Chapter 34 - Chapter 34

With a big yawn he got out of bed... only to end up slipping on something and seeing orange. After a few seconds, he sat up and realized that he was still in bed... in his room... in his time. Great, had she fainted or something and was she dreaming now?

"I'm not dreaming of a hospital!" I throw my arms in the air and everything, a little embarrassed by his slow reaction. "And there is not only white!" There were colors... "Maybe I'm overreacting a little, hehe..."

It was a dream and everything, but he still went into the bathroom and changed his clothes, somewhat annoyed to see that apparently someone decided to be funny (his brain probably) and take only God knows where his casual clothes... Well, he put on the most "decent" thing he could find for his mood (he wasn't dreaming of a hospital!, yay!) and went to his office... Once there, he put on a bad face and went to get the corresponding paperwork for the day...

"...It doesn't make any sense!" He made a slight face, great, so happy that he was... If it was quiet they wouldn't come in? Knowing their fate... it would not be saved. "Where did all the paperwork go?"

"I would celebrate, Hayato."

"I can't celebrate, idiot, those roles are important!"

"They're just paper, they're not that important..."

"They are, if they weren't."

He covered his mouth so as not to laugh out loud, Gokudera-san seemed to have received like 100 slaps on the same cheek, while Yamamoto-san seemed to have received a bad surprise. Without thinking much about it, he launched another paper airplane...

"Who the hell did this, and in Ju-Tsuna's office!" Was he panicked or full of anger? I can't tell...

"Ma Ma... surely it was a joke of the children..." Wasn't he smiling? And that miracle? Ah, it was a dream after all.

Silently, he slipped behind the two adults who were in mode: "what the hell happened and when and how did we not notice?", and...

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

And he was smart enough to get out of the way of punches, headbutts and so on... And this time he couldn't help but laugh out loud when he saw both men on the floor, one on top of the other in a somewhat compromising pose. It had come out perfect!

"They should see their faces!, hahahahahaha!" Tsuna calmed down a little when he saw how they were looking at him. "What?"

"...We thought you'd last longer sleeping..." Yamamoto-san commented, somewhat perplexed, but relieved to see that it had simply been him.

"How did you get here, and why did you do that to the paperwork?" Why not, it was a dream so I could do and undo as much as I wanted.

"It's my office, it's you who shouldn't be here without permission." But since when did they respect that? Ah, right: never. "And why not, I was bored... and they are already signed in any way, you just have to unfold them..." He took another one and threw it again, seeing the pirouettes he did in the air before landing on his desk.

"Wait... signed?" Uhg, okay... This dream was strange...

"Well, yes, obviously, Captain Obvious." I was in a very good mood...

"...Sure." For some reason that didn't matter to him, both men were confused. "Are you hungry, or do you want to go out for a while, or are we going to play?"

"That doesn't interest you, does it?" Playing, going out for a while, ha, and then they said he was stupid. "Get out, you have nothing to do here."

"But—"

"Don't you understand? Outside, go out, open the door, walk and close it, go somewhere else..." Did you need more synonyms?

"...Are you upset with us or something...?" Blinking, wait, was it serious?

"Are you serious? Of course I'm not upset... if it was, their butts would be on fire right now." He smiled broadly, a little irritated now.

"Tsuna, why—"

"Come on, stop the farce, no one wants to be here, and I'm in a good mood today, so you can leave now, without any kind of repercussions." This was strange, why were they looking at him so surprised? "By the way... a secret... Tsuna is in Hawaii."

"...Oh, God... Just answer something... What's your age?"

"Sir, you'd think that if you're in a good mood you'd have a good sleep..." And not one that weird... "I'm 24, obviously, morons."

Both men looked at each other in horror, before bowing to him and leaving the place in a hurry. He shrugged, he didn't understand and wouldn't even bother to understand, there were dreams without much meaning from time to time. Thinking about that, he began to collect the paper airplanes to start unfolding them... I should leave them like that, but hey...

"Leave that at that, I'll put someone else with that..." At what point had he entered? He didn't feel it... "Did you have fun?"

"Something..." He raised an eyebrow at the new presence. "What the hell are you doing here? Don't tell me that those two went looking for you..." I didn't know why I was asking, of course they had.

"Well, I came to see you, Tsu." Reborn replied as if nothing had happened, approaching.

"Tsu, what the hell...?" That didn't make sense!

"Tsuna, Tsuna, Tsunayoshi..." Was she making fun of him?

"I'm not Tsunayoshi-sama, he's in Hawaii." And I wasn't planning to go back, for obvious reasons.

"Tsunayoshi-sama?, interesting... is that what you call your self from a few years ago... almost 4 years?"

"Tsk, as if you care..." He grimaced when Reborn pulled him by the hair slightly.

"You may think I don't care about you, but if you do..." Yes, of course...

"Sure, sure, and I'm a Barbie." He pushed the other one, so that he would stop touching him and checking him, he was not sick. "You showed very well that you don't care about me, so stop lying, do what you have to do and leave me alone, I'm not in the mood to deal with your riddles and such..."

"Oh, is that really what you think of me?"

"If you think that this act of innocence you have is going to affect me in your favor, you are wrong, unhappy." Great, so good of a mood I had..." "It's not like if—hey... Hey!"

Reborn only smiled at him, somewhat sad, and to his irritation he continued to pull him by the cheek, and as if that were not enough, when he finished he took his hand and bowed a little to him and said calmly:

"You have to realize that nothing happened today, okay?"

"...Only you have the nerve to ask me for something like that, even in a dream..." And the worst thing is that I was agreeing...

"He, do you still think this is a dream, Tsu?"

"Don't call me that, I'm not him." And it never would be—did they have to rub it in their faces all the time?

"So what do you want me to call you?, you're still Tsu, and you know it..." How conceited...

"As if that had any importance..." He never did, he never would... it's not like a name can change things... "What are you doing?"

"Fixing yourself, a mafia boss can't get out like this..." He felt a nervous twitch in his eyebrow, he was making fun of him...

"Reborn..."

"Huh?"

"Rot in hell, please." He's fed up, he's really fed up. Without thinking much, she pushed him away and left the room.

Going to his room was an invitation to be found, as well as to any other part of the mansion, and he really didn't want to deal with anyone... they had already ruined his good mood, in less than 10 minutes... Well, there was a place he could go and stay a full day without being found... but he had to hurry. It was a good thing that had high resistance to pain, because heck, his feet hurt... and he still had to walk...

"Waaaahhhh..."

He stopped, somewhat confused and irritated, if a baby Lambo came out he was going to kill someone, the last thing he needed was to see a baby Lambo in—OH...

"But what tenderness!" The boy stopped crying and blinked at him, turning his head to the side beautifully.

Well, it wasn't a baby Lambo, but this little creature wouldn't be more than 5 years old... I gave him 4 at most, but even so... I look around, after seeing how the child tried to run/walk towards him, curious. There was no one... Who the hell leaves their child alone in such a large garden?

"And your parents darling?" Without thinking much, Tsuna bent down to take the child in his arms once it had reached his legs. Nor had he been taught not to trust strangers... If this were real, he would have a really good talk with his parents, and that talk would include a few knives, or dynamite, the first thing he found... it would probably be dynamite.

"Hello!" The boy smiled a lot and laughed, after hitting him in the face with one hand.

"Hello little one... What's your name?" One minute... that face... that hair...

"Inari, Inari, hahahaha." Inari... Inari... Why did that name ring a bell?

"Nice to meet you, Inari, nice to meet you." He smiled, and the boy laughed happily. "Do you want to play with me?"

Without really waiting for an answer, he walked into the shade of a tree, and sat down, leaving the child on his lap before hiding his own face with his hands and...

"Boo!" The boy laughed and applauded. "I'm not... Here I am!" The boy had a strong voice, and he was quickly disarmed with laughter...

He honestly didn't know how long he was playing with the boy, and he didn't care in the least, it was funny, and the boy wasn't afraid of him or anything, in any case he just laughed and tried to tease him... that, or try to chase him when he left him on the ground. He walked fast, very fast in his opinion, and apparently had an inexhaustible source of energy... Who would leave such a beautiful and energetic child alone? Dream or not it seemed to him a very cruel thing to do...

"What a smart child you are." The boy smiled and laughed again as he was thrown and saved, clapping his hands cheerfully.

"Without a doubt, you are a love with children." A female voice said right behind him, scaring him and almost causing something bloody... "Oh wow, and overprotective... I knew that nothing bad would happen to Inari if I left him with you, my stupid husband didn't believe it, but look... Inari obviously loves you, doesn't Inari?"

She wasn't scared at all, just rather amused. Any other human being would have had a bad scare to be almost hit in the face in such a brutal way... But she wasn't even surprised. Well, now he knew why the mini Soul Eater in his arms was so familiar...

"Are you crazy or something?" There's a reason why Sasagawa-san thinks his son wouldn't be safe with him, and that "something" was a very good reason in his opinion. "How do you come up with it—"

He blinked, confused, and unintentionally relaxed a little when he heard the boy laughing, very amused, and applauding... obviously he didn't understand what was happening right in front of him, and maybe it was better that way... She just smiled, a somewhat mischievous smile, without removing her fingers from her lips.

"Sawada Tsunayoshi, I know you, I've known you for a long, long time... Maybe I don't really know you, maybe no one wants to tell me what the hell happened..." A slight pause, where he moved his fingers. "However, I know something about you that has never changed and I doubt very much that it will change..." He smiled in a way that scared him a little. "You're as harmless as a teddy bear, unless someone tries to do something stupid to those around you..." that's where you're dangerous, and yet... and yet you are so kind that you give the idiot or idiots another chance..." She smiled again, looking at her son, who had decided that his hair was soft and was worthy of stirring and playing with as he wished. "Am I wrong, Tsunayoshi, or should I say... Give me-Tsuna, you're essentially still the same person... aren't you, fool?

"Don't call me that, I'm not the..." I really couldn't dream hurting, not with the child present. "Don't be fooled by my appearance, I've killed a lot of them after all..." Even if he didn't like it, it was as normal as breathing... "You'd better go, let's pretend this never happened." Ten-ugh...

"Hahahahaha..." The little boy could only laugh, without really understanding, making his mother laugh, and he grimacing.

"...Will you let me go?" He tried to get the boy to let go of his hair, but instead he just grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and playfully slapped him in the face, laughing like nothing had happened... "hehehe..." It was a cute...

"You know..." He didn't bother to look at her; the boy had decided that his pinky was a good toy... At this rate, I wouldn't let go today. "Inari doesn't like strangers..."

"Yes, of course..." About all that, especially taking into account that—

"You're the first stranger he sees, and he doesn't cry immediately, you don't know how many problems he's given us with babysitters." She smiled mischievously at him again. "He likes you."

"Look, I don't like what you're hinting at and I don't even have to listen to you, so, do yourself a favor, take your child and just leave me alone, okay?" I didn't want to have to deal with—

"He, you should listen to me, fool."

"No, I don't have to listen to you, just leave me alone, is that too much to ask?"

"It is, at least for Inari..." Speaking of the boy, he was upset with his mother... seemingly. "Let's go inside, it's time for his snack, and he won't let you go, apparently."

"...You were planning this, weren't you?" For some reason... I felt that this was the truth.

"Actually, something similar. I didn't think Inari liked you, so I saved myself work. Come, let's go at once, you'll take care of feeding him, I'll take care of the diapers... if it is left at all." Apparently, even he would have to do that... that's great... really cool...

"Hahahaha..." I was lucky to be a kid and be so cute, if not... "Chu!, Chu!"

"It's Tsunayoshi, di Tsuna, Tsu—"

"Don't call me that..." How many times did I have to—

"Tsuna!, Tsuna!, Tsuna!, hahahaha, Tsuna!"

"..."

"Hehe, do you not want them to call you anymore—"

"Just shut up." He didn't give a damn about his mother; he was too cute! "And you..." The boy just laughed, apparently the stares of death didn't affect him... "you... you're too cute!" Unable to help himself, he threw it in the air again; he was sure he was smiling like an idiot, but he didn't care...

"And they say you're dangerous..."

"Who is a cute? Who is it? Who is it?"

Again, without any news, what the boy did was laugh and applaud, enjoying all the cuddles, without understanding anything about what was happening. That was a very good life: not understanding anything and being happy.

"UNCLE!" Crash!

"Hi Daisuke." When I grow up, this could become a problem. "And will you keep telling me that you are—"

"Just shut up." Is it that no one understood? Ah, of course... it was a dream! "Dai-chan~"

"Hahahaha."

And just like that, both children looked at each other, and even sparks came out. Well, it wasn't the first time...

"What do you think if the three of us go to play for a while? Maybe we should invite Rukia-chan, the better, isn't that, Dai-chan?" Just in case, he took the boy by the hand and began to pull him in the direction of the game room. If he thought he was strong enough to hold them both in his arms and avoid an accident, he would have done it—

"Hana, have you seen Ina—oh..."

Without really thinking about it, or stopping the newcomer, even though he was the father of the child in his arms, he continued walking as if nothing was happening... or at least it seemed so.

"Here, if something happens to him I'll kill you." I could only do this because the boy wasn't grabbing him by the hair or his shirt..." although that did not prevent the child from pouting from the father's arms. "Na na na, you already had a lot of fun today." Without really thinking about it, he ruffled the boy's hair and with one hand he covered his face before joking: "Boo!"

"Hahahahahahaha!"

"Well, Mario Kart, Dai-chan?"

"I have something better this time, Uncle, I hope you're ready to lose!"

"Oh, really, and what do you give me in return if you lose?"

"A hundred kisses!"

"And you still want me not to win? Well, someone is very confident..."

"If you lose you have to promise me that you will wake up more often!"

"Arouse?" Dreaming about this more often... "Then... you'd better do your best, Dai-chan~" I gently unfurl it, causing the boy to pout.

"Uncle!" If he didn't complain, he would be a little offended, even if the complaint was false.

Before long, they both arrived at the arcade, and in less than 5 minutes, they were sitting with controls in hand and a pack of popcorn that... I honestly wasn't sure where they came from, but I wasn't going to ask.

"Huh, Resident Evil 4?" Seriously?

"You have to get all 5 stars out of this stage with Ada." The boy simply replied with an "innocent" smile on his face.

"...Of course..." Just as bloodthirsty as his father... it was the stadium with Mega Doctor Salvador...

To tell the truth, he never understood why they could have Doctor Salvador to that character... when I was a big guy with a paper bag on my face and a chainsaw... something must have looked better on him than the paper bag... maybe it was just a form of irony... who knows...

"Great..." He looked at the boy out of the corner of his eye, turning the camera; he knew he had a Mega Doctor Salvador nearby, that noise was unmistakable, but... I was sure there must have been about three already. "You killed 10 with one shot!"

"That wasn't a shot..." It was a grenade set on fire with a shotgun shot, followed by more shotgun shots.

The reason for the overkill with a shotgun is that he had to get people out of the way, first because they were in the way, second because they blocked his way, third because they were ugly, fourth because they wanted to kiss him (bite), and fifth... I had to get out of there, but now. The reason? A Mega Doctor Salvador was a few meters away from him, running with a giant chainsaw in hand, and he knew from experience that it didn't matter if he shot at him (even a shotgun, which usually served to get everything out of the way), he would continue as if nothing had happened until he reached him and cut him in two with that beautiful and bloody chainsaw. Now that he thought about it, maybe he needed to think better about his priorities...

"I'm the Matrix..." He muttered to himself, jumping from a height that would kill a normal human being and landing completely unharmed, and dodging some missiles...

"Wow..." Well, yes, who wasn't playing this little hell of a map, with these little hellish hulk guys with chainsaws, and with a lot of military zombies, was amazed and impressed not to see him die...

"Another one out..." With that one there were three dead Mega Doctor Salvador... I was almost certain that, when I killed one, two would come out... but to really know... Anyway, it was a bit difficult to keep track of everything in such a short time, and being aware of everything... "Let's take drugs..." I murmur without emotion. One of the few games where plants of strange origin were used to bring them back to life... and you could combine different colors to create a better one... Yes, for him it was just drugs, although it wasn't like he was going to say that to the boy next to him who had little stars in his eyes...

"Incredible..." Was he impressed that he hadn't been killed yet or the number of dead he had created? I wasn't going to ask him...

"Well, my 100 kisses." I declare, letting go of control for a moment and letting out a deep sigh.

"But the results haven't come out yet—Oh... It's not fair, I thought I had you this time!"

"Kid, you don't want to know how many times I played that scenario while I was in a bad mood..." A few, a few behind closed doors... and a few deaths and curses too; it wasn't easy to keep an eye on everything... "Now, my kisses."

A few minutes later, I didn't know whether to be disappointed or impressed. The reason? When he said kisses, he thought real kisses, on the face, but no, that was not what the boy had in mind... He felt cheated, really cheated, looking at the 100 chocolate kisses...

"...Don't you like it? It took me a while to get so many without mommy noticing..." Ah, she had a sweet tooth... He didn't know which of his parents was worse, really.

"I'm not going to ask how you did it..." Or how cheated he felt. "I don't think I can finish this on my own, though, will you?"

There was no way or way you could eat all that... in an hour at least, and if he tried, he would end up sick and/or bouncing off the walls...

"By the way, have you passed the professional mode yet?" Obviously not with that face of "help me, please?" "Where did you stay?"

Why do I ask, Lord, why do I ask...

"Only you can think of spending the bazooka before this..." Don't cry, don't cry, you're strong, you're smart.

"It's that they always killed me and—"

"Well, you would have done something smarter, how to hit the knee and run, and repeat!" It was a drag, but sometimes it was necessary... that girl was bitten by a fly and died, and that meant: "Game Over" "And didn't you remember this part?"—sorry. He corrected himself who knows how; he had to curse or something, this was very intense...

"Well, no..." At least he had the decency to be ashamed.

"You're lucky that I love you so much!" Or else I would have thrown the controller in his face, the very moment he realized what situation he was in..."

Only he could think of spending the bazooka before this... Let's see, I was in a super small cage, with a blind hulk guy with giant claws who has better hearing than Hibari-san when he's sleeping and a needle falls on the floor, and as if that wasn't enough, in the middle there was a... a... an obstacle and period!, he didn't remember what that was called, and by the way... and by the way, there were people outside the cage, who could give it as if nothing had happened (apparently it was logical that the weapons passed between the bars of the cage as if they were not there)... Conclusion, I was stuck in a place where you take about three steps and you have to turn, with a guy much bigger than you and with a wide range of attack that can detect you if you run, get hit, or you hit... and you can't just go out...

"It opened, it opened!" Miracle!, he had already finished all the drugs and eggs (the logic of these healing objects will never cease to amaze him), and he was almost dead...

"Thank goodness!" At least I had some bombs, or this would be even uglier..." "Dai-chan, always keep shotgun bullets, please..." "Rifle wasn't good for getting people out of the way, and the time you focused your sights you could end up dead." The machine gun doesn't even talk to Mr. Hulk blind, and the pistol... just not. "The same goes for the Magnum... where the hell did you run out of bullets, and better, why didn't you buy the explosive shooter?" That was the best weapon for the big guy, that...

"I'm broke." Don't hit him, don't hit him, don't hit him...

"And can you tell me why...?"

"Because the enemies haven't given much money and I've been buying the first aid can." Lord... Lord, patience, patience...

"Dai-chan, don't get angry, but..." I take a deep breath, and save the game (he returned to that). "USE YOUR BRAIN MORE OFTEN!"

"...H-Hai..."

"Look, I'm not very smart or anything, but I remind you that this is exactly the same game in normal mode, it's just a little more difficult... did you do well in normal?"

"More or less, bullets are hard to come by..." He was tempted to laugh maniacally at that.

"Have you looked at the trees? You can't do it here..." Not even beaten up; they were inside the mansion after all.

"Why would there be de—no, no... are you serious? Are there bullets up there?" Oh kid, there are bullets in stranger places...

"Not exactly... in the nests if you want to be more exact."

"...Why are there nests in those trees? They don't even have leaves, they're dead, they don't have much feeling."

"Dai-chan, since when does it make sense to jump from more than 7 meters high and fall as if nothing happened being a normal human?" The boy opened his mouth, closed it, opened it again, closed it... "See, there are things that don't make sense, so don't kill yourself thinking, just look for fun."

"...I hadn't thought about that..." And I hadn't seen the worst yet... hehe...

"Well, let me do the shopping. This time you will play, if you die I will explain how you will do, okay?"

A few hours later...

"They have missed the—"

"DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE..."

Without noticing, Dai-chan exchanged glances with his father, and then they both looked at him with some fear and amusement. He didn't feel it, running inside the small medical room... no matter how many times he went through this, he was always afraid of that thing. The only good thing is that he had very good aim, because that thing was too close for his mental health. No, just not, he was already more than traumatized with the only time that thing got close enough to open his head (mouth really) in two and show fangs longer than his fingers and with enviable elasticity powers bite his character on the shoulder and... His cousin was worse, but he was more traumatized by the first one, since instead he stretched out his arms, hugged him and from his body the thousand and one thorns were stretched very illogically long, impaling his character everywhere like a pincushion and instantly giving him a: "Game Over".

"...I still don't understand why you're afraid of him..." Dai-chan murmured, impressed by such a display of skill and aim (he had died like 10 times, because he didn't have the time to aim properly, and he had to hit 5 different points, and that thing regenerated quickly). "You killed him in less than a minute..."

"Because I met him, at 2 in the morning, with the lights off, when I was 12 years old... and I died. I don't want to, I just don't want him to come near me." Ironically I had only needed 6 rifle bullets and 2 shotgun bullets. "And we still need the one in the middle of the corridor like a statue..."

"And why did you do that?" Who the hell played something like that with the lights paid?

"Because I didn't want my mother to find out." That, and few things scared her... for one simple reason. "If I have a gun in my hand that works, it's all good..."

"So well that you killed the poor thing without even letting him walk..."

"He's not poor, he's not poor..." "And if he was, he wouldn't care in the least." "And remember, just because you're as bloodthirsty as your father isn't meant I have it, and the fact that I'm fascinated by you instead of scared doesn't apply to me... at least not when I'm young." I sigh deeply, giving him back control. "Watch out for the one in the hallway, although that's a lot easier because you have somewhere to run..."

"Hai~"

"Try to just use the rifle, you have to improve that aim..." Too much time calculating... "and—oh... Hello, I guess, Hibari-san..." What should he do in this situation, and when the hell had he entered?

"Good afternoon, Omnivore..." I raise an eyebrow, that was weird...

"Who the hell are you and what did you do with the real Hibari-san?"

Hearing this, Daisuke burst into laughter while his father gave him the scariest look he had... and failed, epically.

"I'm very sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Alien, but I'm afraid that, if the death sights worked, I wouldn't be here, alive and kicking, at this point in my life..." I laugh a little, but not with fun. "Besides, Hibari-san doesn't give death looks... he bites to death, there's a big difference."

"Tsk..." Oh, a tonfa... "Omnivore..."

"Just one?" The fact that he wasn't anywhere near his best meant he wouldn't be able to put up a good fight. "Don't underestimate me or you'll do badly, if you want to fight..." In truth, it would only take two moves to leave Hibari-san wanting more than to finish him off..."

"Tsk, they missed lunch..." Was that a tick...?

"Annoyed, Hibari-san?" Or perhaps jealous? "I'm not hungry, and you, Dai-chan?"

Now that I thought about it, how was Hibari-san allowing this? It was a dream and all... but, even so, I was more than sure that with how overprotective he was with his son, he would keep them as far away from each other as possible... just like the rest. It wasn't like he blamed them, it was a normal reaction to protect his children from danger... especially if that danger was in human form. The children were very innocent, so they wouldn't suspect someone like him, even though they should, and who incidentally told them himself and they didn't believe him... Well, the parents were there for a reason...

"I do~" Children were children no matter how you looked at them. "Come on, Uncle, there must be something delicious..."

"no, come on, I'll see you in a while, okay?" The pouts didn't work with him anymore, but I gave him a C for the effort...

Once Dai-chan was no longer present, he dropped his smile and began to look at the ceiling; his back already hurt from being in that position...

"Shouldn't you go with him?" Why the hell was he still in the room? He had nothing to do... unless I was going to insult him or hit him or something along those lines... "Huh, I'm not a puppy..." What the hell did the adults in this dream have with groping his hair?

"Hmp..." The worst thing was that I knew where to play... "Come on, you have to eat something."

"Wait, wait, wait..." What did you miss? "Since when do you care...?, uhg, it doesn't matter, just get out..." Was it so hard to understand?

"Hmp, omnivore..." Good God, at last... I was going to give a lawsuit to Morpheus on one of these days...
