Chapter 16 - Rumble Man

"It seems that Kakashi is still too young… he doubted his own strength the moment things went wrong Aiss… he completely denied his efforts himself."

A quiet voice murmured from behind a thick trunk of a tree, cloaked in dense foliage. Hidden within the shadows, a blond-haired youth watched the clearing ahead with narrowed eyes. His expression was calm, but the faint arc of electricity crackling between his fingers betrayed the power coursing just beneath his skin.

This wasn't just any observer.

This was the shadow clone of Minato Namikaze, who now silently protected the children from behind the scenes.

"The death of the White Fang… hit him too hard."

Wukunowa's voice carried no mockery, only calm understanding. His electric-blue gaze—now laced with faint lightning streaks due to his partial synchronization—remained fixed on Kakashi.

From the moment he separated from his main body, this clone had tracked every step of Kakashi's mission.

And he had seen everything.

Kakashi's Chidori… was brilliant.

But also flawed.

Wukunowa's mind, enhanced by the Goro Goro no Mi, processed every detail at lightning speed. The jutsu's flaw wasn't in execution—it was in perception. Kakashi's natural eyes couldn't track fast-moving targets. At that speed, it was like thrusting a spear blindfolded.

"He created something incredible… but lacks the vision to wield it perfectly. Not without Sharingan."

The clone sighed, suppressing the flicker of voltage crawling across his skin. He didn't step forward. He didn't interfere.

Not yet.

When Rin was taken, even then, Wukunowa did not move. His trust in the original timeline—and in the strength of these children—held him back.

"Let's see… Obito, what will you do or say here ?"

A faint smile played on his lips.

"This is it… Kakashi . The moment that changes both their lives."

He watched, utterly still, while the tension between the two young ninja escalated. The familiar clash of ideals was unfolding, just like he remembered:

Kakashi—strict, rule-bound, shaped by grief.

Obito—hot-blooded, impulsive, but with a heart of fire.

Their voices rose—shouting, accusing, clashing not just as comrades, but as fractured pieces of the same broken shinobi world.

When Kakashi turned away, the shadow clone closed his eyes shaking his head briefly.

Staring ahead without blinking, the shadow doppelganger concealed within the foliage observed a familiar scene unfold — one etched deeply into the original timeline.

In a forest clearing not far away, voices rose in argument. Kakashi and Obito stood face-to-face, their expressions tense, eyes blazing with conflicting ideals. The tension between them wasn't just about a mission — it was about loyalty, trauma, and the fragile bonds that defined what it meant to be a shinobi.

Rin Nohara had been captured.

Kakashi, cold and resolute, insisted they press forward with the mission — a reflection of the harsh lessons drilled into him by the tragedy of his past. Obito, by contrast, burned with impulsive defiance. He was unwilling to abandon a comrade, especially not Rin. His fists clenched, his voice cracked with passion, and his words rang with the conviction of someone who valued people above duty.

"You only care about the mission because of your father's death!" Obito snapped, the accusation cutting deep.

Kakashi flinched, but didn't respond. White Fang lingered in his mind — the shame, the whispers of betrayal, the cold stares of villagers and comrades alike. His father had been broken by the very people he saved, crushed by their scorn. Kakashi had vowed never to make the same mistake. He would follow the rules. He would never let emotions dictate his duty.

Obito, however, was different — reckless, fiery, and deeply loyal. Much like Naruto would be in the future, he believed that bonds were worth more than rules.

Seeing that words wouldn't sway Kakashi, Obito's eyes dimmed with disappointment. "If you won't help… I'll go alone."I don't need anyone's help to protect my loved ones.

Kakashi's jaw tightened. His instincts screamed at him to stop Obito — but the weight of his father's legacy held him in place. He turned away, walking back toward the mission path without a word.

"Good luck," he murmured under his breath, the words hollow and uncertain.

Obito watched his teammate's back recede into the trees, frustration and disbelief swirling in his chest. He knew the odds. Without Kakashi, the rescue was near impossible. But giving up wasn't an option.

With a deep, shuddering breath, Obito shouted after him, voice raw and defiant, "Kakashi! Maybe you don't understand… but I'll say it anyway!"

"Kakashi, although I know what happened to you, I want to tell you!!!!"

Obito's voice cracked, desperate but defiant.

"I can forgive People who break the rules of the ninja world… but I will kill any of those who don't value their comrades !!!"I love rin more than the world if she in danger I will sacrifice myself for it I don't ask you to help or save her but so you know if there's a Choice between duty or comrade ,I will choose my comrade than any.

The moment echoed.

The shadow clone's breath hitched—not in shock, but something deeper.

Suddenly—

Ding!

"Hahahahahahahahah So… that's how this system works," Wukunowa whispered.

At that moment, it wasn't just Obito's words that resonated—it was his heart, defiant against everything the world told him to accept.

Wukunowa's chakra flared faintly, hidden beneath the whisper of thunder in the trees. His senses stretched—he could feel chakra patterns moving across the forest. Enemies hiding. Traps forming. Even Rin's faint, fearful pulse in the distance.

"Observation Haki… Fully unlocked. All because of him."

His hands slowly clenched at his sides.

"You're right, Obito. What is world when you live without your loved one hahah one of the greatest anti hero of all time.

And as Obito vanished into the woods in pursuit of Rin, the clone smiled.

Not yet interfering.
