" Old geezer, what's happening here doesn't concern you a bit so if you know what's best for you, leave this place at once or else " the officer blatantly spoke out, his tone was rude but he could care less.
" Or else what? "
" I'm curious to know how this doesn't concern me? after all the young girl you pushed aside is an outstanding lawyer I brought for that man " The old man voiced out, his words stayed gentle yet carried authority.
The officer's eyebrows twitched.
" So you are the one who paid this shit of an attorney huh? I was curious to know who would send an attorney, if this good for nothing criminal is owing you money then wait until he is taken care of "
" You will get your turn so back off " the officer made a retort.
He turned, staring at Ryan then the attorney he had his hands on, he hissed, returning his attention back to the old man, He tightened his grip on Ryan's arm, attempting to walk away but he was blocked.
The bodyguards of the old man had every path blocked intentionally.
" Hmph, foolish old geezer, do you have any idea what you are doing? where you are standing is a police department and I'm an officer of the law, do you really think you would get away with disrupting an officer's actions? "
" Do you want to join this criminal and rot in jail? " The officer roared.
Despite being in an agitated situation, the old man couldn't help but smile.
" Youngsters are always quick to act, irrational, sometimes stupid and make dumb decisions alot but it's quite understandable you will be this way, after all you young men are drunken in power "
" Sorry this may be an intrusion but I won't be leaving without the Young Master "
The old man declared.
Ryan tilted his gaze with a confounded look displayed on his face, he had no idea what the old man was talking about, who had no idea who this old man is but the voice was familiar to him.
He couldn't recall where he had heard this voice from.
" Old geezer, are you drunk or something? who are you referring to as Young Master? this piece of trash? I can see you have made a mistake, this good for nothing thief stole from his ex wife, defrauded her clients "
" Even after how many years the Haimon Family took care of him, he is nothing but a trash, so you are definitely at the wrong place, if you don't mind clear the way and allow your boys to step out of my way "
" If you do, I'll forgive your insolence " the officer uttered.
" Forgive my insolence? It seems you are overestimating your position, I'm not dumb that I do not know where I am, and no I'm not here for someone else, I don't care what he has done but I'm not leaving without him "
The old man's words caused whispers amongst the onlookers.
The officer who held Mr. Ryan with so much brute force was already getting intensely agitated, a few officers came to join him, with the hopes of dragging Ryan away and locking him up in his cell.
Matters slowly began to escalate.
And Tension grew.
" Old geezer, it seems you are a stubborn old fool but I will forgive you and give you a chance to step away, Mr. Ryan is a piece of shit and a criminal, he will face the law and so will you if you don't leave now "
The officer growled, he could feel his blood rising, ready to grab his gun and shoot down the stubborn old man but the repercussions of his actions would be too severe for even himself to handle.
" Old man, listen to what my fellow officer is saying and leave this place before it becomes too late "
Another officer chipped in, defending his fellow officer but the old man was unshakened by the threats, one of the officers took a step forward, approaching the old man but he was swiftly stopped by the guards.
The situation escalated, drawing in attention from even the higher floors of the building.
Seconds later the Sheriff, Mr. Mycolski walked into the room.
His eyes squinted, navigating the atmosphere when his eyes fell upon the old figure, startled, he walked through the crowd, pushing others away.
" What's going on here? " His voice resounded. Echoing vastly.
All attention drifted towards his direction.
Quickly recognizing the Sheriff, the officer giggled softly.
" You old crook, you are done for now "
He muttered silently.
He released his grip on Ryan, pushing him onto the officers behind him, he rushed towards the Sheriff. Faking his tears.
" Ah Mr. Mycolski, thank goodness you came right on time, I was fulfilling my duties, doing what I was obligated to do by getting this piece of trash and locking him up when this old geezer came out of nowhere and started assaulting me "
" He called me all sort of names, he called me a criminal, a murderer, he even insulted you and trashed the police force as well, he referred to us as hardened criminals and worse than even prisoners "
" Everyone's my witness, they all watched him belittle me " the officer reported, showing off his fabricated emotions.
Silence reigned.
" Mr. Sky.....is that the truth? " Mr. Mycolski questioned.
" Oh, old man.....no matter what you say or how you try to defend yourself, you are fucked already, if it were outside then you may had witnesses capable of defending you but in here, this is my domain "
" Everyone will surely support me so try denying it all you like, you will suffer the same fate as this criminal " the officer whispered, he wore a grin.
Hiding it from the eyes of the Sheriff.
" Mr. Mycolski, we already had this discussion didn't we? I don't have the necessary time for all of this, I came to pick someone and your men stood as a blockage, hindering me " The old man explained.
The Sheriff tilted his gaze, he glared at Ryan for a few seconds.
Returning his gaze back to the old man.
" Is that him? " The Sheriff, Mr. Mycolski asked.
" Yes.... that's him " The old man answered.
" Ok. Release this young man "
The Sheriff gave his command.
