Whether it's Sakura or Ino, they are the top beautiful girls in their class... …

Unlike herself, she doesn't just look like a tomboy; she also has a pair of white eyes that are often disliked as monstrous.

Hinata felt inferior in her heart while curiously wondering who Ying-kun would like with so many beautiful girls in their class?

Of course, it's not her anyway.

However, just as she was thinking this, Hinata suddenly heard Iruka's voice again.

  "Next, Hinata Hyuga!"

Did I just get called to face uchiha ying ?

Hinata stood up from the grass, a bit stunned.

Not far away, uchiha ying , who had walked to the center of the venue, looked at her with a smile.

He was smiling at me—could it be…

Because he finally found an opportunity to beat me up... …

Isn't that why he's so happy?

The more she thought about it, the more distressed her heart became.

If that would really make him happy, then… letting him beat her didn't sound that bad.

But wait… if I lose to Yu Zhibo again, what would Father think? What would the clan think... …

Thinking about how disappointed her father would be if she suffered another devastating defeat at her age…

Hinata couldn't help tightening her grip.

Even if she doesn't have great talent, she practices diligently every day just to protect her younger sister, to reassure her father, and to avoid more whispers from the clan.

  "Please… give me guidance!"

She opened her white eyes and assumed the posture of a gentle fist.

This time, Hinata finally dared to look directly at the young man in front of her.

Disheveled yet strikingly handsome black hair, a face that smiled like the breeze of spring, lips red and teeth white…

  So dazzling. So perfect.

Her breath hitched. Her heart fluttered wildly.

She had seen him every day, but never like this—so up close, so focused, so undeniably… breathtaking.

Her legs instinctively closed, her fingers nervously tugging at her sleeves.

  She wanted to look away.

  But she couldn't.

Her eyes trembled as they followed every line of his face. His gaze wasn't sharp, but gentle—too gentle.

  She could hardly bear it.

"Ah—no way, what am I even thinking!?"

She cursed herself inwardly and lowered her eyes, cheeks flushed red.

——

"Ninja battle drill, Group Two, begin!"

Iruka saw the two people standing in the center of the venue, sealing their confrontation, jotting something in his notebook before shouting to start.

Pairing Naruto and Sasuke, then Hinata and Ying, all of it had meaning behind it.

The goal: to test the growth of the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki, the Hyuga heiress… and Ying.

"Surely Sasuke is more skilled. Ying can only match him in weapon throws," Sakura muttered, arms crossed.

Seeing the usually quiet Hinata facing off against the mysterious and aloof Ying, Sakura couldn't help but whisper smugly to Ino.

Since both girls had a crush on boys, they competed endlessly over it.

"Ying is handsome, sure, but his ninjutsu talent is weak," Ino replied with a sniff. "If not for that face, he wouldn't compare to my Sasuke-kun."

The other Sasuke-loving girls joined in, stomping on Ying's reputation.

"Doesn't matter," Ino grinned. "My Ying-kun just needs to be gentle and hot."

Though she acted calm, her heart seethed. She'd already cursed Sakura dozens of times in her head.

And yet she also felt worried—Hinata's gentle fists were truly fierce.

  Would he be hurt?

"Hmph, Yu Zhibo are all stinkers. Serves you right," Naruto huffed, glancing at Ying who still looked too calm—even after getting smacked.

"Still better than your crane tail," Sasuke muttered coldly.

He watched Ying carefully. Something felt off. Ying shouldn't be this weak.

We'll train more tonight, he thought.

——

"Hinata this time, huh?" Ying smiled faintly.

Great. If he could get her ninja fragment, maybe… he could open his Sharingan again?

Based on the chakra feel he got from Naruto and Sasuke's fragments, it seemed likely.

White Eye wasn't powerful later in the series, but in the early stages? Extremely useful.

  Besides, maybe it could evolve…

Ying stared at the shy girl charging toward him like a storm wrapped in petals.

Especially her chest—it was like a hidden treasure bouncing toward him.

She had to burst and drop the loot!

  "Please be gentle!"

He calmed his thoughts, forced the thirst out of his mind, and entered battle focus.

  "Soft Fist Style!"

  "Eight Trigrams—Sixteen Palms… Thirty-Two Palms!"

Hinata launched a barrage of attacks.

Ying retreated, dodging again and again, evading her graceful but deadly strikes.

"Excellent form. But a bit rigid."

He spotted an opening, used his elbow to deflect her wrist, breaking the rhythm of her gentle fist technique.

He knew all too well—Soft Fist wasn't just taijutsu. It aimed to seal your chakra by attacking your internal flow.

That's why Hinata's strikes hurt so much.

But knowing the style helped immensely.

If he could interrupt the fingers before they hit his meridians, he could disarm it entirely.

And that's exactly what he did.

"Still, all I need is the fragment."

He glanced at her fingertips. Calloused, bruised—clearly hardened by endless hours of practice.

It made his heart ache a little.

  Then—finally—the ninja fragment dropped.

"Huh? This one landed on her chest?"

Last time, Naruto's had just fallen to the ground. But Hinata's was… embedded in her chest?

  He stared.

  Then grinned.

"Alright… I guess I'll go pick it up."

  He advanced.

  He reached forward.

He pressed the seal directly onto her chest.

  "Kyaah!"

Hinata squealed and reflexively blasted him away with a chakra-loaded palm strike.

  CRACK!

Ying slammed into the tree behind him, fell to the ground coughing dust and blood.

"Whew... Soft Fist really packs a punch. I surrender."

Even as his vision swam, he smiled.

  He'd gotten the fragment.

  And her softness…

  Was truly worth the bruises.
