- I cannot name any names, however, the dead god was not even a god. He would be, but the other gods feared his potential to grow, and killed him before he could become what he was destined to be. His body was torn into 38 pieces. Each being capable of immense growth, just as he was- but to a lesser extent. -
"So I am… one of the 38."
The system stayed silent, and because it did I knew I was. I was one of the 38 fragments of the dead god.
The quest to kill and absorb my own is clear now. I know what I have to do next. To find one. To gain power.
"One last question. Where do I find one of my own?"

Again with the question marks.. I'll just start searching for it.
I started looking at my surroundings, after having most of my questions answered.
The cave was very dark. Despite now having eyes to actually see it with, I could barely make out the layout of the area.

That certainly does help. I thought, as I looked around once more.
I noticed a couple of bugs, one flying in the air, unaware of me. The other was a caterpillar-ish creature. Now that I had legs, I started walking towards the one on the wall. I crushed it with the stump at the end of my arm and then put it in my mouth. I swallowed it, and the system appeared.

I thought for a moment and started walking. The flying bug followed me as I walked.
I had to find this fragment, to eat it just like I had eaten the bug.
I opened the system to check my status.

I walked. The cave came to a dead end.
Okay so.. What's that on the ground? Is that.. Me? I thought, as I looked at my shadow.
I looked around, and above me there was a tunnel leading straight up. It was the first time ever to have seen light. It was very bright, I was curious about this path leading up, but the system said the closest fragment was in this cave. So I thought to turn back or go up. I should go up to avoid the fragment, since it is much stronger than me anyways. Or at least that's what the system told me.
I don't know if I can trust the system. I guess it did help me out a little bit, and it's the only reason I became as strong as I am.
I can always find another fragment elsewhere. Curiosity gets the best of me this time. I thought, as I went up the tunnel.

I climbed and climbed. I reached the top of the hole.
Some creature was up there. It stared at me and then ran off screaming "IT'S A MONSTER!!!"
"System, what was that creature, and why could it speak the language that I'm speaking?"

- That was a human child, they are intelligent creatures that are capable of speaking and gather in massive groups. If one human learns something, all humans in the same tribe learn it as well. -
A human.. Huh.
I looked around, there was a massive white circle in the air which hurt to look at, there was grass everywhere, and even small creatures hopping around.
It's beautiful.
I then remembered my objective, and realized I needed to gain power. I snuck up on the small creature that was hopping around, and right when I was behind it, I smashed my arm into the ground as hard as I could. Before my arm hit the creature, it noticed me and jumped out of danger. My arm hit the ground and blood came splashing out of it and a terrifying pain rippled from my arm into the rest of my body.

I focused on the wound, and my battered arm swiftly healed back to its regular state. Grass started growing next to me, and the system appeared again.

It was painful but I gained more than I lost. Let's do that again.
I then proceeded to slam both my arms into the ground as hard as I could. Blood went flying out and pain engulfed me.

Then I healed my arms. Grass grew next to me, and Lesser Regeneration leveled up to level 3.
I did this process again.

And again.

4 more times, and my vitality increased by 3 more. The second to last time didn't result in any vitality. I noticed the progress was slowing by each time I destroyed my arms for progress. My Lesser Regeneration increased to level 9.
I did this one last time and the system appeared.

The grass was as tall as me, but red with blood. The ground was also stained by my blood.

After checking my status, I had a question for the system.
"System, do those small creatures have a name?"

- They are called rabbits. -
I looked around and spotted a group of 4 rabbits.
Rather than sneaking up on them this time, I went to grab a rock, however I couldn't pick it up as I had no hands.
So I gave up and started sneaking up on them. One of the rabbits noticed me, ran off, and the others followed. Another failure. I looked for a rabbit that was alone and I found it quickly. I snuck up on it and slowly reached my arm towards it. Then, as my arm was a couple inches above it, I slammed my arm down, and it crushed the rabbit.
Yes! I got one!
I sat down on the floor, leaned my face over the rabbit, and took a giant bite. I tried swallowing it but choked it back up. I started chewing the rabbit, and I could feel the texture of its fur, its meat, and even its bones. As I chewed, I noticed some rabbits started running in the opposite direction of me- but I was just sitting there. I quickly turned my head around and saw 3 humans carrying weapons in their hands. One had armor made from what looked to be bone. The other 2 had leather armor on.
