Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Seraphim of Sabaody

Beneath the Glittering Trees

The Hyperion sailed steadily through the calm seas leading toward the Sabaody Archipelago. The air grew warmer, tinged with the subtle fragrance of mangrove and salt. In the distance, the vibrant canopy of the mangrove forests stretched, glowing faintly under the afternoon sun. The islands' colorful bubbles shimmered on the horizon—floating like jewels waiting to be explored.

Vegito stood at the bow, tail flicking thoughtfully as he surveyed the vast expanse. Two years of ceaseless training had transformed him into a living legend—yet here, at the cusp of the Red Line, he felt something new stirring. The weight of history, mystery, and the promise of new bonds.

The Crew's Quiet Moments

On the upper deck, Nami leaned against the railing, her eyes tracing the bubbles that danced gently around the ship. Her usual sharpness softened in the tranquil light.

"I still can't get used to these bubbles," she said, glancing at Nojiko who was nearby, flipping through a worn map of the archipelago.

"They're a part of the Archipelago's charm—and danger," Nojiko replied. "Each bubble can hold anything—from air to sea water, even rare creatures. Sailors who underestimate them sometimes don't come back."

Nami's lips curled in a faint smile. "Sounds like an adventure waiting to happen."

Nearby, Vivi and Makino sat together on a bench, sharing stories about their kingdoms, hopes, and past battles. Vivi's eyes sparkled as she spoke about Alabasta's rebirth under Vegito's influence, and Makino's warm laughter filled the space between them.

A New Bond Forms

Vegito descended to the crew's quarters, where Lyra was seated near a softly glowing orb. The ambient light cast gentle shadows across her silver hair as she studied an ancient tome.

"You've come far since Ohara," Vegito said quietly, taking a seat beside her.

Lyra's gaze lifted, serene and unreadable. "There is still much to learn—and unlearn. This world hides its truth beneath layers of lies and forgotten pain."

He nodded. "And we will peel those layers back, one by one."

A soft knock interrupted the moment. Robin entered, carrying a delicate bouquet of wildflowers from Skypiea.

"I thought these might brighten the room," Robin said, placing the flowers on a nearby table.

Lyra smiled faintly, eyes reflecting gratitude. "Thank you, Robin."

The three women shared a quiet camaraderie, each bringing a different piece of the world's story—and each strengthening the tapestry that bound Vegito's growing harem.

Vegito accessed the guide, scanning descriptions of the archipelago's unique flora, fauna, and political tensions. The Seraphim, the World Government's newly engineered super-soldiers, loomed as an ominous threat on the horizon.

Training in the Bubbles

Later, Kuina and Tashigi practiced swordplay within a giant air bubble. The suspended water shifted with every movement, resistance and fluidity intertwined. Kuina's blade sliced gracefully, while Tashigi's counters grew sharper.

"You're improving," Kuina said with a smirk.

Tashigi wiped sweat from her brow. "Only because I don't want to lose to you."

Vegito watched from the edge, pride swelling. Each of his crew's skills was a thread strengthening the fabric of their future.

Reflection

That night, beneath the glittering canopy of stars, Vegito stood apart on the deck, tail curling around his feet. The journey ahead was long and dangerous, but for once, the world felt alive with promise rather than fear.

He thought of each woman who had joined him—Nami, Vivi, Robin, Lyra, Kuina, Tashigi, Nojiko, and the others. They were more than allies. More than companions.

They were his strength. His sanctuary.

And together, they would reshape the world.
