Vishnu entered the room where Vishi was resting, accompanied by a couple of people along with Shika. After entering, Vishnu said to Vishi,
"Well, you said that you would meet some people, right? Here they are."
Vishi, who was immersed in his book, looked up at Vishnu and the people with him only after two minutes. Both parties scanned each other. The red‑haired girl blushed while looking at Vishi.
Oh, he is handsome.
Seeing her reaction, the other comrades thought, Guess the saying 'birds of a feather flock together' was right. Shika, however, was clearly not happy seeing her reaction.
Vishi then said, "You all might know me. I am Vishi Naran."
The red‑haired girl, stammering, replied, "I… am… Miley… Miley Montana."
The other two boys introduced themselves, saying their names were Robert Wright and Will Myers.
Suddenly, Shika said, "Your bank account, along with all the assets of your parents, has been set up, and everything related to it is available in your room."
Vishi replied, "Hmm." Then he continued, "Vishnu, why do you not call these cadets your friends? I noticed that you never mention them as friends."
Hearing this, Will replied, "Oh, you don't know? Vishnu only considers people who are equal to him in skill—or above—to be his friends. We wanted to meet you because we wanted to know who the person was who matched Vishnu in strength."
Miley added, "We also wanted to know if the rumor that you are not an inheritor is true."
Vishi asked, "Rumor?"
"Yes," Miley said. "Everyone was surprised to know that you were not an inheritor. That was also the reason Johann wanted to have a duel with you."
Vishi asked again, surprised, "Duel?"
Vishnu interrupted, "Oh, I forgot to tell you about that." After that, he briefed Vishi about everything.
After hearing the explanation, Vishi asked, "Do you think you could fight and win within the given period?"
Vishnu did not reply. Seeing this, Shika said, "Johann is not just another cadet. He is Miss Rodriguez's masterpiece of the current generation."
Miley continued, "You're right. He is known for his ability to copy any fighting style with just a couple of glances. His talent is the reason Miss Rodriguez is not expanding this generation of her clan."
Vishi then asked, "What is this talk about generations?"
Vishnu explained, "The Order of the Black Knight has had many leaders. Whenever a new leader is appointed, we mark it as the beginning of a new generation, and when the leader retires, that generation ends. You might not have found this in the book because this method was adopted during the Supreme's tenure. There were many clans, and he did not want to start another hierarchy within the Knight Order."
After hearing this, Vishi asked Shika, "When we first met, you said that I was Vishnu's new friend. Why did you say that?"
Shika replied, "Well, he mostly talked to himself—or you could say, to the Black Knight—and no one else was ever considered his friend."
Vishnu then asked Vishi in a serious tone, "Pal, are you sure you can fight in this battle? If you cannot, then say so. The Supreme asked me to confirm it with you, but I already said yes on your behalf."
Vishi replied calmly, "Your words are my words."
