Chapter 4: Paramecia: The Power of the Toki-Toki no Mi

Kael comforted his new Queen, Sally. She was a woman who was somewhat naive and weak despite her royal status. He decided not to continue the conversation about Garp, instead focusing on how to make his Goa Kingdom bigger and stronger.

The kingdom was prosperous, and paying the celestial tribute was not a problem. However, Kael felt an inherent pressure to fulfill the "basic main quest" of every transmigrator: to overthrow Imu and the Gorosei.

Having taken the shortcut to power through the Goa Kingdom, Kael had to carefully consider his next steps. He envisioned a "dialectical overthrow" of the Celestial Dragons—a push from all sides. He would pay the celestial tribute for a few years, then find an opportunity to reclaim it all at once.

His mind raced with a bold idea: what if he became a Celestial Dragon himself, then used his power to banish Imu far into the future, usurping his position? By the time Imu "returned," Kael would have become immeasurably stronger, having already usurped a throne and, eventually, the world.

Of course, this plan depended on his ability to develop his Devil Fruit power to such a degree. If he could banish Imu, then the Gorosei, the Four Emperors, and even Sun God Nika would be no match. Anyone who blocked his path would be banished, and the world would be his to command.

Kael's Devil Fruit was the Paramecia-type Toki-Toki no Mi, the Time-Time Fruit, which he had obtained during his time in Edge Town. He was astonished that the Devil Fruits of the three users who died in Wano Country had all been reborn in the East Blue. Kurozumi Semimaru's Barrier-Barrier Fruit was eaten by Bartolomeo in Loguetown, and now Toki's fruit was in his possession.

At first, Kael thought the Toki-Toki no Mi was flawed and useless, as it could only send people forward in time, never back. He even considered it inferior to Foxy's Slow-Slow Fruit. However, he soon realized he was mistaken.

The fruit wasn't weak; Toki, its previous user, was. Her limited development of the fruit was what made it seem useless. She had traveled eight hundred years into the future, yet her timing was off by decades. Her lack of intelligence and judgment, which led her to fall for Kozuki Oden, made her a terrible user of such a powerful ability.

Kael began to develop the fruit's true potential. He called his use of the group time travel ability "time banishment." He also developed a technique similar to Kamui, where he could leave a spatiotemporal phantom of himself and banish his real body into the next moment of spacetime.

This made him immune to physical attacks, as no one could hit his true body. The only drawback was that it consumed stamina and didn't allow for spatial movement. When facing a powerful enemy, he could simply banish his body to a future time, ensuring they couldn't ambush him. His lifespan wouldn't change, so he could simply outlast his foes.

Kael's true breakthrough came with the development of his Time Domain. Within this domain, he could banish an opponent to a different point in time, while he remained able to move. To his enemies, it would appear as if he had teleported, similar to Trafalgar Law's Ope Ope no Mi.

This was the principle he used to defeat the five hundred soldiers. He banished them one by one to a future time, and as they reappeared, he was already there to cut them down.

The Toki-Toki no Mi has its limitations. It can only affect future time, not the past. This forces Kael to constantly strengthen himself with the three types of Haki to survive in a world of powerful fighters. However, its incomplete nature doesn't make it weak.

Its "long-term banishment" ability is its most fearsome skill. By banishing an enemy for years or decades, they would return only to face a much stronger, more developed Kael.

The Toki-Toki no Mi, like Bartolomeo's Barrier-Barrier Fruit, has a very high initial upper limit. Most enemies cannot resist Kael's time banishment unless they have advanced Haki. This ability is more advanced and specialized than Law's Ope Ope no Mi, which is versatile but not as potent in this specific function.

Time is king, and space is revered. As Blackbeard Teach once said, it's about acting first to gain the advantage. Advanced Devil Fruit abilities are just that outrageous.

If Kael can develop his power to forcibly banish even an Emperor-level strong individual to a future time, he would be unstoppable. He would banish anyone who dared to provoke him, from Marines to Celestial Dragons, God's Knights, and even the Gorosei.
