Chapter 20 - Chapter 19 - Day 2 Ends

The hell?! She couldn't return summoned people without getting a bad review. What if they didn't want to work? She wasn't willing to pay unless they were worth it. Now that she was a ruler, she had to become a penny pincher.

Tsk. Alas, when will her retirement days come?

[SOS Travel Express Space Train: As a ruler, there are cries for help all across the galaxy. Looking for a place they can call home, this train hears and heeds their call. It collects them to take them back to their new home planet, Panctuary Springs! (Upgradeable)]

When she upgrades her territory to level one, she will put this space train up instantly for use to collect cries of the universe.

Not bad for a level up and the pain.

Ming Sūlín was very satisfied, looking at her stats and inventory. Her hard work encouraged her to push herself harder, take risks, and be a little reckless—it had rewards, while injuries were minor in comparison, especially during the safe period.

Finally catching her breath, she turned her attention to the yellow-grade zombies she had deliberately left alive—finishing the hounds had been the bigger priority.

"Come, let your granny Sulin lay you down for a long trip to King Yama!" Ming Sūlín tapped a tree with her bat, guiding them off the path, using the cover of the trees to her advantage.

She took down every yellow-grade zombie she could see, even the ones further away, trying to attract them as much as possible before going back to the cabin to grab her parents and the others.

"Dammit, I'm getting a little tired," Ming Sūlín muttered. She switched tactics, pulling out her dagger and fillet knife, then activated her new Huntress skill, going for her prey.

[You have killed x1 Yellow-Grade Zombie (Unfortunate Soul refugee Player Xiang Fu) | 5 kill points | +90 EXP]

[11/30 unfortunate souls freed | +25 EXP]

All the loot from these three kills went straight into her inventory as she kept moving, not caring to glance at it.

Since she already had the RV keys and found an RV inside her slot inventory, she was surprised to receive one. She noticed that most items in the dungeon, from locations across her old Blue World, were slightly different from those on her former planet.

Even though it was broad daylight, she could see other planets in the sky, including two yellow suns right behind each other. She realized the dungeon world and her old world were distinct, though both were technologically advanced.

[You have killed x4 Yellow-Grade Zombies | 40 kill points | +480 EXP]

Damn mutts were working her over time. Wu wu.

Ming Sūlín rounded the campsite, making her way to the other cabin areas, actively hunting zombies and hounds, solely focused on upgrading. For some reason, she felt a sense of urgency.

[You sustained -15 HP of damage!]

"Fudge biscuits, stuck up the asshole!" Ming cussed as she had a chunk of meat bitten off her calf and shoulder.

[You have sustained -37 HP of damage!]

She felt agitated and frustrated and put all those emotions into the zombies and the hounds.

[You have obtained x2 hidden keys! x3 keys remain]

[You have killed x5 Yellow-Grade Zombie Hounds | 12 kill points | +150 EXP]

[Loot auto-added:]

• x2 Hidden Keys

• x4 Fur Pelts

• x210 Teeth

• x5 Leather

• x2 Half-Eaten Paracord Wire Rolls

Ming Sūlín tuned out all the drops, focusing only on the kills as she saw red, blacking in and out. Her resolve and will to survive overpowered her, forcing her through to the point of near-unconsciousness.

She missed her big, gigantic, plus-size king bed and her game swing reading chair, which she always lay across to read books in her little library at home. Wu wu.

[You have killed x7 Zombies | 3 kill points | +15 EXP]

[Loot: 3 Silver, 297 Copper Coins]

[You have killed x11 Yellow-Grade Zombies | 44 kill points | +660 EXP]

[Loot: x11 Rolls of Cloth, x5 Rotten Meat, x2 Dirty T-Shirts, x1 Multi Tool, x8 Wooden Arrows, x56 Silver, x341 Copper Coins]

She would have to recollect and rebuild her personal library, and she was quite excited at the thought of adventuring to other planets, cities, and libraries, reading and discussing knowledge in this universe.

There were 146 planets, plus six refugee planets, totaling 152. She owned one of them, and five other rulers from her world each owned a refugee planet. She wasn't sure how to feel about everything regarding the survival game and becoming a ruler, but she knew that to live a long and happy life, she needed strength—to question things later, but act now, learning as she goes.

She also realized the game wasn't simple. There were many loopholes and mini-glitches in the module. Smart players could exploit these, adding flexibility. While others noticed them, it made the dungeon slightly insecure.

She focused back on her surroundings, clearing the area and racking up XP.

[You have killed x8 Yellow-Grade Zombies | 40 kill points | +480 EXP]

She removed her Attraction Ring after cleaning up the paths, went back to the cabin, checked the RV, started it, and, not wanting to draw more zombies, quickly signaled from the boarded window that it was safe to come out.

She only had to wait a few minutes before everyone inside grabbed their things, weapons, and cautiously came out the door.

"The coast is clear." Ming Sūlín was amused by their little actions, looking like a mouse emerging from its hole, searching for the big bad cat.

Quickly, everyone got to the RV, wasting no time. Her father and mother took the front seats, and Jake, Steve, Tally, and Derek all got into the back.

The moment she sat down, her vision started to spend as the world around her went dark.

[Congratulations on surviving day two of cabin fever!]

[End of day 2 in proceeding progressing to Day 3!]

[Objective missions: locate characters and unfortunate souls, and freedom! 2/6

11/30]

The dungeon pulled her into the next scene.

When Ming Sulin came to she was laying in the grass in the middle of the woods, and when she lifted it up, she was covered in wounds, and she looked around to see that the RV had been crashed. The others were scattered around, and the RV was crashed into a tree and smoke was coming out from the engine.

She rubbed her head, feeling a headache and dizziness.

"What the hell this damn dungeon and it's random scene drops she really had a bone to pick with it." Ming Sulin cursed the dungeon into high heaven.
