Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Death of Uchiha Michiko

Meanwhile, Uchiha Yato, on his way to the Uchiha shrine, felt both speechless and melancholic. Here he was, a proper transmigrator, living what could only be described as a comfortable—even leisurely—life here.

That's right. Uchiha Yato was one of many transmigrators, though unlike soul transmigration, he had grown up here and lived through over a decade of life.

Thinking of this, Uchiha Yato sighed inwardly.

"If I'd known it would be like this, I should've memorized every page of Naruto back then."

Apart from a few key plot points, Uchiha Yato's knowledge of Naruto wasn't extensive. Fortunately, he knew all the crucial turning points.

Initially, he had tried to change the Hidden Leaf's perception of the Uchiha clan through his own methods, but for some reason, it proved impossible.

So Uchiha Yato turned his attention to someone he'd met—the Konoha Princess, Tsunade, who was about eleven years older than him.

While the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, was still alive, Yato proposed an alliance marriage plan to the Uchiha clan head and elders.

His plan was simple: find a respected Uchiha to marry Tsunade Senju, symbolizing reconciliation between the two clans.

But it turned out Uchiha Kei had married too early, while the other elders were either too old or had hidden issues.

This thoroughly disgusted Uchiha Yato at the time.

"Such a large clan, and not a single suitable candidate?"

Later, Uchiha Yato changed his approach.

Since his cousin was Uchiha Kagami—who happened to be part of the Second Hokage's personal guard—Yato used his youth to his advantage, scheming ways to get Tobirama Senju to visit the Uchiha Clan Grounds.

Of course, these schemes had to be executed through Kagami, given Yato's young age and lack of standing.

At the critical moment, Yato jumped in and declared that Uchiha Kagami wished to marry Princess Tsunade.

This single statement left both the Second Hokage and Kagami utterly speechless.

The Second Hokage only remarked, "This child needs discipline early," before leaving the Uchiha Clan Grounds—never to return again.

When Kagami's future wife learned of this incident, she didn't go easy on Yato, giving him a proper lesson.

Had Kagami and his wife not been such mild-tempered people, Yato's backside would have been split eight ways that very night—likely while strung up for the beating.

Later, after the Second Hokage fell in battle, Uchiha Yato came up with another brilliant plan. (I have a stratagem.jpg)It's better to start with the Senju family. As Tsunade's grandmother, Uzumaki Mito would surely guarantee success if she could be persuaded.

Entering the Senju Clan Grounds to find Uzumaki Mito wasn't an overly complicated process.

During the early days of the Third Hokage's tenure, Uzumaki Mito even assisted him in exercising the Hokage's authority, earning her great respect from the Third Hokage.

At the time, when Uchiha Yato approached Uzumaki Mito, he skipped the small talk and went straight to the point after a few pleasantries.

But she completely ignored him. Uzumaki Mito stated, "If you're proposing a clan-based marriage alliance, your clan head should be the one to approach me, not some brat like you."

"Or perhaps you've taken a fancy to our Tsunade?!"

Uzumaki Mito had no intention of forcing Tsunade into anything regarding relationships. She simply saw this foolish boy as a source of amusement.

But Uchiha Yato replied, "Absolutely not. Forget the age gap between me and Lady Tsunade—just her terrible gambling luck and long list of bad habits would doom anyone foolish enough to marry her."

Being a blunt and straightforward man, Uchiha Yato spoke his mind without filter, instantly putting the usually composed wife of the First Hokage in an awkward position.

As fate would have it, Tsunade happened to return at that very moment and overheard Uchiha Yato's remarks.

She immediately smashed six buildings in the Senju Clan Grounds, sixteen in the Uchiha Clan Grounds, and an entire street.

In the end, it was only after Uchiha Kagami brought Uchiha Yato along to formally apologize to Tsunade that the matter was finally settled.

Uchiha Yato had initially considered trying his luck with Nawaki, but before he could even make an attempt, the boy was gone.

Every time he thought back on these events, Uchiha Yato couldn't help but sigh deeply. "My life has been like walking on thin ice. Will I ever make it to the other side?"

This single phrase of his was quickly adopted by the pretentious show-offs among the Uchiha children, who began calling him "Thin Ice Bro" nonstop.

This led to multiple Uchiha parents complaining to the clan head, demanding that Uchiha Yato be punished.

In response, our dear Uchiha Yato ran straight to the Third Hokage.

He claimed his clansmen were bullying him and demanded that the Hokage intervene to restore his innocence.

The Third Hokage had initially planned to let the matter cool off on its own, hoping Uchiha Yato would back down. After all, this was an internal Uchiha affair, and as Hokage, he couldn't easily interfere.

After hiding at home for two days with no help from the Hokage, the guy went straight to the civilian shinobi district and started loudly airing his grievances.

This resulted in the unprecedented outcome where both the Hokage and the Uchiha Clan ended up suffering.

As Uchiha Yato traveled, he reflected on his past—truly a pitiful existence.

Why couldn't anyone understand his good intentions? Everything he did was for the right reasons, so why did no one see that?

Fortunately, as a transmigrator, Uchiha Yato naturally had his own cheat system.

This system was called "Grow Stronger by Eliciting Strong Emotions from Others."

The name was ridiculous, but its functionality was excellent.

First, whenever someone felt strong emotions toward Uchiha Yato, he would earn emotional points, which could be exchanged for various rewards.

For example: Ninjutsu, talents, bloodline enhancements, and even items that didn't exist in this world.

[Name: Uchiha Yato]

[Gender: Male]

[Age: 15][Items: Quick-Acting Heart-Saving Pill, Never-Depleting Video Camera, Mocking Screaming Chicken...]

[Talent: Ninjutsu Professor (Can quickly learn and master ninjutsu)]

[Chakra Reserves: Possesses 20 times the chakra of an average person]

(Note: The "average person" here refers to Kakashi as the standard chakra measurement unit)

[Bloodline: Sharingan, Sage Body (Dormant)]

That's right—Uchiha Yato possessed Senju blood.

His father was from the Senju Clan but had married into the Uchiha Clan to be with his mother.

Before he knew it, Yato had already arrived at the shrine entrance. Inside sat a group of Uchiha Jonin.

Seeing Yato at the doorway, Uchiha Kei spoke up, "Now that everyone is here, let us officially begin today's clan meeting."

Yato cut straight to the point. "Clan Head, what matter requires a full clan meeting to resolve?"

"I just returned from a mission—look at all this blood on me. Shouldn't I go change first?"

He had intended to lighten the mood, but the solemn expressions around him remained unchanged. Yato's demeanor quickly sobered as he realized the gravity of the situation.

Uchiha Kei stated, "Uchiha Michiko is dead."

At that moment, the shrine seemed to fall into complete silence, as if someone had pressed a mute button.

The already quiet shrine became so still that those nearby could hear each other's breathing.

Yato's mind went blank, unable to process any thoughts. The last remaining family member who had cared for him after his parents' death—gone, just like that.

The usually carefree Uchiha Yato, for only the second time in his fifteen years, spoke in a chillingly calm and steady voice:

"How did she die?!"

"Was it an accident—or did someone from the village have a hand in it?!"

Unbeknownst to even himself, his Three-Tomoe Sharingan had begun to flicker.

The elder beside him replied, "We don't know. She was killed by an exploding tag."

"By the time we arrived, her Sharingan had already been taken!"

As he spoke, the elder's own Sharingan manifested, his fists clenched tightly.

Uchiha Michiko—the elder's daughter, Uchiha Kagami's wife.

And Yato's aunt by marriage.

They had to inform Yato. Otherwise, with his temperament, he would tear the entire Hidden Leaf apart searching for answers.

But therein lay the problem—no one knew whether Michiko's death was the work of an enemy nation or the Hidden Leaf itself.

After Uchiha Kagami's passing, Michiko had raised Yato as her own younger brother.

Without the Kagami couple, there would be no Uchiha Yato as he was now.

Knowing this, Yato emptied his mind, recalling the time of Kagami's death.

Back then, he hadn't even known how he made it home, his head splitting with pain—until an electronic voice echoed in his mind.

"Ding~"

"Host's emotional state detected—approaching critical threshold."

"Ding~"

"Host's emotional state confirmed as unstable. Threshold for Mangekyo Sharingan awakening reached. Convert remaining emotional energy into awakening catalyst?""Ding~"

"Host detected unconscious, defaulting to Mangekyo awakening."

At this very moment, Uchiha Yato's mind kept replaying one phrase.

"So what do you desire most!!!"

"If only..."

"If only... time... could slow down!!!!"
