King Kai's Planet.
"The nearest habitable planet to the Three-Eyed Planet, huh?" The antennae on North Kai's head twitched slightly as he began searching for a world near the Three-Eyed Planet that could support the survival of its people.
You might ask, since Gohan had the star map of Universe 7 in his mind, why didn't he just find it himself?
Well, that's not the same. North Kai could sense the environment of a planet whether it was suitable for life and if intelligent species already existed there. Gohan couldn't do that! If it were left to him, he'd have to check each planet one by one.
North Kai searched with focus.
Just then, Goku walked over and said, "Gohan, from the way you describe them, I can't help but feel like they sound familiar!"
"Hmph, that three-eyed bald guy!" Piccolo reminded him.
"That's right, Tien! The people from the Three-Eyed Planet are exactly like him! Could it be that Tien is also an alien?" Piccolo's reminder shattered the last bit of doubt in Goku's mind.
"It's possible, Dad. But let me finish my business first, and then I'll take him to visit. How about that?" Gohan asked for his father's opinion.
"Sure. You haven't met Krillin and the others yet either. They're all my friends. Once I finish my training and you've taken care of your business, let's go together!" Goku agreed with a smile.
Ding!
"I've found it about a thousand light-years north of the Three-Eyed Planet. Its environment is extremely similar to theirs. Though it has two suns, they orbit at a distance, so the temperature difference isn't much. And it's a newborn planet with no intelligent life forms!" North Kai announced as his antennae twitched again.
"A thousand light-years? That's a bit far. I wonder if their ships are fast enough," Gohan frowned.
"Don't worry. The route to that planet is perfectly safe no black holes or other hazards. Even if their ships aren't fast, they'll make it there safely," North Kai reassured him.
"Then thank you, Lord North Kai. Could you give me the coordinates?" Gohan asked, bowing slightly.
North Kai wrote the coordinates on a sheet of paper using the script of the Three-Eyed People.
"Well, I'll be off. Bye!" Gohan vanished instantly.
"This kid is always in such a rush," North Kai shook his head.
"He's still a kid, after all. To have done so much already is beyond my expectations," Goku said warmly.
"Hmph. A kid who can beat you," Piccolo snorted.
"Even if he beats me, he's still my son," Goku replied proudly, not the least bit offended.
"Bah! Come fight me!" Piccolo growled, launching an attack.
"Bring it on!"
Piccolo's side kick whipped toward Goku's left cheek, but Goku blocked with his arm in time.
The clash rang out like steel striking steel, sending shockwaves rippling outward.
"Hey, hey! Take it to the sky! My poor little planet can't handle your fights!" North Kai barked.
Piccolo shot into the air, Goku right behind him.
…
Three-Eyed Planet.
"These are the coordinates of your new home, but it's a thousand light-years away," Gohan told them.
"That's not far at all. Our ancestors have collected plenty of tech to speed up travel. At full speed, we'll arrive in just three years!" King Tianmu's voice was filled with relief.
Since taking the throne, he had constantly worried for his people, afraid that the Three-Eyed God Race might perish under his rule. Now that a new home had been found, his heart swelled with joy.
"Then you should get moving. Once everyone's gone, I'll take action," Gohan instructed.
"Understood. Give me three days."
For the next three days, Gohan remained in the vacuum of space, monitoring the star's condition.
One after another, massive ships rose from the planet, breaking through the atmosphere into space. The scene was enough to blot out the sky.
To prepare for this day, the Three-Eyed Race had built more than ten thousand ships the size of the moon, each with a complete ecosystem that could support life for over a century even if no new planet was found.
The fleet quietly gathered behind Gohan.
Finally, the largest ship twice the size of the moon ascended.
Gohan teleported aboard. It was King Tianmu's flagship.
"Young friend, our people are all aboard. You can begin," the Great Elder said, gazing wistfully at their homeworld.
"Don't worry. Destroying the star doesn't mean destroying the planet. Perhaps in the future, this star system will give birth to a new sun. The Three-Eyed Planet will just enter a long ice age," Gohan explained gently, sensing their sorrow.
"You're right… We've been sentimental. We owe you our thanks. From now on, our race will be your most loyal allies. If you ever need us, we won't refuse," King Tianmu pledged sincerely.
"No problem. We'll meet again. Now, if you'd like to watch, stay tuned," Gohan said, disappearing from the ship.
In the vacuum, one of the king's advisors whispered, "Your Majesty, I thought Saiyans couldn't survive in space?"
"If he's connected to North Kai, surviving in space is nothing to him. Watch closely you might finally see the true extent of his power," the king replied, his gaze fixed on Gohan.
Gohan smiled inwardly. If they wanted a show, he'd give them one this would be their final reassurance.
"Let's show them the Super Saiyan. This will be the first time it appears in the world," he murmured.
His muscles swelled, and a massive aura erupted from his body.
The flagship's sensors began measuring his power level.
"Ten million… fifty million… one hundred million… Warning! Target exceeds maximum limit!"
"Shut it down before it explodes!" the king shouted.
The techs quickly cut the feed.
Though no sound carried in the vacuum, Gohan's terrifying aura sent vibrations through their ships. Golden flames flared around him, his hair turned gold, his eyes green the overwhelming pressure washed over them.
"To trigger a collapse without outright destruction, I'll have to damage the star's core," Gohan calculated.
He raised his right hand, bracing his wrist with his left, fingers forming a blade.
A golden speck of energy formed at his fingertip, growing denser and denser.
"Piercing Star Strike!"
A narrow, concentrated beam shot forth, piercing into the star's core. The sudden ignition caused the cooling core to explode internally not enough to destroy the star outright, but enough to trigger a chain reaction leading to its collapse.
The sunspots flared wildly as the star dimmed. Matter began collapsing inward.
In moments, the star shrank and darkened. No explosion came just a silent implosion.
At its center lay a black, metallic mass, Pile Steel.
Pile Steel could only be formed by the intense compression within a collapsing star; if the star exploded, it would scatter into nothingness.
The sight of the star's collapse left the Three-Eyed People stunned.
Gohan teleported to the metal, lifting the ten-meter chunk with one hand. Even as a Super Saiyan, its sheer weight strained him a testament to its extreme density.
Smiling faintly, he thought, I'll leave the melting and forging of this to Bulma.
"Young friend Gohan, until we meet again!" the king's voice echoed telepathically from the ship.
"See you," Gohan mouthed in reply.
With twin streaks of light, the fleet accelerated away into the void.
Gohan, dragging the massive Pile Steel, vanished in an instant.
