Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Consecutive Normal Punches!

"Roooar—!"

With a furious bellow, Hulk lifted the tank Saitama was on and slammed it down hard.

Boom rumble rumble!

The tank landed in the distance, twisted and deformed. Saitama simply shook his head helplessly.

"Better have your men fall back a bit. This isn't a fight you can get involved in."

He called out toward General Ross in the distance.

"General?!"

Even from far away, Saitama's voice reached every soldier's ears with perfect clarity.

For a moment, the rain of artillery fire ceased, every soldier waiting for the next order.

"Father, that's Saitama!"

The rescued Betty called out excitedly.

"Provide Saitama with covering fire! Our men are to withdraw for now!"

Ross furrowed his brow and gave the command in a deep voice.

Immediately—

A dense hail of firepower rained on Hulk, forcing the giant into a momentary retreat.

But it was only that—momentary.

Like an enraged beast, Hulk's furious gaze locked onto the soldiers not far away, his roar shaking the battlefield.

Then he charged forward.

The ground thundered with each step as he barreled toward the soldiers and armored vehicles.

Faced with the crushing pressure of the charging monster, every soldier's face went pale, cold sweat pouring down.

When Hulk was barely a hundred meters from reaching them, his momentum suddenly halted.

Or rather—

He was stopped, his arm firmly gripped by Saitama, who didn't let him take a single step forward.

"Bruce, look over here. We're going to fight somewhere else."

Before the words had fully left his mouth—

Hulk let out a scream as the world spun around him.

Back throw!

Saitama hurled him like a ragdoll, sending him skidding across the ground for over a kilometer before he smashed into a towering mountain peak, collapsing it entirely.

A jagged trench now marred the ground where he'd been dragged.

General Ross: "…"

Soldiers: "…"

Betty: "…"

Everyone stared, dumbfounded at the overwhelming power they'd just witnessed.

It was almost unimaginable that this ordinary-looking bald man could throw Hulk like that.

"Roooar—!"

Lying on the ground, Hulk's bones felt like they'd been shattered.

But as his rage surged, he felt an endless well of strength.

He shoved aside the boulders pinning him and launched himself like a cannonball, leaping three meters off the ground as he rocketed toward Saitama.

He swung a massive fist down—

"Normal Punch!"

A flicker of interest appeared in Saitama's dead-fish eyes.

A simple, unadorned punch from where he stood.

Boom—!

A small fist and a massive fist collided.

The difference in size was absurd.

From the point of impact, a visible shockwave erupted, blasting outward in all directions.

Soldiers who were too close screamed as they were flung into the air, and even armored vehicles rocked violently from the force.

But what made everyone's eyes nearly pop out was—

The three-meter-tall Hulk, charging like a bulldozer, was sent flying back even faster than he'd come!

Another trench, even deeper than before, tore through the desert, the air along its path twisting into a vacuum from the force of the punch.

Hulk was slammed straight into a mountainside.

And Saitama?

He only slid back a few meters from the impact.

If not for the shattered ground beneath his feet, some might have suspected Hulk was just an inflatable dummy.

"All units, retreat immediately! That's an order!!"

Snapping back to his senses, Ross decisively gave the command—this was no longer a battle humans could join.

In a fight of this level, soldiers weren't even cannon fodder; there was no point in getting involved.

But that kid Saitama… could he really handle this?

The mountain began to crumble, collapsing bit by bit.

With his right arm twisted unnaturally and his muscles knotted like ropes, Hulk emerged, his face contorted in pain and fury.

As his anger spiked, his torn muscles and broken bones healed at an astonishing rate.

He strode forward again, charging.

Saitama didn't hold back either, raising his fist.

Normal Punch!

Normal Punch!

Normal Punch!!

Rumble rumble rumble—!

Visible shockwaves burst forth like tsunamis, tearing across the desert until there wasn't a single patch of ground left untouched—it looked as if a carpet of missiles had been dropped.

Ross and his soldiers were nearly frozen in shock.

This was more thrilling than any sci-fi movie scene.

Before, Hulk tearing apart the base had seemed like the work of a devil itself.

But none of them expected—

In front of this bald man…

The devil was just a weak, merciful creature.

That guy…

Was the true abyssal demon!

No matter how ferociously Hulk charged, Saitama always met him with a single punch, sending him flying once again.

From afar, it looked like a giant green sandbag being bounced back and forth, screaming and roaring each time.

"This isn't really working out, huh? I have to hold back my strength, but still put you down."

Saitama sighed, looking a little annoyed.

Hulk's endurance rating was a "7," practically immortal—so long as he stayed angry, he could survive endlessly.

Normal Punches weren't having the desired effect.

Watching Hulk leap from the rubble again, charging in with unrestrained fury, Saitama sighed helplessly.

"Looks like we'll have to change tactics, Bruce."

"Consecutive Normal Punches!"
