Ji-eun wandered over to the table where K and Do-hyun were sitting, his cane tapping lightly against the floor. He had that same half-smile that said I'm pretending to be friendly, but I'm already judging you.
"Ah, K!" Ji-eun said brightly, sliding right into the seat beside him. "Long time no see, hm?"
K straightened a little, smiling politely. "Good morning, Mr. Han."
Then Ji-eun turned his attention to Do-hyun, narrowing his eyes like he was trying to place a face from a blurry memory. "And… you are?"
Do-hyun gave that perfect polite smile, the one that said I know how to deal with old men like this. "I'm Cha Do-hyun. We met at the company once, remember?"
Ji-eun blinked. "Cha…?"
K chuckled awkwardly. "Yeah, he's from the Cha family, sir."
Ji-eun froze mid-blink. His face changed completely — from mild interest to full-on thundercloud. He leaned in a little, squinting at Do-hyun's face. "Wait a second… you— your face. You look just like Tae-hyun!"
