Just as Alaya was about to leave the house, Su Yu called out,"Wait, Sister Alaya—where's my space ring?"
"Huh? Oh… right. Let's ask Gaia to help you make one. Speaking of which—idiot Gaia, come with me." Alaya seemed to remember something important and dragged Gaia outside.
"Sister Fantasy, you can practice using your divine power here first. Gaia and I will prepare everything for your time travel. We'll be back in a few days," Alaya said, turning to wave.
"Oh, sure. And don't forget to refine the space ring for me!" Su Yu shouted back. (Exactly how much obsession does she have with space rings?)
The Girl is Practicing
Three days passed quickly, and Gaia and Alaya returned.
"Fantasy Sister, here's your space ring, and the Scabbard of Fantasy—your protective gear for time travel." Gaia handed Su Yu a white jade ring and a gleaming white scabbard covered in runes.
As for why it was a scabbard and not, say, armor… well, that's just how the author's universe logic works.
"A body for time travel?" Su Yu asked, tilting her head in confusion.
"That's right," Alaya explained. "Since you're one of the three greatest restraining forces, the Source won't allow your real body into a world unless something major happens. So, you'll need a clone. Don't worry about power—this body was crafted from the trunk of the World Tree, refined by Sister Gaia and me together. It can handle all your strength up to level 13, which is more than enough for you right now."
She then produced a barefoot loli in a white dress—identical to Su Yu in every way. Obviously, this was Su Yu's travel body.
"Oh… and what's the point of the scabbard?" Su Yu asked, holding it up.
"Fantasy Sister, this scabbard is very powerful. If it's attacked, it creates an extra-dimensional space around you, making the attacker unable to touch you. It can withstand one-tenth of my full power—so basically, no one can hurt you while you're wearing it. And this space ring? Besides normal storage, it links to your God Realm. If you sign a Heroic Spirit contract with your travel body, you can teleport back instantly through the ring," Gaia explained enthusiastically.
"Since when did you switch from naturally clueless to hot-blooded idiot?" Alaya muttered.
"For your future travel plans, you'll need to talk to Xiao Ling—she's your sacred tool for managing the fantasy world," Alaya added, opening the Fantasy Book.
Inside, a tiny, adorable elf loli slept soundly, her peaceful face making the three girls instinctively shed a single, metaphorical Genghis Khan tear.
"Xiao Ling, wake up," Alaya said gently, poking her cheek.
"Mm… have you eaten?" Xiao Ling mumbled as she woke, making the others nearly choke.
"It's not mealtime—it's your master's time to travel," Alaya sighed.
"Oh, that's it. Where are we going?" Xiao Ling asked.
"Hmm… we'll decide later. First, Fantasy Sister needs to merge with her travel body," Alaya said.
"Lie down on the white jade bed," she instructed Su Yu. "Then focus your consciousness into this body."
Su Yu lay down, closed her eyes, and slowly drifted out of her real body, merging into the travel one. She opened her eyes to find herself being held by Princess Alaya.
"Sister Alaya, please put me down," Su Yu said, flustered.
Once on the ground, Alaya asked, "So, Fantasy Sister, which world do you want to visit?"
"Hmm… they all look fun. I can't decide," Su Yu said, thinking hard.
Half an hour later
"Hmm… they all look fun. I still can't decide," Su Yu said, still thinking hard.
"Have you decided yet?" Alaya asked, tapping her foot.
"Hmm… there are too many fun worlds. It's hard to choose."
Another half hour later
"Hmm… maybe this one? No… they're all fun," Su Yu said again.
Alaya snapped. "Enough! If you can't choose, I'll pick one at random!"
With terrifying aura flaring, she grabbed the Fantasy Book, opened it to a random page, and said, "Here. Done."
"No, no, wait! I've decided!" Su Yu panicked.
"No, sister, my choice is final. In you go."
Before Su Yu could react, Alaya slapped the Fantasy Book onto her head. A vortex formed where they touched, sucking both Su Yu and the book inside in less than a second.
Watching them vanish, Alaya let out a deep sigh. "Finally, that annoying girl is gone."
With a wave, she summoned a tea table, brewed black tea, and sat with Gaia.
"Life is truly peaceful," she said, sipping calmly. And it would have been peaceful—if she hadn't just received news that all of humanity was about to die.
"Yeah," Gaia replied, taking a sip of her own tea.
