Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Blood on the Asphalt

Chapter 6: Blood on the Asphalt

The streets of Batu Circuit were still hot with the memory of last night's illegal drag war. Smoke hadn't even cleared from the tire marks that screamed vengeance into the tarmac.

Tyler stood at the edge of the lot behind Garage 9, his knuckles still bloodied from the fight with Zane's crew. The air smelled of gasoline and adrenaline. His black Supra, nicknamed "Cerberus," glistened under the amber morning sun — battle-scarred, but unbeaten.

He had won.

But at what cost?

"You should've killed him," said Raven, stepping out from the shadows. Her leather jacket carried a slash from the blade she dodged last night.

Tyler looked at her, jaw clenched."I'm not a murderer. I race. I fight. But I don't finish people like Zane that way."

She walked closer, eyes fierce."Zane isn't done. You humiliated him in front of the Syndicate. He'll be back… with more than just nitrous and attitude."

Suddenly, a phone buzzed.

Tyler checked the encrypted device — a message from an unknown number:

"Next round starts in Tokyo. You're invited. Bring your fastest demon."

He stared at it, heart thumping.

Raven peeked over."Tokyo? That's not just a race. That's the Underground Kings Championship."

Tyler turned slowly."That's the big leagues. No rules. No finish line. Just chaos."

Meanwhile, across town...

Zane sat in a blood-red Nissan GT-R inside a dark hangar. His right eye was swollen, his ego shattered — but his rage? Intact.

Beside him stood a new figure, face unseen, only known as "Shadow Fang." A racer from Japan with a body count and no mercy.

"You want revenge?" Shadow Fang's voice was ice.

Zane nodded.

"Then let's burn everything."

Back in the city, Raven handed Tyler a red envelope.

"This... was from your brother. Before he died."

Tyler froze. "What?"

She nodded. "He was racing in Tokyo. He found something. Someone tried to silence him."

Tyler opened the envelope — inside, a keychain. The tag read:

"Rush is in the blood. Kings don't die. They burn."

He clenched it in his fist, eyes burning with something beyond fury.

"Saddle up, Raven," he said, voice steel.

"We're flying to Tokyo."

To be continued...
