The morning came to the Dragon King's realm.
Somewhere down one of the corridors, a dragon let out a sound that was somewhere between a groan and a yawn.
Aiden was already up, and currently moved through the eastern wing of the castle until he came to a specific room.
Then he pushed the door open to find the sight of the Amazon, Aeris. Actually, he was looking to meet her.
Aeris was sitting on the floor in the center of the room with her legs crossed and her eyes open, staring at the Djinn opposite her. Her twin blades, the Sciels, were laid across her knees.
Her Djinn floated a few meters away, completely still, and staring back at her. And they both looked at each other doing nothing.
The Djinn itself was a dense, broad thing. Four arms. A body like compressed stone wrapped in slow-moving energy. It had no face to speak of, just a flat surface where a face would usually be, with two deep indentations that glowed faintly orange.
