Nelly is walking in the white hallway of the hospital. There are few people around, and some are nurses. Her eyes catch sight of one of the nurses, and their eyes meet for a brief second.
Nelly stops walking. She turns around and tries to find the nurse. "There's something in that nurse. I haven't seen her around here, maybe she's new?"
The nurse who's ambling in the bright hallway of the hospital, stops walking beside a door.
She grasps the cold doorknob, twisting it as she pushes it forward. Inside, she sees the sight of a male patient resting on the bed with his eyes closed, and IV lines embedded on the back of his hand.
With a gentle push, she closes the door. Her brown eyes begin to shift to their green color.
Meanwhile, at the grassland where the current battle is occurring, Kohlrabi releases a loud cry of anger. A strong pressure shakes the entire battlefield, and trees come out everywhere from the massive field of soil.
Kohlrabi began manipulating trees, and they swam toward Ash and Elesia like snakes.
Elesia swings her scythe, cutting the trees coming towards her. Ash releases fireballs from his eyes, destroying every tree coming in his direction.
Kohlrabi emerges from a tree, and his gaze locks on Ash, standing near him. A sharp stone blade comes out from his wrist.
Kohlrabi thrusts the blade but Ash grasps the blade in a matter of seconds. Kohlrabi increases the length of his other hand and punches Ash's guts.
"I see you." Kohlrabi grabbed Ash's throat while sensing something near him.
He turns backward, and from above, Elesia is flying down at him. She tightens her grasp on her scythe, and green energy is covering its blade.
She swings her scythe towards Kohlrabi but he tosses Ash towards her. Elesia's eyes widen while Ash collides with her body.
Ash releases a cry from his fall, and he pushes himself back to his feet. He chops his back with gentle punches from his right hand.
He says, "My back hurts but we need to finish him."
From the fireball on his right eye, he fires a wave of fireballs at Kohlrabi.
Kohlrabi summons hundreds of trees, and they form into a wall. The fireballs only burn half of the wall. Kohlrabi flies above the trees, and his eyes lock on Ash.
"Both of you may think that I am now vulnerable because I am facing both of you."
Kohlrabi begins to channel his energy around his body, and yellow energy starts to cover his entire form.
"But both of you are wrong."
Elesia and Ash look beside them, and Kohlrabi is standing between them. Elesia swings her scythe towards him as Ash charges his right eye.
Stones cover Kohlrabi's right hand, and he slaps the blade of the scythe away, then, he fires a yellow energy from his left hand.
The beam strikes Ash away, and a wall of trees sprouts from the ground. Ash hits against the wall of trees, and thick branches emerge from their bodies; wrapping around Ash's body.
"I'll finish you!" Elesia performed another swing of her scythe towards Kohlrabi.
Kohlrabi slaps the scythe again, and the scythe slips from Elesia's hand.
Elesia grits her teeth. She steps toward the scythe but wooden spikes emerge from the ground; surrounding her body.
"Try to make a move," Kohlrabi's tone is calm but serious, "and more spikes will come out, and stab you."
Elesia's green eyes start to glow but she stops the process. A smirk manifests on Kohlrabi's face.
"What's your name? It's Elesia, right? You were just as strong as her."
"What do you mean?" Kohlrabi spoke, her voice showing anger.
Kohlrabi raises his right hand, pointing his index finger at her. "Your sister. Did you know what truly happened to her?"
Elesia blinks, her chest beginning to heave as sweat falls from her forehead.
Kohlrabi stares at her. " She died."
Elesia's eyes shake, and her hands begin to tremble. Her eyes become empty. She shakes her head rapidly, and her teeth clash against each other.
A spear flies forth towards Elesia. She catches the spear, and swings it immediately; cutting the spikes around her.
Vines come out from Kohlrabi's back, and they slash at her but Elesia avoids them. She jumps toward Kohlrabi with a gaze full of anger.
She reaches him but Kohlrabi's yellow-green eyes begin to glow. Elesia's eyes widen in shock, and Kohlrabi fires an energy beam from his eyes.
Elesia groans, and she opens her eyes. Everything she sees is rotating rapidly. She stands up but she starts to stumble from side to side.
Kohlrabi walks toward her, and he says, "I remember you from the memories of Gourd. I thought you were different from your sister but it turns out that I put my expectations to waste."
She ends up falling on her knees. She looks up, seeing his eyes staring down at her. Kohlrabi clicks his tongue repeatedly while shaking his head.
"She was so weak to believe that the one she's loving is Kurt. In reality, it was none other than Gourd.
"Of course, Gourd killed Kurt after their anniversary. Gourd truly enjoyed acting as Kurt while manipulating your sister in believing that he was truly the 'Kurt' she loves."
Kohlrabi crouches and stares deep into Elesia's green eyes. He smiles while seeing her slowly becoming tired.
"You have her green eyes."
"Shut up!" Elesia spat on his face.
Kohlrabi jerks after getting spit, and he chuckles while standing back to his feet.
"Gosh, such an attitude."
He smiles slyly and looks down at her.
"Your sister was such a weak woman. She died from Coseria, a third-ranking seed. How can you call her a guardian if she is that weak? She's indeed a disgrace."
A breeze of air twirls around Elesia, and her green eyes are twinkling. Kohlrabi continues to laugh.
"She was so vulnerable and so hungry of feeling love. Did she love you? Because all I see from those memories is that she only loves Kurt."
"That's not true!" Elesia pushed herself back to her feet.
Ash's eyes open, and he narrows. The burning cut on Kohlrabi's chest explodes, and he is sent flying backward.
Elesia is lying on the ground with her eyes closed, and her spear lying near her.
"That cut will continue to burn as long as you live!" Ash yelled, still stuck in the embrace of the trees.
Kohlrabi grabs his injured chest. He flinches and quickly moves his hand away from it.
"It feels hot," Kohlrabi says, "I can't touch my chest."
Kohlrabi covers his hands with yellow energy but his eyes grow wide, and his energy comes to a halt. He falls to his knees while coughing, green fluid coming out of his mouth.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING?! THIS IS YOUR FAULT YOU LOW CREATURES!" Kohlrabi roared at them.
Ash burns the trees putting him to a stop. He walks toward Kohlrabi while his hands are swinging calmly with his feet.
Ash speaks calmly. "We are not low creatures because if we are, why are you the one kneeling?"
Ash suddenly jumps away as Acacia comes from above. His eyes wield calmness amidst his comrade's situation. He is now standing between Ash and Kohlrabi.
"Give me the flower," Acacia told Ash, his voice commanding.
Kohlrabi laughs and looks at Ash. "Finally, you came!"
Ash begins to fire a fireball but Acacia is standing in front of him already. Acacia grabs Ash's neck before he launches any fireball.
He slams Ash on the ground, and roots come out of the ground, and they wrap around Ash's body; pinning him on the ground.
"How are you?" Acacia asked Kohlrabi.
"Not fine! Idiot!" Kohlrabi gritted his teeth.
Ash lifts his head, and Acacia is standing in front of him. Ash swallows the lump in his throat. Acacia looks down at him with a calm expression written on his face.
Acacia walks to the side of Ash's face. Acacia crouches and rests his hand on Ash's forehead.
Kohlrabi stands up while gritting his teeth, and his body is shaking from the pain radiating from the burn of his chest. Acacia stops walking in front of him, and he lowers the blue cube at the level of Kohlrabi's eyes.
"At last. We can open the portals! Lead the majesty to this world!" Kohlrabi grinned.
Ash lifts his head. "NO!"
He groans as he flinches from the roots tightening around his body. Acacia puts his hand down while frowning at Ash.
Acacia says before turning his head at Kohlrabi. "Silence."
Meanwhile, in the hospital room, Nelly opens the door. Her eyes widen as her mouth drops.
Seven entities are standing around Nicholas' bed. Each entity resembles a different animal, and they turn their eyes at Nelly.
"We need him."
Nelly gulps as her legs are shaking. A bright white light pierces Nelly's eyes, and she opens her eyes from flinching.
"Where is he?!" Nelly ran towards the bed.
