The curse will come for you. As it came for your father. As it will come for your son. The Blackwood curse is eternal and of the most terrible kind.
Her voice, hushed and haunting, tortured his thoughts. Sparking his anger with each word.
How dare she!
She broke the bounds of her punishment. She invaded his ascension ritual. As if that wasn't enough, she called him cursed. Cursed bloodline. In front of all the members of the pack.
Tyler growled, pounding the nearest tree into splinters with a thundering clap. The collapse of branches and shredding of trunk behind his power sent thrill up his veins. It endured mere seconds before the rage returned.
That witching bitch!
Another tree, this time a much thicker oak, hit the earth in smithereens, a short stump left standing where it had been.
"At this rate we won't have a tree left in these woods." Kiera, mocking yet in a subtle way.
Tyler inhaled deep, trying to rein in his irritation. "Where is she?"
