Alicia Majestine lived in Kakaszasha. She was fourteen. Despite her age, she was knowledgeable and creative. Princesses were supposed to have powers at the age of thirteen, but little Alicia still hasn't received them.
"Your Majesty, a dragon has come to destroy our land!" Said a soldier. The Queen stood up tall. "It won't destroy our world, nor will we destroy it. We keep it in a cage. Please do not hurt him." The soldier looked surprised. The Queen used him for the dragon. How did the Queen know? The Soldier nodded and walked fast outside of the room. The Queen looked outside her glass window. She closed the curtains. "M-ma?" Alicia woke up. 'Wh-what's happening?" She asked. "Nothing, dear." The Queen replied calmly. "O-okay. I'm starving, what can I eat, mother?" Alicia asked. The queen gave her a soft smile. "Please don't say starving. Say 'hungry' or 'I want to eat'. And breakfast is downstairs." Alicia nodded and walked elegantly downstairs. But as she was walking, she saw the door that the Queen told her not to go into. She tried to ignore, but she couldn't. She walked towards the wooden door. She put her ears close to the door and heard grinning. Just as she was going to open the door, their maid came. "Ms. Majestine, what were you doing?" She asked politely. "Um, nothing," Alicia replied. "You were not planning to open the door, correct?" Alicia nodded and walked downstairs. That was close. Maybe next time. She thought. She had her big, delicious breakfast, but she spotted something. The maid was throwing food into the door and kicking....something? Alicia ignored it and kept having her breakfast.
Then, it was night. She slept soundly. But it was the next day. Everyone looked worried. "What has happened?" Alicia asked a soldier. "Um, nothing. Your mother went outside as usual. She's on a trip." Replied the soldier. "Oh? She didn't tell me. Alright then. Thank you for answering." "Of course, young princess." Everyone was so busy that it was the perfect opportunity to open the door. She went close and opened it. Suddenly, she heard a scream, and that scream made her fall. "No food, no food, PLEASE! I HATE THE RAW MEAT, DON'T MAKE ME EAT IT, PLEASE!" Alicia looked confused. She saw a girl, brown hair, ocean blue eyes, and dirty brown, ripped clothes. Her hands and feet were chained. "Hello." Alicia spoke. The girl opened her eye, and another. "WHO ARE YOU?" She asked loudly. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Alicia Majestine. May I ask who you are, please?" She spoke calmly. "I-I'm Lestina Porise." Lestina seemed to already feel comfortable around Alicia. "I'm the Queen's daughter. And you are?" Lestina looked afraid. "Oh, don't be scared, please. I'm not going to hurt you or give you bad, rotten food." "I-I'm an orphan. The next thing I knew, I was trapped, here." "Um, interesting story of yours. Okay, I will free you, but please be quiet and promise me not to hurt me. You could also be my friend if you'd like." Lestina nodded. Alicia freed her. "Thank you." "Bruises. Soldiers! Come to my room, Lestina! Quick!" She followed Alicia to her room. "Shh~ The soldier will come in here anytime now, hide under the bed, don't speak a word, or we both will be in trouble." Lestina hid under the bed. The soldier came and asked if she had seen someone. But Alicia shook her head. Lestina came out. Alicia explained about the trip. At this moment, Lestina knew that her mother was missing, so she told her. Alicia was very shocked and went to confront the guards. "HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL THE PRINCESS THAT HER MOTHER WENT MISSING?! I WILL COME WITH YOU TO FIND HER!" The guards disagreed and didn't let her. "BUT YOU HAVE TO LET ME!" She shouted, but they still didn't allow. No matter how much she cried and yelled, the guards wouldn't change their mind. She saw Lestina in her room. "I'm sorry, let's sneak out ourselves." Alicia agreed, and smiled. It was going to be an adventure.
