The door creaked open and Min-jae stepped inside, kicking off his shoes. The house was quiet except for the faint hum of the air conditioner.
"Welcome home," Tae-hyun's voice came from the kitchen. "Good morning."
"Morning," Min-jae muttered, running a hand through his messy hair. He looked tired — like he hadn't really slept.
Tae-hyun glanced up from the coffee pot, narrowing his eyes. "Where were you last night? You stopped disappearing like that for a while."
Min-jae sighed. "I was just… tired, that's all."
"Tired?" Tae-hyun's tone softened a little, but there was a teasing edge to it. "If you need someone to relieve your stress, I can find you a guy. You're a dominant Alpha like me — I get it. That drive doesn't just vanish."
Min-jae grimaced. "No need. I can handle it."
He brushed past him and went straight to his room, shutting the door halfway. The faint smell of coffee followed him, but his thoughts were already somewhere else — tangled, messy.
