It was all dark, but now he was opening his eyes slowly. He was surprised by his surroundings. Just moments before, he had been inside the library, writing something on a whiteboard, and now he was lying in a place similar to a hospital ward, with glucose tubes connected to his hand.
By Vishi's movement, the lady who was taking care of him called someone.
After some time, Vishnu and Shika entered the room. Vishnu looked at Vishi and said,"You fucker, I told you to sleep and eat, right?"
Vishi then asked Vishnu,"What happened?"
Vishnu replied while sitting near Vishi,"Well, you being a fucker and not listening to me just got unconscious in the library because of improper sleep and food."
Vishi then remembered something, started thinking, and suddenly smiled, which surprised everyone there.
Vishi asked,"How many days was I inside the library? And how long was I here?"
Vishnu looked at Shika and replied,"Well, I guess you were in the library for fifteen days, and you've been lying here for three days."
Vishi looked at Vishnu and said,"Thank you."
He then looked at Shika and, with a smile, said,"You too."
This made Shika blush slightly, though Vishnu failed to notice it.
After some time, Vishnu asked,"Did you get the answers to your questions?"
Vishi replied,"Well, I got answers to some, but I think too much is still hidden from my eyes."
Vishnu said,"Some of the trainees of the Order of the Black Knight wanted to meet you…"He paused, then continued,"Are you willing to meet them?"
After thinking for a moment, Vishi replied,"Why not?"
Vishnu stood up and said,"Well, I'm leaving. If you want something, just tell this beautiful lady here to contact me, okay?"
Vishi replied,"I want books."
This surprised both Shika and Vishnu.
"What do you want?"
"Books."
Vishnu looked at Vishi and said,"You really are one mad fucker."
They both left the room.
(IN THE HALL OF THE HEADS)
Every clan head was seated there, including Schneider and Miss Rodriguez.
Suddenly, everyone stood up at the arrival of the Supreme. After the Supreme sat down, everyone else followed.
Shika and Vishnu then entered the hall. The Supreme asked,"How is the boy?"
Vishnu replied,"He is completely normal."
Hearing this, some of the clan heads who had entered the library showed shock on their faces, while the Supreme merely smirked.
The Supreme said,"I think he will lead to a good friendship."
Suddenly, Miss Rodriguez spoke,"Supreme, I have something I would like to discuss."
The Supreme replied,"You may."
Miss Rodriguez continued,"Thank you, sir. My cadet Johann, of Vishnu's generation, wants to have a hand-to-hand duel with Vishi."
Everyone was surprised. Johann was not just another cadet of Vishnu's generation—though he could not compete with Vishnu, he was far from an easy opponent.
Miss Rodriguez continued,"I know everyone may think this is not a good idea, but it might be right to test Vishi's abilities against someone skilled. Though he has fought Vishnu before, that was only practice."
She looked at Vishnu and added,"Not death duels."
The room fell into thought.
The Supreme then asked,"Vishnu, what do you think?"
Vishnu replied without hesitation,"Sir, I can guarantee that my friend will win—but only if he is given four more days of rest, during which I will not help him practice even a single bit."
The Supreme nodded and said,"Very well. The duel will take place after four days. I will personally watch it."
