Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Wrong Spell, Right Demon

Kei Saito never expected his night to end with a half-naked creepy hot man lying on his bed.

It all started with a dumb spell from a secondhand bookstore—one of those dusty grimoires written in half-broken Latin and edgy red ink. He only tried it because his dorm room closet had been making weird noises for three days. A shadow moved inside. Something whispered his name once. He thought it was a ghost.

So he lit a candle. Drew the seal on the floor using red chalk. Whispered the chant.

And then boom—the lights flickered, the candle blew out, and in the middle of a smoke-filled glow… a man appeared.

A very tall, muscular, dangerously beautiful man.

Kei scream and shocked.

The stranger didn't.

He just lay there on Kei's bed like he belonged there, his shirt hanging off one shoulder, abs fully visible, long black hair tousled like a model at a beach photoshoot. His eyes were blood-red. Not in a "tired from all-nighters" kind of way, but in a "might eat your soul" way.

"What... the hell…" Kei whispered, backing into his desk.

The man sat up slowly, gaze locked on him. "You summoned me."

"I—I was trying to banish something, not—what even are you?!"

"Rude," the man said, his voice deep and smooth like melted chocolate. "I show up looking like this and you act like I'm the problem. Typical human."

Kei blinked. "Okay, no. You—You can't just pop into my bed half-naked and insult me. Who even are you?!"

The man stood, stretching. No shoes. Tight pants. Not helping.

"I am Azriel Vireon. Demon prince, devourer of dreams, seducer of souls… but you can call me Az."

Kei stared at him.

Then burst out laughing.

"You're joking. This is a prank. Renz probably hired a stripper and added smoke effects. I swear if there's a hidden camera—"

Az appeared directly in front of him, making Kei yelp and stumble back into the chair. The demon leaned down, their faces just inches apart. His voice dropped to a whisper.

"Want me to prove I'm real?"

Kei's heart nearly stopped.

Az raised a hand—not threateningly, but gently, brushing a strand of hair from Kei's face. His fingers were ice-cold. Then, he leaned closer, lips brushing against the shell of Kei's ear.

"I can hear your heartbeat," he murmured. "Racing. Fast. Tempting."

Kei was frozen. His entire body felt warm. Flushed.

"D-Don't flirt with me," he muttered.

"I'm not flirting," Az smirked. "I'm warning you."

Kei grabbed the nearest object—a pillow—and smacked Az with it. "Out! Out of my room!"

Az laughed, catching the pillow mid-swing. "Too late. We're soul-linked now."

"What?!"

Az stepped back, looking amused. "When you said my name in the summoning circle, it bonded our fates. I'm yours. Until the contract ends."

Kei's face turned crimson. "I—I didn't mean to summon a hot demon boyfriend!"

Az gave a wolfish grin. "Too bad. You got one."

Before Kei could scream again, a cold wind swept through the room. The lights dimmed. The air turned sharp, electric.

A voice—low, cold, and eerily familiar—cut through the silence.

"You shouldn't be here, Azriel."

Both Kei and Az turned.

There, standing in the doorway as if he'd always been there, was a man with silver hair, dressed in black, eyes like frost and fire. Calm. Dangerous. Tall. And glaring directly at Az.

Az's smile vanished.

"…Belial," he said tightly.

Kei blinked, mouth half open. "Wait. You two… know each other?"

Bel's eyes flicked to Kei. A flicker of recognition. Of something softer.

"I've known him... much longer than you have," Bel's said.

Az's eyes narrowed. "Don't even think about it."

Kei looked between the two stunning men now in his bedroom.

"…Am I in a lucky with demons?" he whispered.

Neither of them denied it.
