Under the sunset, in a graveyard full of tombstones, a middle-aged man stood up from an unmarked grave.
'I never thought it would happen so fast—a sniper, one bullet, right to the head.'
He got up and walked forward.
'This one, I set a thermal charge, and just like that, a life was gone.'
'It was me... I made a mistake only a beginner would make.'
The view zoomed in, and that's when the player noticed the photo on the tombstone was the man himself.
'They hid a trap by the window—always double-check before going in!'
The view pulled closer, and the face on the tombstone was still him.
'Use your rope right—don't think you're invincible, falling from the second floor... it can happen just like that!'
'Foolish, still foolish... always foolish.'
The middle-aged man took a deep breath and kept walking forward.
Along the way, every tombstone had his photo.
At that moment, the players watching the video suddenly understood.
Clearly, this wasn't some messy story about reincarnation.
It was just a metaphor for the man's actions as a player in the game.
'A sniper was hiding there—by the time I noticed, it was too late!'
'Stabbed in the back, vertical explosive... this time, I ran out of the building and stepped right on a sword mine. Being bold is good, but don't get greedy.'
'I remember every reason I died, every stupid mistake and wrong call on the situation!'
'But I promise, today the one who dies won't be me!'
As the words ended, the camera pulled in close to the man's face, and the next moment the screen went dark.
Only his voice-over remained.
'Are you ready? Launch a careful attack plan.'
The next moment, the scene switched inside a bank. In the main hall, a group of hostages were tied up with their mouths sealed, and every face showed pure fear. At the same time, in an office on the first floor, a group of terrorists was setting explosives.
Meanwhile, countless terrorists wearing white masks were using rolling wooden boards to block off key passages.
Some white-masked terrorists held shields and guarded the main routes.
At the same time, the camera moved outside.
Elite special forces from various countries stood ready—the Rainbow team.
"Yes, it's them again."
"We can't let those bombs go off!"
"But they refused to talk!"
"The safety of all the hostages is in your hands!"
A middle-aged officer looked at the fully armed Rainbow team, took a deep breath, closed his eyes, then opened them and said in a firm voice: "Now..."
"Talks have broken down—prepare to storm!"
With those words...
The assault began.
All team members were in position in their areas.
In the distance, Glaz was already set up, his sniper rifle ready as he calmly covered spots where terrorists might appear.
At the same time, Ying, Blitz, Montagne, Thermite, and operators like Ash and Pulse split into two groups and moved into place.
One group would attack from the first floor, while the other used ropes to reach the bank's roof, ready to hit from both sides at once.
The scene switched back to the starting spot, where two unmanned recon drones slipped through a door crack into the bank, sending back inside info.
"One terrorist at the main entrance counter, two more to the left of the entrance. Hostages have been moved to the second floor."
Facing the bank's sealed front doors, the team exchanged looks. The next moment, Thermite stepped forward.
The scene cut inside.
On the bank's steel front doors, red sparks appeared, and they moved in a steady pattern.
It was like someone cutting the door with a welding torch, only much faster.
Before the white-masked terrorists could figure it out, a huge boom rang out.
'Boom!'
Black smoke rose, and the next moment, flashbang-like fragments shot through the smoke and landed in the middle of the hall, bursting with bright light.
It instantly left everyone deafened and blinded for a short time. At that point, all the white-masked terrorists fired wildly toward the bank's main door from memory.
'Clang clang clang clang...' A series of metal hits echoed, and as the smoke cleared, Montagne led the way with his big shield. All the bullets hit the shield but did no real damage.
Ying, Thermite, and Ash followed close behind and took out the white-masks in the hall one by one.
At the same time, the scene jumped to the second floor.
Using a rope, Blackbeard—with his sunglasses and black beard—looked serious as he attached a ballistic shield to his gun and slowly lowered himself to a window boarded up on the second floor.
Up on the roof, Pulse checked his heartbeat sensor, which showed two red dots.
He pulled out a remote explosive, placed it above, then stepped aside.
The next moment, the bomb went off with a boom, blowing a hole in the roof. Right as the explosion hit, Blackbeard burst through the window, and his MK17CQB with the shield quickly took out the two white-masks who were distracted.
At the same time, Pulse and Blitz dropped from the roof and took control of the second floor.
First and second floors cleared, bombs defused—only the hostage room left.
The two teams met up. Facing the wooden door sealing the hostage room, Ash pulled out her grenade launcher and fired a breaching round at the boards.
After about a second's delay, boom.
The breaching round exploded, smoke filling the air.
At that moment, Blitz rushed in first with his shield, pressing the charge button on it lightly.
Sizzle... pop!
White light burst from the shield, lighting up the whole room like daylight.
The sudden flash made the white-mask guarding the hostages yell in pain and go blind for a moment, while his gun fired blindly toward the team.
But all the bullets were stopped by the shield. As they hit Blitz's shield, cracks started showing on the bulletproof glass.
Blitz stayed calm, though. He timed it right and raised his right hand.
The P12 pistol—made with precise German craft—fired bullets that each hit the white-mask terrorist's head exactly.
Ash and Ying went up to the shaken hostages and helped free them from their ties.
The camera panned over each team member's face.
Finally, the screen faded to black.
Ying's voice came over the comms.
'Assault complete.'
The game title appeared in the center.
