Chapter 2: The Green Wood Academy
(Writing is quite enjoyable, just starting this story makes me excited)
"Green Wood Academy"
A prestigious academy in the country where all geniuses and experts emerge from studying in the academy.
Everyone believes that just by entering school, and after graduation, a brand-new person will emerge. This is the school, an academy that represents the country.
Irish Wilson, who had passed the entrance exam and stepped into the Green Wood Academy. Who would not be happy for him? His new life and his future dream as a great Scientist.
Na-ah! That was just his delusional dream. He, who passed the exam by luck, wants to be a science expert? He even graduated with a passing general average, and he wants to be something like that?
Well, he is not really dumb, or just, he was just so focused, focused on the wonders of the world, on his novel, manga, anime, and whatever that would be. He is just so well in that field that his study is being abandoned, but at least now he is determined to study well for his future.
"I just want to study well, get a job, and buy the limited-edition manga fortune edition." Irish is expressing his genuine thoughts while walking on the campus.
This is really hard; someone who is very fond of those things can't even get over it. To think he will study well and get a job, just for his limited-edition dream.
Well, we can't ignore him; he is the main character in this story. Let's just start his journey to his dream.
After some sort of ceremony, Irish looking for something in the lobby, it looks like he's looking for his room.
"Hmm... Building 1, Room 4, Class 3," he was muttering for every room he passed through.
After a few minutes, he arrived in his classroom. The noise of chatter and laughter resounded throughout the whole room. He gulped after some thought, and he entered.
He's just going to enter, but suddenly...
"He-llo!"
A cute sound from a girl, sounds like a kitten that what something to eat from its owner.
Gasps!
He was startled for a moment; a girl of average height, around 148 cm, appeared from the door. A twinkle eyes, some mild lipstick, seems to be a beauty from the class. But it was not as attractive as the girl he saw on the bus. Of course, that girl might be his delusional ideal girl.
"Hello! Are you also from this class? Hi, my name is Jess, Jess Monika." A sudden introduction from the girl.
"Hi! You can just call me Irish!" Being overwhelmed by the introduction, he also introduced himself.
While having a conversation with this kitten-like girl, he noticed something inside.
That's...
...
It seems to be all the students are looking at him. Well, he is quite handsome, not very, but it's okay. They quickly turned around and went back to what they were doing.
He sat at the back as usual, then everyone's phone started ringing. It was like when a typhoon strikes and warnings keep ringing.
The difference is, the weather outside is very clear, and not even a slight dark cloud has occurred.
This puzzled everyone.
Ding!
[Disaster will strike on your planet]
Ding!
[Due to an unexpected occurrence, a possible solution is currently being assessed]
Ding!
[The strike will occur after three hours]
Ding!
[Please be prepared!]
This really unexpected, it doesn't even tell what kind of disaster. Is this some kind of joke?
"Maybe this is just a prank by a vlogger in school," someone in the room said.
"A social experiment?" another student added.
Everyone starts laughing, they didn't take it seriously. They didn't know that such a call occurred throughout the earth.
Irish at the back had some thought and quickly opened his phone. The internet is flooded with all kinds of comments about the sudden call. This surprises him; he didn't expect that these calls happened everywhere, not only at his school.
While he is pondering, the teacher enters the room and starts the class. Everyone behaved and didn't continue to think about the call earlier, except Irish.
He is looking at his phone every minute, and even the teacher notices him and throws a chalk at him. Headshot! Quite professional, the room erupts with laughter, which makes Irish embarrassed.
Time started rotating, and just a minute before the three hours said by the call.
Just as the class finished, Irish went outside, and a sound resounded again, a familiar sound.
Ding!

But he can't understand the call.
Woosh!!!

All of the students were stunned for a moment. A light from the sky passed through the window and shone on everyone. A cosmic-like rainbow appeared; everyone became silent while looking at a non-existent phenomenon.
Then...
BOOM!!!!
The light was a cosmic flare, a gamma ray burst. Something like only heard in the Big Bang Theory. Some rumbles occurred, and students started panicking and shouting. All kinds of emotions develop in all students: nervousness, startled, confusion, and scared. Emotion overflowed in everyone but Irish Wilson at the door of the classroom.
"What's happening? What's this? A phenomenon? A disaster? Is this it? After I decided to study well?" Irish, who is confused and talking to himself.
Another Bang!!
BOOM!!!

Irish, who joined others in running from the lobby to get out of the building, cursed from his heart.
"Sh*t, what's happening? Is this some sort of disaster?"
Thud!!
He heard some sound like something just dropped, but he doesn't care, he just wants to go outside like in the earthquake drill. But with just a slip of thought, he turned around and noticed the girl that slipped.
He is just going to ignore it, but that girl is from the bus earlier. To think he would meet it again here, from all the chaos, his hormones win over his brain.
He quickly grabbed the girl's hand and helped her stand up. The girl also noticed and recognized him, and a flush of redness appeared on her face; she was embarrassed.
"He's the..." She muttered something and remembered this guy who pecked at her in the bus; that's why she quickly stepped off the bus that time and fled to the academy. To think of someone like him, who helped her at this moment.
But the situation doesn't allow her to be picky about someone. They were just about to stand up, but another phenomenon occurred again.
A giant, like a dark ball, appeared in the sky. It is not a black hole, but maybe something of it. It suddenly opened, a big mouth like, and quickly ate the Earth.
In the universe view, the Giant black ball character game-like Pac-Man swallowed something. ᤜᗧᱝ

Woosh!!!
Just like that, the Earth vanished.

Irish, who just wants to help the girl who caught his eye, but this again? Some sort of big question mark appeared on everyone's head because of the confusion and overwhelming emotion.
Suddenly, darkness enveloped everyone just like any other night when all electrical power went down. But the difference was that this is an unending darkness, while if the power shuts down, there are some lights coming from the sky, the moon, or a star. But this... No one knows what happened.
Then suddenly light from the phone burst like a light of sword piercing the sky and enveloped him. This situation also occurred to everyone who was holding their phone.
Irish, who was holding hand with the girl's hand, stood still, and from the moment the environment, from darkness to sudden light, the girl in his hand hugged him tightly, because of the situation.
This...
Irish' heart skipped a beat and then beat again very fast.
To think he felt something in this time, truly a jerk. Not really a jerk, maybe this is because he was an example of NGSB "No Girlfriend Since Birth," truly wonders. It was not surprising that someone like him is an NGSB because he shuts himself down indoors, who would go to meet someone inside their home like him?
Then suddenly, a growl-like rumble happened again, the light blurred everyone, like it was still dark, and the noises of students echoed and resounded in the building.
And silence occurred, like all the sound vanished. Only some feeling of touch can be felt, but the sound and sight are done like nothing.
