I jumped up and ran towards them. I stopped. I felt something… Familiar.
I looked at the weapon, the one with bone armor had.. Nope that wasn't it. I looked at his armor, that wasn't it either.
I looked at the other 2 and noticed one of them had a bone club in his hands. That was it. That was one of my kind.
They interrupted my meal, and now they will die for it. That human child must have told them about me.
They took a battle stance, as if they had prepared for this type of situation before.
"So this is the monster that came out of The Dead God's cave.. I'll add it to my collection", said the one with the bone armor.
I looked at the weapon that felt familiar a moment ago. I said, "What are you doing? Playing as a human's tool?"
The 3 looked shocked that I could speak, but they looked even more shocked when the bone club spoke after me. "You.. I'll kill you and absorb you!" It yelled.
It launched itself out of the man's hand, breaking it in the process. The man ran away, and the other 2 followed after him. As they started running the club jumped off the ground by spinning and spun into my right arm. My arm was torn off, but I didn't flinch. The club jumped towards my back but I turned around and ducked just in time. I ran towards the club as it flew above my head. When I jumped it hit the floor, and before it had time to do anything, I landed on it and the force snapped it in half. I stomped on it again and again until I was sure it was dead.

I looked at the shattered club. From up close, it looked like a rib bone. And I was a piece of meat. I connected the dots and realised we are body parts of.. Someone.
I used my Greater Regeneration and my arm grew back.
I started eating the rib bone. As I swallowed, sharp pieces of bone stabbed my throat.
But I kept eating.
When I was done I used my Regeneration skill.

I then felt my core expand, and felt and watched as hands grew on the stubs of my arms. They had razor sharp nails about an inch long.
Now I have a slightly more proper weapon. But these hands are also dexterity tools.
My vision distorted, time paused, and the system appeared in front of me. This time with a video playing. "What is this?" I asked. "What has time stopped?"
In the video, I saw my progenitor. I could tell it was him, I sensed it. He was the man I came from. There were 3 glowing humanoid entities in front of him. They were gods. 2 of them rushed towards him. One had a spear, and the other had a sword. As they approached him, the third one looked straight at me through the system and spoke. There was no audio so I couldn't hear him. His lips moved, yet I couldn't tell what he said. The video cut out suddenly, and the system appeared.

I watched the video again, but the third god wasn't there this time.
This is too scary.. I thought.
The video ended with him being killed. And he was torn into pieces and scattered across the world.
But I couldn't forget about the rabbit I killed earlier. I went over to the rabbit and started eating it.

I couldn't stop thinking about the video I watched.
He looked at me, spoke and then the next time I watched the video, he was gone.. What could be going on here?

Should I make a human friend? Forget that, no human would want to befriend a monster unless they are absolutely insane. I'll just stick with devouring humans. But it would be nice to fit in with the humans at least. I guess I'll try to befriend one, even if it seems impossible.
