Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

Shadow: The Rise of Shadow

Darkness.

Deep inside an ancient underground chamber, sealed in layers of stone and silence, a spherical object sat alone. Cracked. Forgotten.

A click.

A sound that shouldn't have been possible echoed through the stone.

Then—

A sudden crack ran across the surface of the stone sphere.

And inside, something opened.

It wasn't just a box.

It was a prison.

From the heart of the sphere, black smoke rose. It swirled and pulsed like it was alive.

The chains binding the center snapped.

And then, from the smoke, a man stepped out.

Tall. Pale. Calm.

His eyes were red, but they glowed with something darker.

His presence was ice—sharp, silent, suffocating.

Shade had returned.

---

SHADE'S LOOK

He has a shadow body — whole, like fog, and black in color. His eyes are glowing red. Height: 6'1".

His clones:

Red Clone – Color matches his eye: body is red and black.

Black Clone – Same as Shade, but with a darker presence.

---

He raised one hand into the smoke.

> "Red Soul."

The smoke twisted.

From it, a figure emerged — identical to him, but younger, shorter.

His right eye glowed red.

> "Black Soul."

Another clone stepped out. Again, the same face — but this one was darker, heavier.

His left eye glowed pitch black.

Both souls bowed before him.

> "Go," he whispered.

They vanished instantly.

---

Somewhere far away…

A scream ripped through the night.

A tall, black shadow — shaped like a human but made of swirling, living darkness — lunged forward.

Its fist smashed into a man's ribs with brutal force. A crack echoed through the air.

The man collapsed, his body folding, blood dripping from his mouth.

Beside him, a small boy stood frozen in fear.

He tried to run —

But the shadow struck again. The boy flew forward, hitting the ground hard.

He coughed. Rolled. Couldn't move.

And then... silence.

The shadow vanished.

No footsteps.

No sound.

Only a deep fog rolled in… heavy… slow… quiet.

From within the fog…

A figure appeared.

A boy.

He walked slowly.

Hands in his coat pockets.

No emotion on his face.

No fear in his steps.

Just… presence.

The man raised his head weakly.

The boy on the ground gasped.

Eyes wide. Hearts frozen.

With shaking breath, both of them whispered:

> "W-Who… are you?"

The boy stopped.

He tilted his head slightly… and smirked.

> "Just remember my name… Saku Raze."

---

SAKU RAZE'S LOOK

Eyes: dazzling blue.

Clothes: black T-shirt and black pants.

Height: 6'1".

---

As soon as the words left his lips—

He vanished.

Gone like wind through fog.

Only silence remained.

---

Saku reappeared just outside the broken house.

The fog clung to the ground like smoke from a battlefield.

He stood still.

Hands in his coat pockets.

Then—

A voice spoke behind him.

Low. Taunting. Familiar.

> "Still running, Saku Raze?"

He didn't turn.

Didn't even blink.

He just exhaled slowly.

Then answered:

> "I don't run.

I finish things."

He raised one hand.

A glowing white ring appeared in the air beside him — spinning like a ticking clock.

> "White Scroll."

A white, rectangular interface appeared in the air — like a floating box with glowing buttons.

Each button pulsed with a symbol, a different weapon hidden within.

Saku's eyes scanned it calmly, without emotion.

He moved his finger and tapped the one labeled:

KATANA.

The box pulsed—

A flash.

A long, curved blade appeared in front of him — floating in the air.

A katana.

He reached forward.

Gripped the handle.

The moment his fingers touched it, the blade surged with light.

But across from him—

Another figure stepped forward.

Dressed in black, face hidden under a dark veil of smoke.

Eyes glowing red from within.

In his hand…

Another katana.

> Black Clone.

He raised his weapon slowly.

No words.

Just a long breath.

A still moment before war.

Saku stood calm, blade pointed down.

Two swordsmen.

Two styles.

Two souls.

Silence cracked.

The air began to shake.

The fight was moments away.

Steel crashed. Sparks flew.

The white katana and the black clashed like thunder.

Both moved fast—

Too fast for the eye.

Only shadows and afterimages remained in the fog.

Black Clone gritted his teeth.

He swung low—

Blocked.

He struck high—

Parried.

Every time he attacked…

Saku was already there.

Unmoving. Cold. Precise.

They circled each other in silence… until—

> Black Clone growled:

"You… you're not normal."

"No shadow clone moves like this!"

Saku didn't answer.

He simply shifted his stance.

His blade tilted. His eyes didn't blink.

Then finally—

> Saku said, flat and calm:

"I'm not your clone.

I'm your ending."

Black Clone's heart skipped.

He stepped back slightly.

> "This pressure…?"

"Even Shade's shadows weren't this powerful…"

"Who is this boy?"

The fog thickened.

The ground trembled beneath them.

Both warriors raised their blades again.

The battle ended with a flash.

Saku's blade sliced clean through the enemy's chest —

A figure that looked exactly like the Black Clone.

It was a clone too.

The figure gasped — then disintegrated into dark mist, vanishing into the fog.

It was fake. A decoy. Just another clone.

End.

---

Saku stood still for a moment…

Then quietly wiped the blood from his blade with the sleeve of his coat.

Silence.

Only wind.

Until—

A soft, sweet voice echoed behind him.

Almost calm.

Almost… playful.

> "Saku Raze…

Did you forget me so soon?"

His eyes widened slightly.

That voice.

It wasn't the same as before.

It wasn't weak.

He turned.

And standing behind him…

Two shadows stepped forward — walking in sync.

One cloaked in black smoke.

One wrapped in red fire.

Both had sharp eyes. Glowing. Focused.

Both were clones — born from Shade's dark soul.

Both held katanas.

Black Clone. Red Clone.

The real ones.

The one he just defeated?

A clone.

A distraction.

Saku narrowed his eyes.

> "Tch.

So that was just a warm-up…"

The fog seemed to freeze in place.

Black Clone stepped forward, his voice smooth and bitter.

> "Did you forget about us, Saku?

You were always one step behind…"

Red Clone chuckled lightly.

> "You've forgotten everything, haven't you?

Even about us."

Their eyes glowed brighter.

Each of them raised one hand.

In their palms…

A glowing crystal — black and red — pulsing like it had a heartbeat.

Saku's eyes narrowed.

> "What is that…?"

The two smiled.

Not a threat—

A warning.

And then—

CRACK!

They both crushed the crystals in their hands.

A pulse of energy exploded outward—

Dark. Red. Unnatural.

Saku raised his arm to block the wave.

When the smoke cleared—

The ground was torn.

The house was gone.

The sky above had changed.

Something had been… awakened.
