash nodded. "Vault's beneath that room. Guarded. Coded. Trapped."
"So what's the plan?"
She grinned. "You distract. I unlock."
Ten minutes later, Rael was at the bar. He "accidentally" bumped into one of Victor's men and spilled his drink.
"Watch it, punk!" the man shouted.
Rael raised a brow. "Your suit's fake. So's your credit chip. You even real?"
The man lunged. Just as planned.
Guards turned. Voices rose.
Up above, Victor frowned and stepped away from the rail.
Down below, Ash slipped through a side door unnoticed.

Ash moved like smoke, gliding through laser traps and code locks. Her fingers danced across a control panel.
