"Juudaimee!" Crash!
"Huh, it's too early for this, Sir..." Tsuna yawned deeply, and stretched, or at least tried. Shyly, Tsuna looked up to find two gray eyes, eyes somewhat annoyed and irritated with him. How did he end up like this?
"Eto... Hibari-san... could you let me go?" "I'm not a blanket, nor a giant stuffed animal... I think." "Hibari-san?"
"Omnivore..." The prefect narrowed his eyes even more, making Tsuna wonder if he had done something that bothered him...
"Tsk..." Honestly, Hibari didn't know why he was worried; there were the rest of the herbivores—ah, he remembered the reason.
They couldn't be trusted, simple as that. So many herbivores together, and yet they couldn't stop him from getting drunk, and in such a stupid way too, for a change. And as if that wasn't enough on its own, the baby told him a few hours ago that they couldn't even stop him from getting totally drunk... And he repeated it again: so many herbivores in such a small space and yet they failed in an epic way. He was going to bite them all to death, that was for sure, but first he had to see how bad the dumb Omnivore was... then he would bite him to death for being an idiot.
Without much difficulty, he opened the window and entered the room, seeing a body worn out with exhaustion in a corner of the dark room which he did not bother to identify... he was alive, that was enough, unless he wanted to bite him to death right now, which would not be a very good idea at the moment. Slowly and silently he approached the bed, and placed his palm on the forehead of the one who slept in said bed.
"Tsk..." They couldn't even be sure of the condition of someone unconscious, a new record for herbivores and yet another reason to bite them to death.
I arrange the sheets better, knowing that I really couldn't do much, the boy would wake up with a huge headache, that was certain if even with the moonlight I could see the blush on his cheeks while he was unconscious. How much had he drunk anyway, and from where? He would bite even the baby to death from—
"Dai-chan?" The figure murmured on the bed, taking him by the sleeve and half getting up, only to be stopped by the prefect.
"Tsk..." What a drunk I was...
"Dai-chan?" He sounded a little bewildered and half asleep.
Hibari was about to ask him who the hell Dai-chan was, but he didn't get the chance, as Tsuna, with unexpected strength in that state, pulled him down on him. It only happened because the prefect had not expected that from Tsuna, and what happened either: Tsuna pushed him to the side of him, and with very clumsy movements wrapped him up as if he were a small child. Hibari could not help but stare at him, expressionless and not knowing what to think of all this, even as Tsuna playfully ruffled his hair. Before he saw it coming, Tsuna had hugged him like a teddy bear and kissed him on the forehead awkwardly, making Hibari perfectly capable of smelling the alcohol on his breath and making a slight, very slight, grimace at the smell.
"You look like... you look so much like your father..." Oh great, who the hell was the Omnivore confusing or comparing him to or both? "Dai-chan..." A yawn, one with a very bad smell. Hibari didn't beat him out of curiosity... but then he would not be saved, for anything in the world. "Kyouka must be so proud of you, kid..."
And so, the Tenth Vongola fell asleep again, using his cloud guardian as a pillow, leaving a Hibari in "information processing..." for most of the night, and wanting to bite him to death many times in a row by doing this and then going to sleep as if nothing happened.
"Hibari-san?" Tsuna grimaced, what a headache... What the hell had happened yesterday?
"Omnivore..." Tsuna shuddered at the sudden bloodlust of the prefect, who was now on top of him, grabbing him by the wrists so that he would not escape.
The truth (although Tsuna would not tell him), the gesture was somewhat useless, he could escape at any moment... if he wanted to. Still, to avoid more unnecessary trouble and at least get an idea of what the hell was going on, Tsuna stayed where he was... Something awkward, of course. All he wanted at that moment was something for his headache... If he didn't know himself, he would say he got drunk. It wasn't that he disliked alcohol; he simply preferred chocolate and/or ice cream a thousand times over alcohol... Of course, he wouldn't say that at a party or in front of someone in his family, let alone in front of Reborn, who surely wouldn't kill him, but would make him suffer in unspeakable ways for a long time before killing him and then reviving him and asking him if he'd learned his lesson...
"Omnivore... Who is Dai-chan?" Actually, that wasn't a question, it was more of a demand.
"Well, it's a boy." "Kotazo-san said to him or spoke in his sleep again."
"Obviously..." Hibari wasn't going to tell him what happened, just not. "Details, or I'll bite you to death here and now..."
"Eh..." He didn't want to fight, especially with the headache he had on top of him... He hadn't even bathed for God's sake! "And for that you have to... Do this?" It was incredibly uncomfortable.
"..." Gaze of Death Intensified.
"Hey, okay, okay, don't be mad..." "Now what the hell did he tell him?" "Daisuke... he's a 5-year-old boy, if I remember correctly..." "What the hell happened yesterday?, and why did I wake up with Hibari-san in my bed? It's good that I know that nothing bad happened..." "And he's a lot like you, though he's incredibly cute at the same time..." If you know it's a dream of mine, don't you?
Hibari nodded, but inside he could only roll his eyes and tell him stupid. Dream? If not, if it were so I wouldn't have confused it so ugly... much less knowing that he is a Tsuna of the future. If it weren't for the charade on both sides, Hibari would have thrown him out of the window and then gone out to bite him to death for lying so blatantly. At this rate I would need new tonfas for tomorrow, or perhaps even for the afternoon.
"Well... it was your son, Hibari-san." "Moment two or maybe three times more awkward approaching in 3, 2, 1..." "Can I ask—"
"No." Tsuna blinked, "Uh, okay... What the hell happened yesterday?" "Continuous."
"What else do you want to be?"
"All." A tonfa on the neck. That wasn't scary in itself, but...
"Hibari-san... What else do you want me to tell you? It's a dream, it's not real, you know?" "Also, the last time I saw that child was when I was two and I said daddy and my tuna... What can I say about that? What was incredibly cute? What was a walking cutie with your bloodlust included?"
"Omnivore..." He wasn't—Blam!
"Good morning, bunny, it's time to wake up—Oh, wow..." Byakuran smiled cheekily, maliciously, and took out his phone. "I don't expect this from you, cloud, especially with a bunny in bad condition, perfect opportunity to take advantage, am I wrong?"
And so, Tsuna was finally able to sit back in peace and witness his room once again being beaten to death, to put it mildly, once again. Both fighters were lucky that Tsuna had a headache, or he had gotten upset and probably insulted them very ugly politely or worse: he would have grabbed them by the neck and taken them out of the house... kicking if necessary. Instead of that particular scenario, what happened was that Tsuna got up and left the room with a face that said, "kill yourselves if you want, I don't care," went down to the kitchen, made himself a coffee, and sat on the sofa in the living room, completely ignoring the rest of those present in the house. At that time he didn't want to deal with anyone; he just wanted his coffee... and he would probably lie on the couch to try to sleep, or just play with Natsu, at least until his headache went down... then I would look for answers...
"Juuudaimmeeee!"
"Gokudera-kun, shut up." It was the first thing that came out of Tsuna's lips, without permission.
Gokudera, and Emma who was coming behind, made a face... As they had expected, no one was really hurt. It didn't help that there were two people killing each other upstairs... Lord, that poor house had been repaired so much that perhaps they should buy it new...
"I'm very sorry, Juudaime..." Tsuna opened her eyes when she felt someone put their hand on her forehead. "Have, it will make you feel better."
"I'm not sick... I think." I add the last one because he wasn't really sure, but he still took the pills. "Did I get drunk by chance?" It was the only thing that came to mind...
"Yes, Bya-kun's fault..." Emma grimaced and looked up the stairs... If it hadn't been for him and the alcoholic chocolates, nothing would have happened.
"Ah..." was the simple answer, combined with an almost expressionless face. "Anything I should know?" It must have been a disaster..." The last time he got drunk no one wanted to tell him what he did, but it was a little hard to hide because the indoor pool was under repair for almost a month.
"Ehhh..." What the hell were they telling him? "Not much... although..."
"No one believes you." Was the bored response of Tsuna, who only took another sip of her coffee.
"Well, nothing serious really happened..." "Apart from the fact that you broke down in tears and wails and questions...", Emma thought with a slight grimace; there was no way they would say that to her, just not. "Although... Tsuna-kun... you are, perhaps, too affectionate a drunk..."
"Affectionate?" Along with the question, a rather surprised face made its appearance. "Affectionate, me?" Officially, his brain was short-circuited.
"Yes, boss, he was incredibly affectionate, to the point of being cloying..." And most of the time he was unconscious...
"That... it doesn't make much sense..." "If I get very affectionate drunk... How do large-scale disasters end up happening without any explanation? The explanation is that no one tells me, but even so..."
"It was surprising, really." "Why does he say that it doesn't make much sense?" they both thought, curious and somewhat worried at that phrase. "You didn't let anyone go, and you always sought physical contact, you were always hugging someone..." Tsuna's face was priceless; he seemed to have been slapped several times. "I won't lie, it was awkward and tender at the same time... You didn't look drunk. Alone... there was a small detail..."
"What detail?" No one ever wanted to tell him anything, so...
"You were scary, if tenderness didn't work... you went on to scare until you got what you wanted, then you went back to being a cute..." Tsuna broke out in a cold sweat when he saw that Gokudera took his phone and looked for a picture of him... "You came to look like this character once, just because one of us wanted to leave..."
"...Gasai Yuno..." Tsuna paused, staring at the image for at least a full minute. "Basically... did I become Yandere?" "No, that didn't make much sense. "No, the Yandere are people who obsess over the person or object of their love..." Tsuna paused again, a little uncomfortable. "Let me get this straight... I was cute and cuddly, extremely affectionate in seeking physical contact (I'm going to assume friendly, thank you very much), and if someone tried to walk away or do something I didn't like, I would become terrifying, threatening—"
"Cute, cute, with great killing intent, and frankly terrorized and intimidated the vast majority of us without a hitch. You didn't want to be alone, we think... It's not that you really did much; you just hugged us and looked for cuddles here and there; it was quite... Strange and uncomfortable, we're not going to lie, but nothing more serious than a scare here and there. You were an easy drunk to deal with..." The easy one was debatable, because everything was fine as long as no one did anything outside of what he wanted... Was it luck that he only wanted mostly company?
"That..." "That still doesn't make much sense... I mean, I believe them, but... didn't it cause some kind of mass destruction or something?" "Do not cause any misfortune, accident, destruction...?"
"No, not at all." Was that the problem? Did he use to destroy anything and become aggressive earlier in his time...? Too bad they couldn't ask. "At least not you directly."
"Directly, what do you mean by that?" "In short, if there was chaos and destruction... but wasn't it, if it wasn't me..."
"Well, if there were disasters..." Gokudera looked away; he was a victim/cause after all... "But it could be said that they were all because of you, not caused by you. For example, many tried to kill Byakuran for giving you alcoholic chocolates without saying anything..."
"...Already... I see..." "In a nutshell... it was never me... I was never the one who did the destruction... but I was the reason, the cause... And considering how overprotective and jealous kids can be, I shouldn't be surprised... Surely they never told me anything, nothing at all, out of shame, or because they didn't want to admit anything... Although this would also explain why they did not so covertly keep things away from me with alcohol..." "Didn't anything worse happen?"
"Most of it has already been repaired, there were no deaths, and the injured were treated, don't worry about what happened..." Emma smiled a little uncomfortably as she said: "Tsuna-kun, it's not that I don't want you not to drink alcohol or anything, but please... Don't get drunk again; it wasn't easy to deal with you, I admit, no matter how cute and tender you are, you get scared when you want, and you get to the point of becoming cloying; it's uncomfortable..." It wasn't to offend him or anything, but—
"I understand, I'm very sorry; it wasn't my intention to put you through something like that, or to earn this headache..." But I was much calmer in getting some answers to questions you've had for years. "It's understandable, you don't have to give me explanations..." "From the way they described me, I was worse than Bianchi at his wedding..."
"Thank you..." Because no one really wanted to see him cry like that again; no one wanted to see him in such a pitiful way; no one wanted to see him so destroyed... no matter how many answers or things they might get from him in that state. Just nothing was worth it, nothing was worth seeing it that way...
"Well, finished this matter..." The two boys looked at Gokudera now, not knowing what to expect. "How about we go to have something for breakfast, Juudaime? The girls came to ask about you this morning, and invited us to accompany them to the mall if it was okay with you."
"Gokudera-kun, if you know that what they really asked for was that we accompany them shopping, right?" Neither Gokudera nor Emma understood where Tsuna was going with that... and Tsuna... Tsuna didn't want to explain to them. "You'll understand, I'm sure." "A long sigh, what a start to the day..." "Give me a moment to get ready and we can go, if you don't mind."
Without waiting for an answer, Tsuna got up and went to the kitchen to wash the cup of coffee, and then went to his room, completely ignoring the two boys destroying everything in their path... Or so it seemed, because the next second both boys had been tied up and hung outside the window with steel chains or something even stronger, because they couldn't free themselves. Now ignoring the grunts, chain strokes, mocking comments, threatening comments, and somewhat sexual comments, Tsuna did what he had left to do. Once he felt comfortable and presentable to go out on what he would call a boring day (shopping wasn't an activity he enjoyed, unless it was for video games or his prized anime), he set out to go out...
"Uh?" Tsuna blinked, but bent down to pick up the envelope that was on the floor... under his poor and unrecognizable bedside table.
Tsuna wasn't sure how long he spent standing there like an idiot, and he didn't care. Who knows how many times that morning he wondered what the hell had happened the day before, because in his hands was nothing more and nothing less than the contract he had been upset about for days... The contract was legitimate, and it had all the clauses he had wanted and hoped for... Not everything could be in his favor; in that he was very clear. As if that wasn't enough, the envelope also contained a debit card in his name... with apparently enough content to buy a house. Simply put, that would mean she would no longer have to ask her mom for money, negotiate, and/or use her grandfather or Reborn if she wanted to buy something... Honestly, that was a lot more money than he'd expected; he'd just wanted enough to invite his friends over once in a while, or invite them to the movies or something without having to be pulling strings here and there...
While it was true that he was a good businessman, the more tools he had at hand the better, that and he didn't like to be asking his grandfather for favors or using him all the time... Now, I should be happy and everything else... but it wasn't. The reason for this was simple, but at the same time it was... strange, because he was almost certain that no one would believe or understand him. It wasn't like he'd ever said it; he wouldn't dare, at first because he valued his life, and now because it wasn't worth it. The reason was this: every time something good happened to him with no apparent explanation, something bad would happen later, whether it was pure coincidence, accident, or consequences. If I needed to cite an example, it would be their training, as they were the simplest, especially those of survival or endurance.
The survival ones... If something like a lighter or food was found by "coincidence," something bad would happen afterwards, as if something good had been found was nothing more than a bad omen. In the case of the lighter... It didn't take long for a carcass, a tiger and its cubs to be found. Needless to say, I end up much worse off than before I found him. With food... it was a good thing that he didn't eat it, but tried to use it as a trap... which didn't work either. What happened? Well, she was poisoned... I wasn't sure who had done something like that yet, but I didn't think it was Reborn. I would have died within hours, without proper treatment, if I had eaten that... and Reborn didn't want him dead; he was sure of that. In the endurance ones he learned the hard way that, if by chance he got a break, he should prepare for something stronger and very little or not at all pleasant.
In fact, those were only small things, but since then every time something good happened to him for no apparent reason he couldn't help but worry. Now, it wasn't necessarily a rule that exclusively the good had to happen first for no apparent reason, and then the bad. Sometimes it had happened the other way around... None of the cases pleased him, to tell the truth. Although it wasn't like I could choose or avoid them... Sometimes it was simply impossible to get out of whatever was going to happen, and he knew that very well. At the time, I was sure it was the second case... something bad had happened first, and this, the good, was in response to that... Therefore, the reason for this was the bad thing that had happened. Why did he believe this? Simple, he remembered almost nothing from the previous day; he only half remembered having greeted Bya-kun and the others and the rest was blurred or non-existent.
And meeting Reborn... Reborn wouldn't do something just because; something must have happened, something he wasn't told... or something that caught Reborn's attention. However, it was almost impossible for him to know now... if he had been lied to, it would be impossible, if it was by omission, perhaps. If it were anyone else, like your grandfather... I would say that it was an omission. He only had one question, assuming from that moment that it would be impossible for him to know what had happened: was it something bad for him or that he made it known that he was not the Tsuna of that time in a very obvious way? He only had something left to do in that situation... observe.
He couldn't ask directly; it was a bad idea, not to mention that if he had been lied to it was for a reason. Whatever the reason, it must be important, and if they thought it was important... there would be no way or manner in which they would give in; they were stubborn... especially if they were taking care of him; it was frustrating at times. This time, I didn't think I had a reason that could take the other out of the game... In this kind of situation, Reborn had taught him that he should trust his family, since they loved him very much and would seek to protect and care for him as he did with them... Tsuna couldn't help but ask how Reborn would feel, or what he would say if he knew that he, once again, found himself unable to simply let them do what they believed was best. Would you think I was a bad boss, a bad friend? Would you think I was a bad student? Maybe I would think that... had wasted her time with him?
If he found himself unable to let them do what they thought was best, to him, that probably just meant that he didn't trust them... Even so, knowing what he knew and had analyzed before, he would not remain calm, he did not accept... in short, he didn't trust them, one of the most important things Reborn taught him. Trust, loyalty... He didn't have the first, and he certainly didn't expect loyalty from anyone... even in this time. Should he suppose that Reborn would think that he had wasted his time on someone like him? Probably, since he couldn't even follow his most important teachings... Was it a bad thing for him to wonder what would happen, what he would say, and what Reborn would think if he knew this, or the rest of his family, if he could be called that?
He didn't care as much about his family as he should; as long as they were well and happy, he didn't care at all about what they thought of him, what they did with him, or what they said to him... If he remembered correctly, at this time, Gokudera would believe that he was joking, go into denial, then become depressed... And then he would try to find the causes of why his boss didn't trust him and try to change and assure his boss that no matter what, he would still be his ever-faithful right hand. Yamamoto wouldn't take it very well, but he would joke, and then when they were alone he would drop his smile for once and tell him that he would wait as long as it took, without pressure, until he won his trust. Chrome wouldn't take it very well either, but he'd just smile at her, and tell her that she wasn't upset or anything, that it was okay if he didn't trust her. Mukuro... He would just smile smugly, tell her something about her watching her agreement and just leave, but inside he would be somewhat hurt and thinking that all mobsters were the same.
Hibari wouldn't say anything to him; he would just bite him to death; he would be more aware of him for a while without him noticing, but inside he would surely be upset and hurt, above all annoyed... since, even if it was not said or was covered up by excuses, Hibari had protected and helped him several times and vice versa. Lambo... He would cry, a lot, and the bazooka would be involved, but nothing more serious. Ryohei... He would shed a few tears, give him a speech, and then try to teach him that it was to trust others to the extreme. The girls... they would be hurt and disappointed in him. Fuuta would surely not believe him; he would smile falsely and start investigating... look for the reasons for that, since... He wouldn't believe that the distrust was just because, not after being protected and included in the family as a younger brother. His grandfather would be disappointed in him, there was no doubt about that... and he would be asking Reborn and the external members of the family.
Spanner and the others... They would smile a little and shrug their shoulders, a little hurt, but knowing that something must have happened, they would give him the more time he needed. The Arcobaleños... Needless to say, some would be very upset, some would not believe him, and when they did they would be hurt and curious, and others would pretend not to care at all. Dino, he wouldn't believe, and would end up hurt, and then try to see what happened and see what he could do to help, the same as Emma... but Emma would be more understanding, much more than any of the above, and if she asked for space, he would give it to her without asking many questions. The one who really didn't know was Reborn, because he was a somewhat unpredictable person... If I had to bet, I'd say I'd look at him with mild killing intent and ask him seriously if he was sure he didn't trust them. Once Reborn had his answer, the real answer, he would hide his hat with his eyes and leave without saying a word, and then start planning, analyzing and looking for where the problem came from. However, that was just a guess; he really had no idea what could happen... in any case, it might as well be Reborn who would know what he would do; he had always been after all...
"Very good, enough..." I would think about the contract later. "Down with you two." That said, he grabbed the chain at one end and pulled, making them both fall into the garden in front of the house. It wasn't very tall, so they would be fine.
Ignoring Hibari's death look, Bya-kun's somewhat annoyed look, and the way the other two (surprised) were looking at him, he left the house, as if nothing bad had happened, and not before saying:
"Don't destroy my room next time, will you?, please and thank you." He was really so used to anything being destroyed, even his room or his office that he was already numbed... but it still irritated him.
He didn't go around destroying anyone's house, room, whatever, because he simply wanted to, because someone bothered him, because he didn't like someone, because he saw something he didn't like, among other reasons. Sure, of course... He was the least fond of family destruction, though that was probably conditioned in later years to paperwork, and in the rest of his life to how pathetic and useless he was. He couldn't even get upset or go against anyone without thinking about all the consequences that would befall him... He wasn't a masochist, so a lot of times he used to think about something 5 times before saying it if he knew he had the slightest thing that might annoy one of his bloodthirstiest friends or his tutor, or that might encourage them to fight. Although he was not going to deny that many times that was worth nothing; if they wanted to fight or hit him or something... they would do it and that's it. What could he say? Cowardice was common to him, and then habit didn't help. Although it wasn't like most of the time they did it on purpose, it was the opposite, really... Except for Reborn; he was a sadist, that was his ultimate conclusion, and no one would change his mind.
"Hey, wait for us!" Tsuna smiled slightly; he wasn't running or anything, he was walking normally.
"Will we go look for Yamamoto, or is it just the three of us and the girls?" If they told him it was just them, it seemed very strange to him since Yamamoto was the pacifist and the kindest..." he didn't count; he joked and made himself feel normally... In fact, he used to "get lost", whatever it was so that he wouldn't have to accompany anyone to go shopping for roba... or that they accompanied him to buy clothes; he had enough memories with his mother...
"He's already there, I think; the girls asked us the favor of calling him, Juudaime." This was said with a frown. On the one hand, he was happy to see his boss a little more "normal", but that didn't mean that he liked to share his presence with the baseball player... Not even with the other boy, but I couldn't do anything about it. If his boss was happy with his presence, he wouldn't object.
"I see..." It seemed very strange to him if he hadn't been invited... "Isn't anyone else coming?"
"As far as we know, no." Tsuna laughed a little; they could always appear from the same time.
"Don't forget me!"
"Shouldn't you be with Bya-kun?" Tsuna smiled a little more; he didn't even finish thinking about it and someone else had appeared.
"He's fighting with Hibari-san..." And he wasn't going to stay there to get hurt by accident... Besides, he wanted to keep an eye on Tsuna; the hangover must not have been pleasant and they were going to take him for a walk... Sometimes he didn't understand Tsuna's friends. "Something about you and Hibari-san being—"
"Nothing happened; Hibari-san was just upset with me..." "What friends I have, really..." "The compromising position was nothing more than keeping me prisoner, as they say, so that I would not escape... he was asking me questions about Dai-chan." "He probably sleeps... but who knows..."
"Ah, I had already been a little worried..." What a relief... and what a great relief that Tsuna silenced Gokudera with a death stare.
"Worried about being abused?" It was a half-joke. "I'm fine, nothing happened, and Hibari-san would never do anything like that..." "I never had and I never would... If I had to say what kind of relationship we had... Hibari-san was like a very overprotective elder brother; he would never hurt me unless he wanted to fight me or teach me a lesson... at least, in those times." "Don't take Bya-kun so seriously; you know as well as I do that he loves to annoy others..." "Maybe a little too much... But I can't blame him; it's a lot of fun to do."
