The hue catches my eyes, and it doesn't look like much of a fire yet. It can still be controlled.
"Lyra, where is the fire extinguisher?" Lyra doesn't spare me a glance before bolting to a nook on the left. I follow after her, making sure no one is hiding there waiting to ambush her.
Whoever lit the fire likely wasn't expecting me and Lyra to be here at this moment. It looks like they were taking their time with it. I see the fire extinguisher in the corner of the nook and take it out.
"Stay here." I push Lyra inside the nook, not wanting her to be exposed to the flames, but just as I turn around to go back, she passes me and stomps ahead. Her steps are heavy with rage. This brave little thing is going to get herself killed someday.
<'She won't. She's strong.' Seth dreamily sighs.
"I know that. Now. But you knew that already, didn't you?" I ask him once I realise that he was very quiet when Lyra told me the truth. He was already aware of everything yet didn't tell me.
