Chapter 12
"That was so satisfying." Max said as he heaved a sigh of relief while laying beside Lizzy's mum who had her face all flustered.
"That was the best sex I ever had in five years." Lizzy's mum exclaimed out as she reminisced what she had just done with Max.
"Huh? In five years?" Max asked as he quickly turned around and lay on his side staring at Lizzy's mum. "What do you mean? Where's Lizzy's dad?"
"Uhm…" Lizzy's mum muttered and then she turned around, tears dropped down her eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Max.
"I'm so sorry ma'am. I really didn't mean to reopen old wounds. I was just curious but I should have known better than to ask stupid questions." Max scolded himself when Lizzy's mum just turned around with a forced smile on her face.
"It's actually nothing. I just felt saddened after remembering the betrayal I faced. And please, just call me Camila. We are now way past the formal greetings." Lizzy's mum said as she smiled at Max.
"Well the name is Ma…" Max quickly trailed off and then smiled back at Camila. "The name is Damian."
*Tring!*
{Draconic alias noted: Whenever hosts take up his Draconic form, he would go by the name; Damian}
Max didn't check it out as he just waved his hand in the air dismissing the screen.
"Well Damian, I and Lizzy's dad parted away five years ago after I caught him cheating with a particular woman thrice in our matrimonial bed. I couldn't take it anymore so I just left him.
Ever since then, I have been single trying my best to give Lizzy the best upbringing she could get. And whenever I'm in the mood, I just please myself like you stumbled upon me. That's why I installed soundproof mechanism in my room." Camila explained with a soft sigh as she sat upright while Max did the same.
"So you have no one currently?" Max asked and Camila shook her head.
"I couldn't bring myself to cheat on my husband even though we are not together anymore. The vows we took always echoed in my mind stopping me from having anyone hence I resulted to self pleasing myself.
I really don't know what happened today and why I did all what I did with you." Camila said as she held her hair in frustration after remembering all the adventures she just had with Max.
"So tell me something." Max said as he leaned closer, his face almost reaching Camila's neck as he whispered. "Did you regret all we did just now? Do you regret any of it?"
"Heck no!" Camila quickly interjected as she spun around to see Max's face close to hers and her cheeks flustered again. "I enjoyed every single bit of it and I don't know why, there's no regret in my heart whatsoever."
"But…"
"But what?" Max asked with a raised eyebrow as he leaned back, away from Camila.
"I still feel this slight pain in my chest. It still feels like I betrayed my husband somewhat." Camila sighed.
"Quick one." Max said as he stood up from the bed, his eight inches back to normal and dangling around. "Where is this ex of yours now? What is he doing?"
"He is already married to the woman two years ago and I think they have a child together now." Camila sighed as she remembered the heartache, pain and hurt she felt the day she received the news.
"Did he ever for one day ask of Lizzy's wellbeing?" Max asked and Camila's eyes became slightly moist.
"No." She croaked out.
"He never asked of Lizzy, never cared for the family bond you all shared, or the vows you took. He is happily married with a kid or two right now and you are keeping your life on hold for him?" Max asked with a raised eyebrow as he shook his head in disappointment.
It looked like Max's words got to Camila slightly as tears were now cascading down her cheeks freely.
"Look at you. You are so beautiful despite being the mother of a young woman like Lizzy. You could literally turn heads with just your figure and pull any man you want or desire. But you are holding yourself back because of a bond which the other party didn't hold onto.
In a relationship, it takes two to make it work not one. You need to stop holding onto the past and work towards the future. For you, your happiness, your peace of mind, your satisfaction and most especially, for Lizzy." Max said with a sigh and then he scanned the room.
While Camila was sobbing in her palms as Max's words struck a cord or two in her.
"Where's the bathroom? I want to clean up." Max said and without looking up, she pointed in a direction and Max walked towards it.
Opening up the door, he turned around to face Camila who was still sobbing quietly.
"The past is in the past. Let it go, focus on the present and the future. And you will be happy." Max said and then walked into the bathroom and immediately he did, a notification flashed in front of his face.
{Women conquered: 1}
{Details!}
{Name: Camila}
{Age: 30}
"Huh?" Max muttered as he entered into the shower while dispersing the notification from his view.
Meanwhile in the room, Camila glanced up after listening to Max's last words. She wiped her face clean of tears and then stared at the bathroom door.
"He is right. I can't keep on holding onto the past, it has hurt me enough already. For the past 5 years, I was hurting everyday. Enough is enough, I need to end this now. And I think I found my guy." Camila mumbled as she stared at the bathroom door with a smile on her face.
She scanned the room and then walked towards a small drawer beside her bed. She fumbled through it and then pulled out something wrapped in paper and then tucked in nicely into Max's pants' pocket with a wide smile on her face.
