Chapter 5: Nitro Betrayal
The night in Kuala Lumpur burned electric. Neon bled across the skyline as engines howled below the Petronas Towers. Tonight wasn't just another street race—it was The Circuit, an underground championship where only the fearless survived. The stakes? $1 million in crypto and a seat in the legendary Blacklist Rush Syndicate.
Kelvin stood by his matte-black Nissan GT-R, gloves on, jaw tight. Sweat traced his spine despite the cool night air. Across from him, in a crimson Lamborghini Huracán, sat Blaze—the new kingpin of the eastern racing cartel, and a ghost from Kelvin's past.
"We used to build dreams together," Kelvin muttered, eyes narrowing. "Now you burn them."
Beside Kelvin, Aria—his tuner and the girl who once stole his heart—watched Blaze with silent fury. She leaned in close.
"He betrayed you, Kel. And now he's running with Syndicate 66. They play dirty. Nitro traps. EMP bursts. Even drones."
Kelvin's eyes didn't blink.
"Let him bring hell. I'm the storm."
💥 The Race Begins
The crowd roared. Fireworks cracked. A drone flew overhead, streaming the race live to millions in the darknet pay-per-view world.
A girl in a glowing jacket raised her arm.
"Three…"
"Two…"
"One…"
GO!
Nitro exploded.
Kelvin's GT-R launched like a bullet. Blaze's Lambo shadowed him, low and serpentine. Tunnels blurred, streets warped, sparks flew from drifting tires as they carved through KL's underground highways at 250 km/h.
Suddenly, a trap—an EMP mine. Aria screamed through the comm:
"LEFT! NOW!"
Kelvin swerved just in time. Blaze didn't. His car sparked, slowed—then surged forward again. He had countermeasures. Dirty tactics. Syndicate tech.
"He's not racing fair," Aria snapped. "They want you wrecked."
But Kelvin grinned.
"Let them try."
🔥 Nitro Duel
On a bridge over the Klang River, the final stretch loomed. Blaze rammed Kelvin's side. Metal screamed. Sparks sprayed.
"You're still the same soft boy," Blaze shouted through the window. "You'll never survive the Syndicate."
Kelvin's eyes burned.
"Wrong."
He hit Nitro-X, a forbidden booster Aria had designed. The GT-R surged like a missile, front wheels barely clinging to the ground. He spun, flipped mid-air, and LANDED AHEAD of Blaze, tires screeching with fury.
"Blacklist Rush," Kelvin whispered, "just found its next king."
💔 Aftermath
Kelvin crossed the finish line.
Crowd erupted. Drones flashed. But Blaze didn't stop. He drove off into the shadows, vanishing like smoke.
Aria ran to Kelvin. Her lips trembled.
"You're hurt."
He looked down—blood from his ribs. "Not as much as when you left."
She stared at him, guilt flooding her eyes. "I never stopped loving you…"
Before she could finish, a sleek black car pulled up. Its windows rolled down.
Inside sat a man in a suit with a golden skull ring.
"Kelvin K… welcome to the Blacklist Rush Syndicate. But be warned—we eat traitors for breakfast."
Kelvin's grip tightened on his helmet.
"Good. I came hungry."
To be continued…
