His hand tugs on mine before I can leave. "Stay, please."
His voice is gentler now and his hand is warm on mine. I turn around to face him, and he just looks down, still not meeting my gaze.
"Don't go. Stay here. I will leave if you want. But you don't go". His words melt my heart, and whatever hurt I felt because of his harsh words vanishes instantly.
Why am I so easy?
I sigh before removing his hand from mine. He finally looks up at me. "I don't want you to leave. This is your room as you so kindly reminded me".
I can't help but taunt him, and he looks away, avoiding my eyes. Serves you right, pretty boy.
"Since I have moved in with the purpose of sharing the room with you, it's only fair we follow through with it. None of us need to leave. But we have to respect each other, right?" He nods his head at my question.
I continue. "We can be roommates, respect each other's boundaries, and co-exist like normal adults sharing each other's space."
