Sunlight filtered through the white curtains, casting a soft, dreamy glow on Lisa.
After taking Ken's shirt, Lisa turned her back to him and quickly put it on, her slender fingers deftly buttoning it up.
As she inhaled the fresh scent lingering on the shirt, thinking about how Ken had worn it close to his body, Lisa's cheeks reddened even more.
Though an experienced witch, it was her first time in such an embarrassing situation.
Normally, she would tease young people with a casual remark—it was all in good fun, nothing serious, and she was always at ease.
When had she ever been as flustered and lost as she was now?
Feeling the burning gaze behind her, Lisa's back stiffened a little. She did her best to calm herself—she couldn't keep acting out of sorts.
In truth, Ken really was watching Lisa.
The loose white shirt draped over Lisa's body, hiding much of her beauty, but the black stockings faintly visible beneath made her even more alluring.
A witch really did have endless charm.
"You must be Mr. Ken, right?"
After a brief shock, Lisa gradually calmed down.
When she turned around again, her cheeks were still flushed, but her emerald eyes had steadied.
"Hello, Miss Lisa. I'm Ken. Welcome to Blue Star."
Ken smiled.
Lisa knew she was on Blue Star, but hearing Ken confirm it still left her a little unsettled.
Instinctively, she glanced out the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Towering buildings soared skyward; the traffic bustled below.
Strange screens flashed with moving images—this made Lisa, usually blasé about all things, genuinely curious about Blue Star's knowledge.
"So this is… Blue Star."
"It seems you really do have the power of prophecy. Klee and Barbara weren't lying."
Looking at the calm man before her, Lisa believed it.
When Klee first told her about this, Lisa had been skeptical. Even after seeing endless wisdom at Sumeru, this all seemed too bizarre.
Yet seeing how Ken seemed to know her so well—not just vague rumors, but with a deep, confident understanding—she was convinced.
"Something like that. Just a twist of fate," Ken replied, not going into detail. He turned and made Lisa a cup of black coffee, setting it by the breakfast.
Looking at the hearty breakfast, Lisa hesitated, then instead voiced her doubts.
"So… your door can forcibly bring anyone to Blue Star?"
Thinking of what had just happened to her, Lisa was still annoyed.
She had been in the middle of getting dressed, only to be suddenly whisked away to Blue Star—so embarrassing.
"In theory, yes. As long as I want to invite a Teyvat companion, I can do so at any time."
Ken didn't hide it. After all, facts were facts.
There was no point in hiding, nor any need.
"Mr. Ken, you're so funny—calling that 'inviting someone over'?"
Lisa laughed wryly, her gaze subtly sizing up Ken.
As much as she didn't want to admit it, there was no doubt—Ms. Alice had good taste. This man's looks and temperament were both exceptional.
"Uh… Please believe I mean no harm. Miss Lisa, won't you try the breakfast? It's very different from Mondstadt's."
Ken was a little helpless. This kind of summoning was indeed impolite; Lisa's reaction was reasonable.
Lisa shook her head. "Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Ken, but I'm more interested in this 'Genshin' game… and that thing called a computer?"
She had been curious since hearing about it from Barbara and Klee.
Now that she was here, she might as well experience it firsthand.
"That's fine—Klee and Barbara are in the study." Ken nodded.
Forming a bond with a witch like Lisa was much harder than with Klee or Barbara, so he didn't rush.
Ken's apartment was a spacious flat, with four rooms, two living rooms, a gym, and a study.
As they walked to the study, Lisa took in the décor. While very different from Mondstadt, she found the minimalist style quite appealing.
"Klee, Barbara, guess who's here?" Ken called as he opened the study door.
At that moment, little Klee was engrossed in voice acting. To a child, seeing a game character just like herself was like magic.
Hearing Ken's voice, Klee quickly took off her headphones and exclaimed, "Big Sister Lisa!"
But Barbara hid her hands behind her back, her face turning as red as an apple.
"Li… Big Sister Lisa…"
Barbara's cheeks were bright red, especially when she saw Ken. Her blush deepened even more.
"I… I just remembered I have something to do at the church, I'll go now!"
"Mr. Ken, could you… could you send me back?"
Barbara lowered her head, hands behind her back, nervously rubbing them together, not daring to look at Ken.
Ken was puzzled.
Everything had seemed fine just now—why the sudden change?
But seeing Barbara's expression, it was obvious she didn't want to talk about it. If she really did have church matters, it wouldn't do to delay her.
So Ken summoned the portal and sent Barbara back.
…
Back at the Church of Favonius, Barbara finally relaxed her hands and looked at the white lace stockings she was holding, lost in thought.
