Chapter 3 - Partial erasure

The headquarters of "Shinda" — warriors fighting vampires.

Several people gather around a circular table in silence. The atmosphere is heavy. Glasses pass from hand to hand until one finally speaks.

"How could this happen?"

A vampire transforming into a living human—this is the news spreading everywhere.

"Tell me, Sai. Can you kill him without causing chaos?"

Sai, a man with white hair and black eyes, a scar across his left eye, replies:

"Do I enjoy killing him without chaos?"

The other person responds:

"Damn it, your enjoyment isn't the issue—there are people afraid to go to work."

Sai: "Are you afraid too... or why don't you summon someone from the great families?"

That man, furious:

"Kill them all—even if you destroy every corner of the world... just kill him!"

Sai smirks confidently, a sinister smile forming.

"Alright, then I'll go play with him a little."

One day later...

Yamato finishes his training deep in the forest, speaking to himself.

"Just a little more… I'll awaken it."

Then he enters the city, his thoughts focused only on what comes next.

Suddenly, he hears a voice from the right.

"Hey, Yamato."

Yamato turns sharply, tense, to find Sai standing there, smiling.

Before he can speak, a knife flies toward him at blinding speed. Yamato moves swiftly and lands atop a lamppost.

"Who are you… you lowly scum?"

Sai glares angrily.

"How dare you speak to me from above?"

Then Yamato leaps toward him, their feet and hands collide.

Sai, enraged:

"How dare you let your foot touch my hand?"

Next, Yamato uses his rifle, striking the stomach, then the face—jump, kick to the chest. Sai crashes into a building wall.

Yamato stands firm, staring directly at him.

He hears a hysterical laugh from Sai:

"It's begun."

Sai charges forward at lightning speed. Before Yamato realizes it, his hand is severed.

Yamato stares at his blood spraying through the air.

He mutters to himself:

"Who is this guy… why is he so strong?"

Sai speaks: "That was a beautiful fight. Now, come on."

Sai dashes again—but this time, he uses his technique, slicing his fingertip.

He releases an electric aura, wrapping his hand in it. On the other side, Yamato activates his rifle—devastating collision.

Half the area is destroyed. Then Yamato's energy fades before he even feels it. Sai stands before him.

Sai delivers a punch to Yamato's face. Yamato blocks with his hand—his hand is severed. But before it hits the ground—

Yamato regenerates his hand, grabs the flying one, and hurls it at Sai, piercing his shoulder.

Then Yamato cuts his finger again, releasing a strange aura.

Stunned, Sai speaks to himself:

"Why does a vampire possess this ability?"

Then Yamato smiles. His eyes glow.

"Partial Erasure."

In an instant, absolute silence fills the space. Sai realizes—he has lost his left hand—no blood, no wound, as if it never existed.

Now he understands—he is not fighting an ordinary vampire.

He says: "If you want to play like this…"

He pulls out another electric aura and unleashes a lightning strike.

Yamato explodes from within.

Sai retreats, hearing Yamato scream in agony.

He mutters: "I didn't need to play with him. I won't kill him yet—I'll break him first."

Hours after the incident…

Yamato lies unconscious on the ground. We see a girl, pale skin, blue eyes, standing beside him.
