As soon as the Princess exited the library, quickly followed by Sun Chan and Wang Chan, the Sword Expert's eyes glued at the Princess.
Although the Princess was only at the late stage of the Qi Condensation Stage, she has developed quite a sensitive sense, causing her to quickly turn her head and notice the silhouette of Elder Mo Fu.
Elder Mo Fu waited until they fully descended to the stairs and quickly dashed in front of the Princess.
He inspected the Princess, even ignoring Sun Chan who already grasped the hammer behind her back.
Of course, he was already in the defensive state, having his right hand on the hilt of his sword.
Staring at the Princess with inquiry gaze, he asked, "Did you receive a book from him? Or you choose them in his library?"
The Princess stared at Elder Mo Fu with a solemn expression, and suddenly smiled.
She mocked, "If you get to receive a book from him, why can't I?"
Elder Mo Fu's eyes widened and snorted.
"Good for you, then. Since Mr. Liu Wei valued us, we can't fight against each other. We have to develop a kinship with other valued customers of his, so we will be able to earn his trust… genuinely, I mean. An existence like him can easily see through our intentions. We must work hard and help each other."
Elder Mo Fu then extended his hand, seemingly wanting a handshake.
Wang Chan was utterly disgusted.
She was about to slap Elder Mo Fu's hand when Elder Mo Fu glared at her, freezing her.
Her heart raced. She saw an image of her getting sliced into many pieces.
She broke into sweat as her legs turned jelly.
Thankfully, Elder Mo Fu only released his Sword Intent in an instant to stop her from ruining his moment, so she was able to keep her consciousness.
The Princess ignored her maid as she accepted Elder Mo Fu's handshake.
She asked, "What's your name?"
Elder Mo Fu smiled.
"Since Mr. Liu Wei likes to call me Elder Mo Fu, then that shall be my name henceforth."
The Princess nodded and said, "Nice to meet you, Elder Mo Fu. I'm Princess Jin Xuelin, the princess of the kingdom where you reside. If you need something, just contact me."
They finally stopped shaking hands as Elder Mo Fu placed his right hand on his left chest and bowed slightly.
He said, "Thank you in advance, Princess. But, I won't be taking advantage of your kindness. This is also a form of practice. Anyway, good luck comprehending the book. It's priceless. As you might already know, others can not read it. Don't violate Mr. Liu Wei's rule. You have to return it in six months, or worse, you might be banned from his library permanently."
The Princess was horrified. If she was to be banned from the library, her chance to change her life would be wasted.
She must certainly prevent that from happening.
She bowed slightly like how royals do and said, "Thank you for the information, Elder Mo Fu. You are right. Even if my father is to get banned from his library, he will not be able to do anything. Offending Mr. Liu Wei might only erase our kingdom in the annals of history, or worse… it might be erased completely.
I owe you, Elder Mo Fu."
Elder Mo Fu shook his head and waved his hand.
He said, "It's normal to remind each other, now that we are kin as Mr. Liu Wei's customers. Anyway, I have to go now. I have to meet Mr. Liu Wei's expectations for my future."
He then grinned and glanced at the sky above him.
"I will become a Sword Master in the future and aspire to achieve more than that. Bid me luck."
Princess Jin Xuelin was taken aback. So was Sun Chan.
Wang Chan, meanwhile, was still experiencing a panic attack.
Princess Jin Xuelin and Sun Chan were only able to react when Elder Mo Fu turned around and began to walk away from them.
They glanced at each other and bowed at him simultaneously.
Princess Jin Xuelin said, "Good luck on your journey, Elder Mo Fu. I'm sure you'll be able to meet Mr. Liu Wei's expectations and receive his blessing."
Elder Mo Fu smiled. However, he did not turn around and simply raised his hand and waved.
He said, "Likewise, Princess. May you gain freedom with the help of Mr. Liu Wei."
Princess Jin Xuelin was stunned. She then smiled and shook her head.
She turned to Sun Chan and asked, "He really is the resident of the kingdom. He might have been here since he was born. How come we don't know such an expert to be born from this kingdom?"
A Sword Expert, no matter the age, would be warmly accepted by Crimson Sun Guard. Even if he was only on the Qi Condensation Stage, his Dao attainment was already enough to obtain a high position in the Imperial Guard.
Yet, Elder Mo Fu's identity remained hidden.
Princess Jin Xuelin was able to reach a conclusion.
Sun Chan said what came to her mind, "Unless, he only became a Sword Expert a month or more ago. Since he became a Sword Expert and according to Mr. Liu Wei, one could only borrow a book in six months, my assumption would be more reasonable."
Princess Jin Xuelin nodded.
She said, "I feel the same. It's good to know I am able to form a deep relationship with him. It might help me in the future."
Sun Chan said, "I suggest let's keep the library's visit, as well as Elder Mo Fu's relationship with him, from your Father for now, Princess. Let us wait before you become an Archer Expert. In fact, this will be our last visit for the next sixth month."
Princess Jin Xuelin was stunned. She furrowed her eyebrows and her eyes widened.
She sighed.
"You're right. Thank you for reminding me, Sun Chan. Father won't believe me at first if I don't show it to him. Big Brother might also catch wind of this place, as a result. We must prevent him from knowing this place."
Sun Chan nodded heavily.
"Absoultely, Princess. If we want our kingdom to strive instead of getting destroyed."
Just think of the image of Mr. Liu Wei, appearing in their mind, sending a chill running down their spines…
