Eighteen years ago, the Blood Creek Pack was attacked by a neighboring pack and lost half the lives of its members.

 

Xavier, the current Alpha of Blood Creek Pack, was six years old when this attack took place. He lost his family and close friends along with his best friend, Daphne, who he thinks died in the attack.

 

What happened when he goes back for revenge and finds out that Daphne is still very much alive? Also, she happens to be his mate and he just killed her adoptive father.

I had returned to the pack house from seeing Frank. After giving his worried wife a chance to believe that her husband could still be saved, I had to set out for the journey ahead.


I was already inside the building where my men were waiting for me, together whfh Kyle and the elder's daughter who was going to get the plant for us. 


Kyle had asked that I give my instruction on when the men would leave and I was about to do that when I saw Zara. She stood behind Kyle and was watching everything happening quietly.


Everyone else present there had greeted me but, their greetings fell at the back of my ears because my attention was on her. Why was she here? I didn't want her to be here?


"Zara?" I called her name while I slowly took a step closer towards them. 


"W.. why are you here?" I asked as I didn't expect her to be with my Beta. Why hadn't Kyle stopped her from following him? I thought, turning my gaze back from Kyle to Zara.
